Alex glanced at Jasper and shook her head. Why were people acting like this? It made them look stupid and unconvincing at least to her. She was afraid of two things in the world: one she couldn't even think about without shuddering and two the lady that was the announcer. She glared at Jamie and shook her head.

Jamie glared at Alex and then charm-spoke a boy to go get her a bottle of water.

Joseph glanced at his sister and Jamie. The two had hated each other for ages.

Grace wiped her face of all emotions. Showing she was scared or sad would not help. Once that was finished, she glanced around at everyone else. Perhaps she could make an alliance with one. It had been done before, right?

@bunnyshadow I don't know how to do poison without god-modding. xD Um... Let's say he can inject different types of poison into people just by looking at them, but he can only use it after it's charged up. Also, he has no "sudden death" or "countdown to death" poisons, just various types.

With a tight sigh, Phoebe stood and watched the limousine trail smoke behind it as it drove away. She stood until she could no longer hear the rumble of its engine, long after any of the other adolescents could have. She found herself to be frowning.

There were murmurings of alliances floating about the town square, drifting like dust motes through still air. In the way that dust often fails to perturb its observers, Phoebe did not feel alarmed. However, in the way that dust often discomforts the cleanly, she felt a bit unsure of whether to clean now or hold out in the hopes that someone else would--that is, ask an alliance of someone, or wait to be approached. She folded her hands in front of herself and searched the faces of the crowd, trying to find someone whose personality seemed strong.
