If you're reading this, then congratulations. You're a survivor. I'm witnessing the destruction of your pitiful planet right now, as I compose this letter. You see, Earth was a threat to us, a BIG threat, therefore we destroyed it. Don't worry though, those of your species that were smart enough to escape have complete access of this portal. It leads to 5 planets all within the same solar system, capable of supporting life. Etervia, Noxia, Hybria, Zestia, and Varnia. And if you have a friend who gets transported to another planet, don't worry, there are many ships to choose from that will get you there in no time. You may be currently sighing with relief, I know I sure would be. However, sad as it may be, you all must die. We are going to be patrolling the nice little planets and hunting you down one by one. Only one person through the portal at a time please. Don't worry, you can get out of your pitiful Earth ship to pass though it, the area around it is a substantial atmosphere. You will be transported to a random planet of the five.

That is the message you hear flash through your mind as you enter a great sphere that is colored lighter than the rest of space. A great portal lies in the middle, with every color imaginable shining intensely. You and all the others cast knowing glances, everyone else heard the message too. After a long discussion, you all line up to pas through the portal. The N.A.S.A ship you were all crowded on can't pass through the portal.

Name: Alexandria "Alex" Hunter
Age: 16, almost 17
Appearance: Alex is tall for her age standing at 5'11", almost 6 feet, tall. She has pitch-black hair with crimson streaks/highlights. She has a long bang that covers half of her left eyes. She has tan skin and forest green eyes with a slight amber in them. She wears a black shirt and black jeans along with a rather nice leather jacket. She also wears black combat boots that come up to just above her shin. She snuck a dagger into her pack before lift off and hopes she can use it on the planet.
Background: Alex lived in a large family with her mom, dad, her sister, Christa, little brother, Jimmy, older brother, Joseph, her brother twin Sirius, and several dogs, including Bear. Her family was rather rich, her father being a Hollywood producer and all. She lived in LA, California her whole life, well that was until she heard what was gonna happen to the Earth. She got home to get a couple supplies to find her house deserted, except for Bear. She and her dog then hurried off to NASA and boarded the ship. She hopes that her family made it to safety, or at the very least one of them.
Pet you carried with you (optional): She owns a large black lab that from far away looks kinda like a small bear.

Name: Jessica Roe
Age: 16

Appearance: Jessica has silky blond hair usually cascading down her shoulders stopping at her chest, waves seeming to make it a bit more silky. She wears jeans, light blue tee, black hoodie, a gold choker necklace with two hearts connected, a pair of chestnut colored uggs completed the causal look.. Her eyes are deep ocean blue, lips are a red color naturally. Tanned skin complete her overall rough, but beautiful appearance.

Background: She lived in an overall wealthy family, gone to a private school, and had a large social circle. It all bored her to death, nothing had changed, everyday was the same until she found her golden retriever. Then, she was told that she had to abandon her home and family to survive. Sadden yet excited about the coming journey that would be treacherous. Jessica brought her dog with her.

Pet you carried with you (optional): Her golden retriever, Lacey, that wears a pink leather collar with diamonds on it and a heart shaped dog tag that tells her name, owner, and home.

Name: Keira Iscariot 'Kei'
Age: 17 (looks a tad bit younger)
Appearance: Quite plain and nearly unnoticeable. She's tall (which is always a bad thing when you want to remain unseen) and thinly built, to the point of nearly resembling a walking ghost, except that she lacks the whiteness of one. Messily tousled long light (nearly blonde) brown hair in hippy waves, white streaks going across it. Eyes are a very light brown mixed with yellow- resembling amber. She has quite the wardrobe. Nearly everything on her is mostly oversized or too loose, mainly hence the lack of clothes that fit her. Always with a scarf around her neck, pulled up to cover her nose and make her invisible even further. Hence, she often isn't heard too well through the scarf covering her mouth.
Background: Lived in quite a normal family. She grew up in a home with a lot of siblings. Though her parents weren't well-off, their house was constantly inhabited by many people, some staying over, others being relatives. Though she was an only child, Keira had always been surrounded by people and therefore is quite talkative and mouthy. Maybe a bit too sarcastic and jokative, but living around many boys does that. Most of her cousins were male and she was raised mostly by her father so despite her appearance, she isn't weak, neither is she stupid (though her family's finanical status didn't enable her to receive proper education). On the contrary, she compensates her lack of strenght with intelligence.
Personality: Carries herself awkwardly, but also pridefully so. She's strange and excessive, and not afraid to confess to it. Determined and stubborn, often sarcastic and snappy towards strangers, but it's quite understandable, considering her snappy personality. She has a bite to match her bark. Humorous, easily annoyed and usually holds witty comebacks.

I can't believe how hard it is for me to design a girl! XD

Amdis was one of the first to climb from his shuttle. He cautiously approached the portal. Certainly a lot better than dying in space. He closed his eyes and lurched forwards, finding himself on Hbyria. Arguably the most dangerous of the five planets.

Seemed like none of the others dared venture closer to the whirling space. The seemingly bottomless pit of darkness did seem a bit intimidating but nevertheless, it meant safety. Whereas few had risked hauling themselves inside, many were currently ready to do so. Yet none of them seemed to be brave enough to go.
Tucked on the back of the group, a girl with tousled chestnut-white hair pointedly stared at the gaping abyss below. She'd spent the past few minutes convincing herself it wasn't all that life-threatening.
Needless to say, that didn't work out well. She still stiffened at the thought of having to go through it.
That is, until a young boy, around her age maybe even younger, hauled himself in nonchalantly. The deed made her eyes widen, but also lightly eased her. Cautiously drawing forward, she now stood at the very edge, bracing herself for the 'dive'.
"Suicide day every day." she muttered under her nose and took a wide plunge inside.

Amdis looked around. This planet was very similar to Earth. All though life had evolved much differently. Apparently plants were the dominant group of organisms on this planet. Many of them being carnivorous and some evolving to no longer require roots, thus growing legs to walk.

Sitting in the furthest corner of the pod was a girl, she wore all black, the only nonblack she had were her skin, eyes, and red highlights, other than that, all black. She had watched the message very intently, cursing under her breath as it was mentioned they'd be hunted down and killed. She sighed, I wonder if I'll be teleported to the same planet as any of my family?" She sighed and looked at Bear, petting her, "Everything's gonna be alright, Bear." She murmured to the dog.

Bear had almost not been allowed on the ship. They said they wouldn't let a bear on the ship and didn't believed Alex when she claimed Bear to be a really large black lab. They had finally believed her after Bear had leaped forward and locked one of the man's face. Alex smiled as she remembered that ad she stood up, "Let's go." She told Bear and the two walked forward, after several other people, into the portal.

Everything whirled past her vision in a wash of psychedelic colors, light striped with darkness, stars passing by and a vacuum tightening her chest. It felt like going down a narrow tunnel with no air capacity. The oxygen seemed to run out rather quickly and she felt like suffocating.
Before that had happened, however, the bottom of the pit appeared, a strange planet emerging from below.
Letting out a shriek as she saw the ground coming closer and closer, Keira flailed, afraid of ending up a bloody spot on the grass.
Instead of a loud crash, there was only a soft thump and she felt herself land on something softer than the ground (way softer). Cracking one of her squezed eyes open, she discovered her cushion to be the black haired boy from earlier.
