Hmmm interesting topic, I havent really noticed the drama much :/ usually when newbies post on my wall or pm about adopting rares i just ignore..and a couple times ive put my eggs in tims for a month and just left 😊 I feel so old on eggcave now 😉 I think there should be a retired club for oldies 😃 haha

But to help newbies there should be an eggcave guide, one that @ian has wrote or approved, maybe even a egg-newspaper or something of the sort?

@meg an eggcave guide would be helpful to the newbies but when I look back on my previous experience when I was a newbie myself I think it also helps to have someone to talk to when the guide isn't enough. So the big brother/sister thing @victoria_the_wolf started is a great idea!

I remember when people saved Foos an Florns for each other. The Trade Center didn't exist then & we kept them for each other or months & months 'til it was released.
I remember when I was gone during Valentines and missed out on the Tines. I asked for one and multiple people that I didn't know at all offered me one.
I remember the days when "fake/side" accounts was still a foreign concept.

I still miss that, but I think that there are still users out there who will try and keep this alive and help to keep Egg Cave a place that we can enjoy. That's why I'm still here.
Those users who start drama, forget them. They'll eventually lose interest when no one swarms around them and leave.

When I joined, there were no forums or pm's or being able to see what pet I took. I remember quiting and everything was still like that, Haha. But When I was a a newbie back then I don't remember being obnoxious and such. I kinda always know my place being new to a website. (Specially since neooets. Their brutal if you step out of line) And I don't really see that now.. but I guess it does happen. And when it does you can't do anything about it really than to stay calm.

I read every single page of this 😊 And Yes, I once was a newbie (i'm still one i think..) And i'm caused "drama." with someone..NOT saying who.and I promised this person THAT will NEVER talk 'bout it again. But i have cause "drama.."

I agree with all of this! Though, I have to admit, whenever I see drama going on, I just stay out of it and keep to myself haha. I don't want to get caught up in it. Plus I am an adult and know how to handle such things. 😋

Yep, and Doovoos and Macbots. But that was when I had more extra money to spend on CSP creatures. Also, it got to the point where everyone was begging me for CC when I was trying to make it fair for everyone. ☹️

I wish I knew what became of all of those Onnies, Doovoos, and Macbots. I know at least one Doovoo died. >.>

Like blitz_x_celica. I guess she/he was feeling odd that day. That user led us in a complete and pointless circle, trying to garner sympathy and getting banned for stealing creatures.

He/she wasn't trying to garner sympathy or anything, they were just in it to steal creatures, plain and simple. The complaining and stories were only to scam people.

I got Tazine, my Whoon from them...I'm glad I got him before he was lost forever.

Yes, I remember blitz_x_celica... but also remember alex45678... the user that lied to us about her family dying in the tsunami of Japan while comfortably living in the land locked state of Ohio.

She also cursed at most 'oldies' for having rare pets... I still do not understand why she would try to do that to all of us eventhough she had a hacked foo, hacked 3 onnies, hacked macbots and hacked everything...

Actually...the agreement was with belle, I looked at alex45687's account and decided that for 2 days old, they had way too many rare/cc creatures (that weren't even available anymore) so I rejected their offer. Thanks though, now I don't feel so bad.

But yeah, since I'm so focused on a certain type of creature (aquatic), when I find rare eggs in the cave, I trade them out.

I've also started taking easily hatched eggs, such as Krah, hatching them, and then putting them UFT for newbies only. Getting that first egg hatched is so hard, I thought I'd help them out.

I sometimes also do that... adopted out a hatched horsca + full grown mekii once to a newbie. She seemed happy 😊
