Batpaw emerged from a pile of soft clouds that made up the apprentice den. He gave his jet black wings a quick grooming, stretching them from time to time before looking around for Windleaf. He's usually diligent when it comes to training. "Good morning, Featherpelt," Batpaw greeted quietly out of respect. He could see Shallowstar coming out of his own den, but was a too intimidated to say hi.

Windleaf called out. "Snowdash! Would you please lead a patrol to go hunting? Out pile needs some stocking." He nodded toward the nearly empty stack. He gave Batpaw a quick nod. "We'll go train in a moment.." He quickly stuck his head into the medicine den. "Starpelt?"

Dawnrise replied with a smile. "Or we could try Cloudsky River? There tends to be a lot of fish during this weather." Maybe not.. the sky was dark gray with clouds, not a perfect day.

Batpaw flinched at Featherpelt's inquisitive question. He raised his paws slightly, as if oblivious of what the queen was talking about. "I um, well," he started, feeling silly of himself. "Windleaf is going to take me out training today," The apprentice looked at the direction where the deputy was. "I can't wait." He tried to sound calm, but it was clear that he was ecstatic.

Windleaf purred, stepping inside the medicine den. "I just wanted to... check how things were going? Need any help?" His eyes searched the neatly organized stacks of herbs..

Dawnrise grinned. "Well we're going where I want to go then!" She bounded off. "RACE YOU!" She yelled over her shoulder, then put on a burst of energy and adrenaline and she flew away

Moonkit raced into the clearing. Her favorite thing was to watch the warriors and medicine cat...she always forgets their name but they are fun to watch.

Snowdash snorted. Then suddenly, he fell down into stalking position and whom, he caught a pigeon! "You seem to have forgotten I'm the best hunter around here!" Then, he buried his prey carefully in the cloud and memorized where it was.
