Samantha walked through the forest, her arms prickled with goosebumps and her mind raced with thoughts. "What happened" Her voice broke the cold stillness of the cool air. There was the normal sound of frenzy's of bugs in the trees singing melodies. Sam disided to transform, her arms grew fur and became larger, you'd think her human arms where sticks in compairison. Almost instantaniasly she transformed into a large polor bear. Her eyes changed to green, glowing unnaturaly. Something golden came out of her back, armor. Over the years, the many shots and experiments made her grow golden armor.

She lifted her paw off the ground, below it was a footprint. She dragged her furry paw over it and the print disappered, then was replaced by a polor bear print. She walked slowly through the woods. Dispite the previos feeling of being cold, she became quite hot. Polor Bears are used to being in below 0 tempretures, so she got hot.

"Get up." Eytan had traced Terrin's retreating form go into the trees and now once again loomed over Alexin with a firm stoned face. "You've embarassed yourself enough." he stated flatly, beginning to walk away.

The albino managed to scramble up shortly and clamber up the hill after Eytan. The high collar of his coat, he kept pressed to the neck wound and his bleeding ear - the bleeding had stopped shortly and the pain had subsided to a sting. What was hrut was his dignity and mood. He regretted saving the bat - said animal had turned out to be an experiment and one that had attacked him and embarassed him afterwards, and in front of two superior hunters. As of now, he wished nothing more but to catch the experiment - he wasn't a violent person but couldn't help but hold a grudge against the bat.

Eytan walked ahead, rifle slung over his shoulders. He didn't pay attention to the footsteps padding on the ground behind him. He was too busy listening around for any noises, radar still clutched in his hand.

@jupiter_hollow LOL. If they see Sylvia on the radar, and they go to catch her, they'll just see an hunter. xD

Sylvia picked up the body with a grunt, before dragging it into the bushes where it would be hidden. Finally, she dropped the man with a sigh of relief, before she quickly walked away. She didn't want to be there when the body was found- IF the body was found.

Terrin rolled his eyes when his back was to the shifter and continued to walk around the pond, not caring if the stupid bat was caught and killed by now.
"Go away you stupid little-" before he could finish a gun shot rang and his head snapped over to where it sounded like it was from.

Terrin cursed in his head for not being able to insult the shifter.

Sam trampled over some long grass, her large polor bear body could be easily seen. She quickly, and smoothly, glided herself into a den. (Probly made by a grizzly or something) She lay down and got quite drowsy, but couldnt fall asleep, one of the side effects of the shots made it to whenever she fell asleep she once again became human.

Sylvia glanced around, searching through the black cape she now wore for some of the hunter's weapons. There were a few guns, and multiple knives, as well as a few other deadlies. He had more weapons than necessary.

Steve had disappeared, somehow. He wasn't walking alongside Terror anymore... the sun had set and the forest was eerily dark. Owls hooted and a large rodent had scampered over Laura's feet, enough to send chills up anyone's back. Ahead, a bush was rustling oddly, and after a minute of shaking, it suddenly froze.

Laura glanced behind her, noticing the annoying imp wasnt chattering away. He had disappeared, and she outwardly groaned. After all that fuss about staying with her, he now was gone.

The gunshots had rung loudly through the forest a few minutes ago and Eytan had dashed, dragging Alexin along with him to investigate quickly. They'd nearly reached the place, having gone through a few muddy ponds and a tricky rooted area or two, but had managed to go there in one piece, despite being muddy and tired. Alexin's pearly white coat, hair and skin now were stained with mud too, not only with blood. The albino was panting heavily.

"Must be somewhere here." Yin declared, sneaking past the thickly grown trees towards the spot. "Keep your mouth shut and quiet down." he said flatly to the other hunter and proceeded forward. Slowly, the fair-skinned teen proceeded forward.

Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, another boy also had troubles keeping orders too. Vincent stepped from one foot to another, eager to go off running again, instead of hiding in the bushes. "Can we just... move elsewhere?" he whispered shakenly, buzzing with the need to move, be active. He seemed ready to bounce off of his place at Tessa's signal.

