Irascible raised his head to sniff for prey. He smelled another rabbit after a few seconds. He crouched down, this time watching for any leaves or twigs, and leaped on it. He bit it's neck to kill it and then walked over to Winter. He sat next to her and began eating. "Hey, Winter," Irascible began as he swallowed, "do you have any enemies? I mean- you couldn't right? You don't have the emotion of hatred.."

Winter shrugged slightly, "Well actually, I kinda do." She said simply, "I don't feel hatred towards them but I still think of them as my enemy, as they are the one that made me like this." She then stopped talking and continued to eat.

"They made you have no emotion?" He spat out.
He drew back a bit.

Winter nodded slowly, "Yeah, it's a long story." She said, her voice strangely slow and soft, it seemed almost like her emotions were trying to show, but couldn't. She just shook her head and went back to eating her squirrel.

Irascible widened his eyes. Was she showing emotion? He thought. No, she doesn't have emotions...
"I like stories," he sad as he waved his tail back and forth.

Winter raised an eyebrow, "Do you really want to listen to it?" She asked, her voice very plain and simple. She didn't want to go yammering her life story onto someone that didn't really care.

"Of course I do," Irascible smiled as he was finishing up his rabbit. "I mean, everything has something interesting in it, right? Don't worry, I'll listen." He said as he swallowed the last mouthful of his prey.

Winter nodded, "Ok, well the first thing you need to know is that I was born in a litter of 3 kits, me,my brother, and my sister. I was the youngest of them and my mother died giving birth to us. We never knew my father, for her had left before we were born. My sister left me and my brother when we were all a year old. It was me and my brother for about a year, and then he came..." she stopped for a few moments.

Irascible's ears were pricked up through the story. He waited to hear the rest.
Wow... her past was rough... He thought. I would never have lived without my parents raising me... no one would protect her...
He remembered how his parents were loving, and how they had raised him. Then he blinked at Winter, telling her that he was listening. Who came?

Winter knew he was waiting for her to continue. "His name was Calic," she began, "He was hurt when me and my brother, Red, found him. We helped him and gave him a home, he was my friend but Red didn't trust him. I ignored everything Red told me and I began to like him as more than just a friend." She said, she was now staing at the ground. "I thought everything was fine, that was until I woke up to Red yelling. I walked outside to find Calic standing outside, our whole supply of food behind him. He had tried to run away with all our supplies, and leave us there empty handed. It was winter and prey was already scarce, but Calic didn't seem to care. When I walked outside I watched him attack Red, and Red put up a great fight but it wasn't enough. The winter had weakened him greatly and Calic managed to kill him." Winter said, her voice become less calm as she spoke. "He tried to get away but I killed him, I was in so much rage that it wasn't hard. I tried to save Red but it was to late, so I gwntly went and buried him by his favorite river, and then I began to travel. I couldn't stay in that forest any longer, not with such bad memories. That day I left my emotions behind, I never wanted to feel that much pain again."

Irascible just stared at Winter, not believing what he had just heard.
Could someone be this cruel? He thought.
"I'm... so sorry..." It was all Irascible could think to say. Winter had no family left. They were either died, or far away. Irascible got up and sat next to Winter, thinking of something to say.

Irascible nodded. "Yeah... I know what you mean. I can never find a place to stay... Everyone is evil... this world... It's coming to something terrible..." He said as he looked up into the trees.

Winter nodded, "Yeah, I just try to ignore the evil in this world." She said shrugging. As she finished off her squirrel she got to her feet and began to walk off in a random direction, not even bothering to see if Irascible was following her.

Irascible sighed and followed her. "Do you even want me to hang around you?" He asked. He didn't want to hang out with others that don't want him. Irascible looked at the scar on his hind leg and growled at the memory of the sly fox that had scarred him.

Lilac walked around for sometime, she looked into a small pond. Her reflection sparked an insane memory that had been cast away in her mind so long, her family, her siblings. There had been so much happening, she couldnt stand it. She remembered whyshe left, and why she returned. Her mind swirled for a moment. Then the memory was pushed away once more, she had no intentions of bringing back anything painfull. She took in a deep breath and walked away from the pond, forgeting everything at the moments notice.

Moon strode over to a tree and sat down in the shade, the sun was at the highest point in the sky.

"Oh-" Irascible said as he realized that someone wanted to listen to HIS story for once. "Well... it started when my parents and my only sister were killed by wolves when I was 1. They were loving parents.. and that's how I know there was at least some good in the world my entire life. I walked to so many different areas... looking for another home. I only walked through a world of traitors and murdurers. I became good friends with a black fox... but he turned against me and gave me the scar on my leg." Irascible licked his leg. "I've been traveling my whole life- and it's rough- but I know that home for me is out there somewhere..." He said, looking up at the sky.

Demine walked away from Ria to let her sleep and walked through the camp. "Moon!" He said as he ran over to her.

Winter nodded, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your family, and how you were betrayed." She said, she looked liked she wanted to be genully sorry, but she couldn't. She gently rested her paw on his in a comforting manner and nodded slowly.

"Thank you," Irascible said as he looked back at Winter. He knew she wasn't sorry- she can't feel, but he saw how she wanted to be sorry and he smiled. It was nice how someone really care about him. Although Winter wasn't able to care..

Irascible nodded. "Yeah, the water just might feel nicer than it does in the summer. It's too hot in the summer." He said, sticking out his tongue. "What river do you want to swim in?"
