Could you guys please help out? It's due on Friday! My summer school teacher announced that if we create ONE sentence with these listed 20 words, we wouldn't have homework for the rest of the summer for English! I really want this, but I need help. The sentence has to be proper, and not be a run-on! It can be about anything, though. Please ping others ❤️ I might even have a nice gift for the one who gets it 😊 And the sentence can be as long as possible as long as it makes sense, and have all these vocab words 😊20 words:Intransigent - Uncompromising, StubbornIntrospective - Examining one's feelingsInundate - To floodInvective - Abusive SpeechInveterate - Firm in habit, Deeply RootedIronic - Using words to mean something other than what they seem to meanIrrevocable - IrreversibleItinerant - Moving from place to placeJudicious - Making wise choicesJuxtapose - To place side by side (Noun form is Juxtaposition)Kinetic - Active, livelyLabyrinth - A mazeLaconic - Using few wordsLament - To mournLampoon - To satirize, to mock, to parodyLanguish - To become weak, listlessLargess - Generosity, Philanthropy, Generous giving of giftsLatent - Unidentified ability, PotentialLaud - Extol , To praise, To applaudLegacy - A reputation to live up to, something handed down from the past@silver_winged@taffy789@chapus2009@pebblestar-nightclan@hedwig68

bunnyshadow • 2 August 2012 at 1:17 AM
@ladybugheart It's one sentence though xD
sunshinecat • 2 August 2012 at 1:31 AM
@bunnyshadow It's impossible to write a sentence with 20 words like that without it being a run-on sentence. I can try, though.
bunnyshadow • 2 August 2012 at 1:32 AM
@sunshinecat You can always use commas and colons xD i tried like 15 times and failed 😋
ladybugheart • 2 August 2012 at 1:36 AM
Karkat, an intransigent, kinetic, and laconic troll who was inveterate, had largess, and used invective, languishing after being lampooned for lamenting an irrevocable legacy, had judiciously itinerated after introspection and was ironically juxtaposed next to a labyrinth; he had the latent to inundate it, and did so, lauded by his friends.
sunshinecat • 2 August 2012 at 1:36 AM
@bunnyshadow Can you change the forms of words? (turning it into a verb etc).Edit: Oh, never mind then. Looks like someone has came up with something already.
linpug • 2 August 2012 at 1:37 AM
A intransigent laud used introspective inundate and usedIntransigent Uncompromising, Stubborn unvective and inveterate, which was ironic because of the irrevocable labyrinth that was suffocating from juxtapose itnerant and judicious who was a kinetic legacy kaud and latent largess meant lampoon and I rote this sentence not laconic.Erm yeah.... 😋
ladybugheart • 2 August 2012 at 1:40 AM
@bunnyshadowHappy? xD
hay7199 • 2 August 2012 at 1:40 AM
The Intransigent girl was Introspective her younger brothers feelings, her eyes began to Inundate with tears. Thats all I've got XP Sorry I couldnt be of more help!
bunnyshadow • 2 August 2012 at 1:44 AM
@linpug That makes no sense xD@hay7199 Thanks anyways 😱
ladybugheart • 2 August 2012 at 1:52 AM
@bunnyshadowHAPPY? O:<Lol. xDSo basically, Karkat was a stubborn, active troll that used few words. He was firm in habit, generous, and used abusive speech. Karkat was weak because some other trolls made fun of him for mourning an irreversible legacy. He wisely traveled after examining his feelings and was ironically placed next to a labyrinth. He had potential to flood the maze and did, and his friends praised him.Kinda weird, but whatever. >_>There may be a few errors with verb tense or stuff like that. I looked up all of the words to get a better definition. ^^ The name Karkat comes from Homestuck; feel free to change it. Although the sentence is long and seems like a run-on, I do believe it is proper. I may be wrong, though. If you find a mistake, tell me and I'll fix it!Ask me of you need more help. :]
taffy789 • 2 August 2012 at 1:54 AM
@bunnyshadow Uhh, use a compound-complex sentence with lots of adjectives? XD That, or impress your teacher with reasons on HOW it is impossible, if you can't think of anything. 😃 (Make sure you sound like you know what your talking about when you're telling her this, though. ;D )
ladybugheart • 2 August 2012 at 2:03 AM
I wanna make more sentences with these words now. xP I have to go to bed, though.
bunnyshadow • 2 August 2012 at 2:03 AM
@linpug It needs to be in one sentence xD@taffy789 NARB. I tried. And failed. Epicly xD
ladybugheart • 2 August 2012 at 2:10 AM
@bunnyshadowDo you want more sentences? ;D I can write more tomorrow if you want. I'm just bored. xD Although I still need to finish the last ten thousand words of my novel. 😋
snowrosehell • 2 August 2012 at 6:26 AM
@bunnyshadow - sorry for butting in.I think I may have encountered these words somewhere. xDD
duchess • 2 August 2012 at 6:37 AM
@bunnyshadow, 0-o Those words are really intense...I'll try to see if I can help 😊This is a proper sentence, but I'm not sure if it would count:Today I was asked to write a list of words: intransigent, introspective, inundate, invective, inveterate, ironic, irrevocable, itinerant, judicious, juxtapose, kinetic, labyrinth, laconic, lament, lampoon, languish, largess, latent, laud and legacy. I used all of them xD
snowrosehell • 2 August 2012 at 8:26 AM
@bunnyshadow - Ohh.. srsly? A sentence?!? That's impossible! You can make one but a run-on one. 😱
karamel • 2 August 2012 at 11:37 AM
@bunnyshadow An intransigent, introspective, itinerant and judicious boy was an irrevocable, kinetic, laconic person who lead an inveterate, largess and ironic legacy in which this boy gained laud and people quoted that he had latent - despite this, he began to inundate invective words and organized his things in a juxtapose way that formed a labyrinth, but because it took so long to organize his things in this way, he began to lament and languish and his supporters began to lampoon him.Wow o-o" I hope it made sense >.<"(Is it still a run-on sentence? My brain is dead because I haven't been working for a month xD)
silver_winged • 2 August 2012 at 4:03 PM
@karamelJuxtapose is a verb. And that sentence is a monster of a comma splice. XD@bunnyshadowBun! I'm back from my unannounced hiatus. ^^; I'll give it a shot . . . I just need a little while to figure this thing out.EDIT: I've got 16 in, let me just work in the last four . . .EDIT: Okay, let's see how this reads:Intransigent Uncle George, best known for his inveterate legacy of familial invective and his laconic, itinerant speech, surprised the family with his latent largess when he made the judicious, irrevocable decision to lament rather than lampoon his late brother; he inundated their hearts with an ironic and introspective eulogy that lauded Gerald?s kinetic spirit while juxtaposing it to his refusal to languish during his final days amongst a labyrinth of hospital hallways.