For the first time in years, Logan breathed peacefully. He breathed in the damp, heavy scent of leaf litter through his large, dark nose. From the moment he had broken through the tree line, he had been grateful that his form wasn't something ridiculous like a tiger or a snow leopard. A tiger would have been shot on sight.

Now, he lumbered through the trees as quietly as possibly, dropping one hoof in front of the other. He would do best to find a source of water, and maybe a herd to stay with. He just had to blend in long enough. Despite the freedom of fur, he much preferred people food to grass.

Up ahead, a rustling in the low leaves caught his attention. He lifted his head high, swiveling his ears. A hooting noise followed it, as well as the sound of a frustrated human. Logan felt his muscles lock in fear. It was either another escapee or a hunter, and he didn't trust his luck for a second.

Act natural, he chanted in his head, trying to access the wellspring of elk-ness that HAD to rest somewhere in him. What did elk do if they thought they were being followed? They either charged or ran away. But which would be appropriate to this situation? He felt his breathing grow faster and heavier.

To Logan's horror, the sound of footsteps started up, and they were approaching him. Should he fight or flee? Fight or flee?

Before he had too much time to debate, the person was upon him. Feeling that his decision had been made for him, he lowered his head to display his antlers and snorted loudly, threateningly.

Laura skidded to a stop, in front of an Elk, from its scent. She stared, her eyes wide. Another animal, another freak. Another shifter to bother her. Its scent had the unmistakable tinge of human male.

Logan let out another loud snort, as menacing as he could make it. As he inhaled again, he realized that the thing that had approached him wasn't a hunter at all. It was just another girl in a prison jumpsuit. Another shifter?

Fear dissipating, he squared his shoulders and lifted his head out of charging position. Knowing he couldn't communicate in his state, he paused for a moment before shifting back to human form.

"Sorry," he said quickly. "Thought you might be a hunter."

Sylvia yawned, as she looked up into the sky. She hadn't noticed that it had gotten ark, and now that she has, she was sleepy. Suddenly, she stopped and whipped her head around to the right. She could have sworn she heard something coming from around there. Sylvia shrugged it off, it must be her mind. "I really need to get some sleep."

Logan narrowed his eyes at this girl. For being a newly-freed prisoner, was awfully testy. He had been looking forward to finding someone to maybe travel with, but if she was going to be like this . . .

He let out a sigh, and instantly all the frustration that had built up in him disappeared. He was far too happy to be angry with anything. "I'll let you on your way, then," he replied with a nod. He didn't shift back yet, though; he'd give her a last chance to be civil before leaving.

Logan stared off into the trees as the shifter dashed off. He raised an eyebrow quizzically. So much for camaraderie between fellow shifters. With that, he shifted back into elk form, and lifted his nose to the air. He still had to find that elusive water source.

The oddity of the whole situation continued to puzzle him. Why did that girl look like she was trying to get away from something? Or was it someone? Was there a hunter on her tail? Was he in danger?

Deciding not to delay any longer, Sylvia decided to take a quick nap. A few hours won't hurt anybody. She climbed up the nearest tree she could find, sighing in exasperation at the way the pieces of metal and the heavy boots slowed her down. Once she got up on a branch that would (hopefully) support her, she took off the black hat. Sylvia twisted her long hair above her head before putting the hat on again to cover it. At least now she looked a tiny bit more like the original hunter.

The experiment in disguise pulled the hat down low, and after a while, she finally dozed off.

Laura cursed, in a low, gutteral growl. She should have been more careful, she knew there were more shifters in these woods. She was like a lightbulb to moths, the way she kept bumping into other shifters.

Laura howled in anger, and sprinted faster. Running, leaping, and skidding around objects and turns. She just wanted to be left alone, just by herself. She glared angrily at the real world, away from her imagination. Her mutated form was a gift and a curse. She hated it, for making her not fit in, and embraced it, for it gave her the power and strength she craved and desired. She leapt gracefully over a boulder, landing heavily on all fours.
