I'm ranting here; go away if you don't want to "hear" it.

People keep treating my sister like DIRT! Just because she has autism, just because she's not NORMAL doesn't give you a right to treat her like freakin' GARBAGE! Leave her alone! I'm sick of it! And my neighbor, my best friend since she was old enough to play with me, is the one who treats her the WORST! Her little sister treats Lillian better than she herself does! All the older one does is yell at her for EVERY FREAKIN' LITTLE THING! I'm messed up enough right now; give us both a break! Just leave her ALONE! I want to be left alone! Please...

I agree with bunnyshadow, tell them to quit it. Tell them how you feel about it. She's still a person.

@whitefire

Who is bothering your sister? I will find them and beat the s*** out of them. No one has the right to be mean to other people just because they are different.

@WeaponX
Pretty much every person who thinks they're so "mature" at my age, as well as my neighbor (she's 9). I wish people understood...

@Meixiaotian
I have. I've told them, asked them, PLEADED with them, but they won't stop.

@BunnyShadow
Thanks! But my 9-year-old neighbor won't leave her alone at ALL. I'm sick of it!

@whitefire Like bunnyshadow, I agree. She is still a human being. Tell them, "Why are you hurting her when you don't even know her?"

@whitefire Just say "At least she has a better soul than you do!" or something like that.

Oh, and this is @cat.

@Chapus2009
Yeah. Lillian doesn't even understand what's going on, but she knows that they're trying to hurt her. They won't listen, no matter what I say.

@Cat / @Charity
Yeah, because she DOES have a better heart! Aside from hitting people when she's angry.

@WeaponX
Thank you... I think? XD

@whitefire: Wow... I really can't believe how some people can be so cruel... >.< You should bring your parents and a really big pillow when you go to their house. Then you can defend... >:-D

@whitefire - I know what you mean. I see people pick on people like that all the time, especially the ones with autism that actually affect how they function (as I'm assuming it does your sister?) or the ones who are mentally retarded (not an insult, it's the actual term). But if this friend of yours is treating your sister that way, they don't seem like a very good friend. :/ I have all the symptoms of a mild autism, Asperger Syndrome, though I haven't been diagnosed, but people, especially my parents, constantly laugh at me and harp on me about the weird issues I have (strange phobias, social awkwardness, etc) People don't understand and probably won't, all you can really do is tell them what you think of their bullying, and if that doesn't work, ignore them. I know that sounds harsh to do to a friend, but, like I said, that doesn't sound like a very good friend.

As nice as it is to have a place where you feel safe and comfortable enough to rant about personal issues, Egg Cave isn't really the place for them. Discussions and asking for help are fine but anger-filled rants do nothing but make others feel uncomfortable or angry for you. Let's keep Egg Cave a happy place, not full of anger.

There are many sites where you can start up a personal blog if you feel like ranting and getting your emotions out. Why not try out one of those? You can get out the emotions you feel and not create a hostile environment on Egg Cave. A win-win situation.
