Jasper ate some food, being careful to not stuff himself. He didn't want to be fat and lazy before the games started. Besides, if he ate too much, there will be no chance of survival once he was bloated. It was much easier to fight and kill when one is hungry.

The thought of killing people bothered him. It would be just amazing if everyone allied together. Still perhaps the gamemakers will kill each one of us either way. Whoever wins..... well, Jasper wasn't fond of the idea of him winning. He didn't want to be knowned as the ultimate survivor/killer in the game.

Joseph soon walked off the food and sat next to Sylvia. He looked at Jasper and said coolly, "So you are in an alliance with my sister, Alex?"

Alex smiled at Grace and said, "Hey, who are you?" She said calmly.

Alena noticed that Pepper had ignored her. So she kept on eating. When she was done, she walked out of the room and onto the deck. She hoped Pepper was done eating and had followed her. She sighed. The sea was her zone. As she thought about that, she made the waves suddenly go calmer.

@bunnyshadow Actually she was talking to Alena, but I guess she got ignored. :I Oh well.

Phoebe ate a small dinner, spending most of the time stirring her mashed potatoes with her spoon. Much as she was used to, she listened keenly to the conversations of the others. Discomfort was beginning to grow, manifesting itself in the pit of her stomach. She was afraid she'd be all alone when the games began.

With the noise of the other supernaturals masking the noise of her departure, she slid her chair away from the table and floated over toward the shore. After a minute or two of wandering around, she found a rock jutting out from the sand that was large enough to sit on.

Phoebe glanced back over her shoulder toward the group. So far she had made two enemies. It was now time to make a friend.

Alena noticed a floating chair and smiled. She flicked her hand and a spring of water splashed in front of the chair.

Rosaline was full after her second dish. She laid down on the bench and started dreaming about the other's deaths. But she was thinking about her alliances. "Should I kill them straight off?" Rosaline thought about it for along time.

Grace returned a nod to Alex. Later, she was asked for her name. She replied,"Grace." She then returned to looking at the sea. Hm, where was Selena?

Alex nodded, "I am Alex." She said keeping her voice calm and smooth. She then looked back at the beautiful sea and the setting sun before saying, "It busts seems to be mocking us."

Grace shrugged. "You know, we shouldn't have to do this," she stated. "It's completely wrong. I won't kill anyone." In a sense, she was lying. She would, of course, have to kill others who tried to kill her. But by saying this, she might have a chance of looking weak. Then she would be left alone.

Alex shrugged, "I don't want to kill anybody but that stupid girl Jamie. The one with the power of charm-speak. We have hated each other for years and our history is a bad one. I only want to kill her though. Just her then I will be satisfied." She said quietly.

Grace pretended to look horrified when Alex said she wanted to kill someone. Another part of the act. After a brief moment of silence, she said,"Well, I'm glad I don't have any enemies. At least, not yet. I hope I won't get any at all."

Alena suddenly stared crying. "Why is it always me in the family that was singled out, tortured, beaten, and harrased!? Am I the unlucky one!?" she cried out to th sea, her voice echoing.

Phoebes' eyes had begun to wander back toward the ocean as she resumed listening, but the beginning of a new conversation had caught her attention. She turned again, listening as a girl from one of the alliances declared she was going to kill Barbie--rather, Jamie, she corrected herself. "I could help," Phoebe said levelly in her subtly musical voice. She projected her voice so that despite her distance, it sounded as if she had spoken from right next to them. The only clue that it had been her speaking was that she was looking straight at the two of them from far away.

Common enemies could unite people, she thought to herself a bit uncomfortably. It wasn't the way she would have liked to ally, but it was a legitimate strategy.

Alex laughed and said, "Oh if you got to know her a little better you would want to kill her too. And trust me I know about a lot of these people, a few of them are going to just find even the smallest reason for you to be an enemy. Oh look there is Jamie by the table, go talk to her and tell me how you feel after talking to her for 5 minutes."

Jamie was slowly finishing her food.

Grace jumped as someone suddenly spoke. The voice as if it was between her and Alex. (Sorry for terrible grammar, always get mixed up with those things.) She looked around quickly. No one was near. She looked farther and saw a girl facing them. Grace realized her facial expression showed she was startled. She quickly changed to a calm look.

"Thanks. Good luck to you too. Maybe you'll win, you never know...." Jasper said, already wondering what Jamie was planning. He thought that if he had to kill anybody, it would be Jamie. Her endowment didn't seem powerful, but it was.

Glad to be acknowledged, Phoebe replied, "I said I could help you take care of that girl, Jamie." Her tone did not reflect her slightly content feeling, remaining as calm as her first comment. Her face remained unchanged as well. "I heard you talking," she added, a tone hinting at her voice that could have been embarrassment or sheepishness or even unabashedness. It was difficult to tell.

Until the girl summoned her, she would remain where she was. It would do no good to be pushy.

"Nyx, lets go talk to some people!" Lupa laughed. She pulled Nyx over to talk to someone. There was a boy, with super light skin, dark eyes, and black hair. (Pepper) "Hi, I'm Lupa and this is Nyx!" Lupa said.

Alex smiled and said, "Well then join the club and come sit over here." She said as she looked at the girl. She then brought up something she had heard and asked the girl, "So I heard you call Hamie by a nickname, what was it again?" She wasn't very sure what exactly the girl had said but wanted to know. She was happy to know that so many hated Jamie, that would mean she would go down, at least she though it would. The only thing that worried her was that Jamie would use her own brother to try and kill her since she knew that Alex would never kill him.

Jasper already knew Jamie's power. Still, he needed to get to know other people. Then, he could target their weakness when he needed to.

Grace saw that this was a conversation for Alex and the other girl. She looked around and saw a twosome greeting many people. Actually, one was dragging the other around. It was kind of funny. She stiffened when she saw they were greeting Pepper. She still couldn't figure out exactly why she didn't like him. Oh well. She glanced at the rippling waves of the sea.

For a brief moment, a grateful smile flashed across Phoebe's face, and her lips curled tentatively upward. However, as soon as it came, it went. She rose from the rock with a cool, alert expression--eyes slightly widened, lips slightly parted--and strode over to Alex and Grace. She found herself a chair on the way over and swung it to the ground in front of the two girls before gracefully sliding into it.

Phoebe's face was clean and mature, though her hair and piercings seemed to say otherwise. She was an oddly contradictory girl, dressed to draw attention but cripplingly quiet. "I called her Barbie," she said, suddenly less proud of the name. "Because she looks plastic."

A brief but deliberate nod was spared in Grace's direction, in place of a hello.

Alex glanced at Jamie and wondered what she was thinking. Something that had to do with murder and she knew it. She was planning someone's death but the real question was who's. Alex smiled, "Yes but a very deadly Barbie at that. She can use we power to very extreme measures and is very deadly no matter how she looks." Alex warned.
