Spearmint trotted out the door once more, leaving Cinnamon Dust inside. She turns to Cookie. "Heya! I'm Spearmint. What's yours?" she squealed, jumping around. Spearmint, being slightly clumsy, bumped into a neon orange pony. "Watch it, kid!" he yelled. Spearmint was very apologetic.

Sighing, she decided it'd be a good idea to head down to Ponyville and see how the town was doing. Since Pinky Pie had left, all the ponies were wearing big fat frowns, and Shadow didn't like it one bit. So she trotted out of her home and towards Ponyville.

She smiled "Did you hear of the missing ponies?" She frowned in thought of it, "What do you think happened to them?"

@neko-chan @sandstorm99 @sarahzafirah @creampuff @sstwinsLightning Bolt looked at the bright blue mare. "I do have tomatoes, they're half a bit each. How many did you need?" She began putting the lettuce and carrots into a bag for the black mare. "I don't know what happened to them." She said, using her wing to hold the tomatoes. Nopony wanted food that had been in somepony else's mouth, so Lightning was careful not to grab the lettuce in her teeth, instead choosing to wait until the tomatoes were in the bag before grabbing it. "What do you think?" She asked.

She thought for a second, and realized that the mare probably meant the authorities in Ponyville, not them specifically. "Yeah." She agreed, passing the bag to the mare. "By the way, I'm Lightning Bolt. What's your name?" She asked, before the unicorn could leave.

Spearmint's Mints--love those--And not much else." Shadow said to herself, and decided to buy some veggies. A salad would really hit the spot--even if Shadow had to make it herself. So she skipped over and hopped in line behind a blue mare.

@neko-chan @sandstorm99 @sarahzafirah @creampuff @sstwinz Pepper approaching! 😉 In my next post, probably.Pepper finished sinking the sword into the last pony model and wiped the sweat from his brow with his hoof. He put the sword back up on the wall, pleased with his workout. Pepper went back upstairs to fix up something to eat. Maybe just a tomato. For some reason, Pepper was always drawn to red food. Of course, he just happened to be out of tomatoes. Pepper decided that he should just go out and buy a huge bag of them, then he could eat them whenever he wanted.

XD"Mmph," was alll Cinnamon Dust could make out as Spearmint left the shop to see to the new ponies. He munched through the rest of the salad, sliding four bits unto the counter. He cared about his friends too.When he was done, he noticed a group of galloping stallions coming from the horizon. Hey weren't the ones who went scouting for the missing princesses..?

As she waited for the blue mare to decide on how many tomatoes she wanted, she saw some galloping stallions coming into town. Hmmm. Ponyville was usually a slow-paced town, ponies didn't usually gallop around unless they were late for something important. Those stallions must have known that they were making a scene. Lightning wondered who they were.

"Um... hi. I'm Cookie. I live in that little house next to carousel boutique..." She pokes at the house. "It's a little old... but i can make it look better with some help. Oh and which ponies are missing? I've heard that pinkie pie has left, but i haven't heard any news about that other ponies are missing..."@ems lol ok. 83

She knew the cucumbers were a little pricey, but they had been having a bad growing season. She then looked at the unicorn mare again. "That'll be three bits." She said. The mare introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, Cookie." Lightning said. "I'm Lightning Bolt. I heard that all of the Element bearers are missing. Did you want a bag?"

"Uh, I'll take a tomato and a head of lettuce then." She said, listening to her conversation with a pony to her side, apparently named Cookie. All the element bearers were gone? Shadow felt a bit of panic rise in her throat. What if Discord or somepony else came and screwed Ponyville up again? What would they do without the elements? This was certainly more serious than a few frowny faces it seemed.

"Could I have every pony at Town Hall immediately," she announced. "This is an urgent matter! Our scouts have just arrived from their journey, and they have important things to discuss!"Cinnamon Dust's heart jumped in excitement and worry. What could have happened? Did they found the Six and the Princesses? Were they alive? Quickly, he trotted after the Mayor.

Meeting were a big waste of time, and he had things to do. He trotted up to some bright white mare who looked like she was selling tomatoes and slammed down his workout bag. "Fill this with tomatoes. I can pay once you tell me how much."

Shadow said firmly, upset by this mean old stallion who merely shoved her aside (sorry if this is a god mod) and demanded tomatoes. Her eyes narrowed, and she dropped her bits back into her wallet, and glared at the stallion. "You're acting more like a colt than a stallion, sir." She said shortly.

"No one was ever nice to me when i lived in canterlot... anyway... if the Element bearers are missing... then what if something bad happens? What should we do? Um... yes please!" She starts shaking when thinking of it. "I think I need to go now. Bye!" She starts walking home.

This might be important!" she yelled, following after her friend.The Mayor was standing near a bunch of young pony scouts which consisted of mares and colts, and even a few foals. A mare who might have been the leader of the group trotted out of her position and spoke to the crowd of ponies. "My name is Oceanaria, and I am the leader of the Rescue Scouts Team." she said, before taking out a small, tattered diary along with a purple quill. "We found this near a bush. If anypony is a scientist here, please take a sample of the dirt found on the quill. I looked in the diary and Pinkie Pie has been writing it." Spearmint's heart skipped a beat.

She huffed, not even bothering to call this awful stallion 'sir' anymore. In Shadow's eyes, this stallion was no gentlecolt, and not kind in any sort of way. When she was pushed back, Shadow literally saw red with fury, but shook her head and gritted her teeth, waiting for somepony to back her up! This stallion clearly had cut in line and shoved her, and cheaters made Shadow furious. She had waited long enough only to get shoved back. Shadow was using her last two bits for this food!

When she got there Cookie saw two ponies fighting. "Hey... why are you two fighting? Can't just one of you wait a few minutes for your turn?" She put her earphones on and choose her favorite song while looking at those two ponies and waiting for her own turn. She started singing quietly to herself.

"And when I told him I was here first he shoved me. But... It's ok. I'll just wait. Again." She sighed and sat on her rump, trying to be patient. But with a cheater in front of her, Shadow was having a hard time being kind.

She said, not wanting to dampen the other mare's bright attitude by mentioning that she had no friends and that the song would likely make her cry. She wished for a lot of things every night, and a friend was in her top 3 wishes. She sat next to the bigger pony and felt hopelessly small. /Wonderful..../ She thought, /This is why they all ignore you. You're awfully small and they all think you're weak./ With her thoughts turned against her, Shadow felt even more alone.

I should stop talking now..." She looks at the ponies sad face. "Do you want me to change song?"

Her smile widened into a smile of true happiness. The song playing suddenly didn't make Shadow feel so blue. Somepony actually wanted something to do with her?! All Shadow had been told her whole life is how much everyone hated her. Was it not true..?

If Pepper had been weaker, and had complained to a mare like that, he would have been hit in the face. "That's life," he thought to himself. "The smaller ponies get protected while everyone else has to fend for themselves." But that was fine by Pepper. He had the skills to kill almost anypony with his front hoof, so he didn't need protecting. He turned back around, noting in fury that the mare still hadn't started. "Tomatoes, NOW!" He yelled in her face. She obviously didn't want any business with that kind of service.
