Hehe, I'm just creating this topic for fun =3

I was pretty shocked knowing that the Chimeras, Krahs and Unhemns were endangered species earlier this morning (in my time zone xD)
Like... what (?!?!) o_O Seriously?! :|

I got a Chimera offer from the cave yesterday but I didn't take it xDDD Geesh!
I think Chimera can be foreseen as a retired pet, but not for the Krahs and the Unhemns though, that was super unexpected.

Anyway, what's your opinion? =3

Also, your predictions on the next endangered species? (Idk if this is allowed to talk about 😱) Because @orderedchaos said that she would be grabbing Alkubs and Niphas in case they were next 😱 So I though they'd be the number 1 suspects xD

Random: Anyone else realize that Krah backwards would be Hark? xD And with plural they'd become Shark. Lol! Epic!

Yeah, it was unexpected, they were too popular to be endangered, I think.
Also, I'm not their biggest fans but yeah ☹️ It's sad to see creatures going into the danger zone ☹️

Yay, I got a star Krah and star Unhemn. Glad I kept them. Should kept the star Chimera but I traded it for another star Tasma o-0 Sould maybe save stars commons for the future x3

Tis sad ta see them go though. I liked the Krahs and Unhemns not the Chimeras much though but I can live without them being in the cave x3 Don't really have a clue to what is next o-0

Lol, I don't think Tasmas are going to be endangered... :/
It is said on Cavedex that Wynerls and Tasmas are at the BOTTOM of the rarity category xD
So you should have no worries.

Hmm, I can live without those 3, but I think I might be a little pity on the Unhemn though, they look pretty on second thought.
And Chimeras >.< x-(
I should've taken it from the cave yesterday when I got the chance. Lol!

I've never had star creatures from the cave, I've only been gifted one Star Soltore =3 And the cave has been treating me badly lately T^T

I've 11 Unhemns luckily, 3 Chimeras and 2 Krah, so it's not that bad in the end... But wow, I'm a bit shocked xD

Yeah, it was actually a bit shocking. But I don't think Krahs will gain their values fast and much? Because of their ordinary and bland looks? :-/
Unhemns and Chimeras, possibly I guess!
Chimeras are pretty in the first couple stages.
And Unhemns were only good in the last stage in my opinion.

Unhemns for me were the best commons ;w;
But I guess Krah would be the most rare of these three cause people usually consider them as junk and few users have more than one, they're already higher in the ranking of the Archives if you check xD

Because they still look ugly xD

Unhemns weren't my favorite, ever, I thought there were some better-looking commons, such as Niphas, Floicols, Marlays, Iramaes, Mos,...
But oh well, everyone has their own opinion xD

I guess people will ask them a lot, like other endangered species... If something is rare, people want to have it bad, it's not really important the looks... Look at the Odons, they're not that pretty but after June people who hasn't get them will search one and in a couple of months you can sell them for good ECs....

Cool 😃 The most commons I have on my side are saved ones form the adoption center, so I'm kinda happy, poor little things... They had their revenge! xDDD

And just cause some people think a critter doesn't look all that great doesn't mean everyone else think that. I like Krahs x3 And Odons 😸 But yes, some people just wanna have something kinda rare though some honestly want one cause they like them c:

I adopted like 30-40 eggs at first, than make a side for them and decide to save the msot eggs I can form adoption center or from people who gave them away for quitting or dislike them...

I'm a sweetheart sometimes :'D

I got the (almost) same advice from someone else but I just forgot *facepalm*
They told me to grab as many Odons and Lissams I could xD
By now, I could've had 3 Lissams, 3 freaking Lissams you heard me! xD But I rejected the first 2 from the cave xD And AFTER THAT I got the advice =.=' And it was all like *_* *consecutive facepalms*

Lol, and yeah, the people are so weird @@
I'm not actually looking for ECs anyway xD Just hoping for pretty creatures I want xD

Oh, and I've never EVER seen anything in the Adoption Center xD I thought all the EggCavers loved their creatures so much that they can't bear letting them go xD Lol, I was wrong *gasps*

@immortalraven Hmm yeah, I guess I'm not experienced enough to understand and comprehend this whole thing xD And thanks, hopefully I'll get one for myself someday, somehow, somewhat, someway xDD

I want just as many creature I like as well, but sometimes ECs are needed, you can't know the person who has the one you want what desire for him, maybe 2-3 mil ECs cause he can get CC by himself xD
To leave an egg on adoption center you have to pay 4.5k ECs, so people store them in sides just to not pay the fee...
I've saved full hachted creatures, a Lissam, an Odon, and I've herad of people throwing away LEs and CCS too... But it's extremy rare xD

I think the idea of endangered species is good, especially with all the new creatures we get in return. That older ones retire after a time hightens the chance of getting new critters at the cave and that's a good thing, isn't it?

I also think though, that there should be a notice before a species is endangered and not available at the cave anymore. A site blog post saying something like: "According to studies of the Science and Research Center, *insert species name here* appear to have declined drastically in number...! Better catch some now, before they go extinct completely." That way, people who like the mentioned species can try to get a few eggs before they retire.

Any opinions on that?

I think the Nipha and Iramae are next to be in the danger zone... The older they are the larger the chance of the pet being retired. Others could possibly be the Obarn, which is from the same release as the Macaw. Ian never seems to retire any truly unpopular pets so Yeep, Flor, Garguaith, Alkub, Salaslyke and Crabbert are probably safe. Krah and Unhemn weren't really popular, but they were decent creatures.

I think retiring creatures is a necessary evil, but I hate the way it's being done. I really dislike the creatures being chosen, because so far most of them were pretty well liked. I also agree with @arabianninja, he should give a day or 2 for people to try and get the pets at the cave instead of just 'disappearing' them instantly. ☹️

EDIT: Sparktail, Whoon, Diablos and Mekii also seem likely options.

The Whoons would retire.
Is there a chance that the Taigrin, Rosse or Pyraguin would retire? Because I have hoarded a lot of them.
I also had a lot of these endangered creatures on immortal name holders so yeah, I can retrade them years after.
A relative of mine lost all their creatures which were bound to hatch by views. They forgot the Tims booking of their secret side containing tons of Caniges, Aosidhes so I cant wait till the revival stones get tradeable. And if Ian is to clear the dead creatures data anytime, he should post warning/precautions. Also, endangerment of species should also be post notified.

@dafni Yeah, I know, but I can earn ECs pretty quickly? Because my computer runs quickly xD And I'm not all too lazy to feed, so I think I'll get the ECs by myself.
True, I've seen someone putting a Leroon UFT with a price of 2,7mil 😱 I only had 700k when I saw that xD
Lol, but now I'm completely broke T^T I paid 650k for the Luciales, Gingerlion and Trovantis on my account, I thought it was a pretty good trade, I'm planning to earn more ECs, learn more about trading things then get on to it \m/

@dionaea Lol, I'VE BEEN DYING TO GET A NIPHA, the Cave has been really mean, no Nipha eggs offers since the day I joined ☹️ And I was also thinking of getting an Iramae xDD Lol, and there's no way in heaven that I would get Yeep, Flor, Garguaith, Alkub, Salaslyke, Crabbert, Sparktail, Whoon, Diablos and Mekii even if they were retiring, I just don't think they're pretty enough? I'm really picky on looks xD

And definitely, you can't just... go around and tell that the species is endangered and there's no way to increase population xD That's just totally unfair. A small notice would be nice, like @arabianninja said.

What is this about krahs being ugly?! I think they are wicked looking, especially in last stage.

I also don't think sparktails will be next, (not sure who said it) taht's a more recent one.

My guess is an Alkub will go next.

My OCD only allows me to have one of each creature, but I do have one of all three of the endangered. Yay! 😃

Hmm, endangered species things only happen once in a blue moon, so I guess there's plenty of time until the next happen, but still, pretty nervous after this one xD
