Wow the person you traded with is very reasonable.
Honestly I'd ask for all back except the Shaibun, Florn, and a Luvlei or Nym.
That sounds fair since Gobblers are rare also.
But aren't there more Gobblers than Shaibun or Florn?

Try to get the LE's back since their frozen. The non frozen LE's let them keep (x
But this is just what i would do.

@maineen Yes you used a lot of CC BUT in theory the Gobbler has become worth more CC because it is older. TBH it's probably the 4th rarest egg in Eggcave and will become rarer... the only thing that might have been an over-offer (IMO) would be all the Flarens, Olimpt, and Goblar. Perhaps the two Nyms.

I really don't think you should ask for it back, it's kind of not trade etiquette but they might understand. Gobblers are scarce and you're lucky to have one XD

Gobblers were available from November 25, 2010 to November 26, 2010.
Florn were available from December 8, 2009 to January 1, 2010.
Shaibun were Available from April 4, 2010 to April 9, 2010.

More people were on here when the Gobbler came out.

Edit: Its a lot more rare to see a Shaibun egg or Florn egg than a Gobbler egg.

I think it is reasonable to leave a trade the way it is, but in your case it seems it's mainly about you wanting your Luvlei back. I think it's not unreasonable to ask your Luvlei back, but you should leave the rest as is and learn from it (I've made worse mistakes while trading, believe me). And remember, Lexa does have the right to refuse to return it, because in essence all trades are final, so the Luvlei and all others are hers now.

But idk I've never kept track of creature values 0_o I have an opinion of what makes sense to me but trading doesn't really follow a pattern so it always ends up depending on who wants what XD

I'd say that this was an over-offer.

Two Nyms are worth 500 CC, so that's $10 right there when the Gobbler was worth 500 CC on Thanksgiving.

The Luvlei was also worth 500 CC, so you spent $15 now.

Two freezes are also worth 500 CC, so that's now $20. Plus another freeze would be about $22.50

Shaibuns and Florns are worth A LOT just together. I think you should at least get something back.

You forgot the Mummar (CC & Frozen), there are 4 freezes in there, so it's 3000 CC...

@maineen - Sorry to go against the tide here, it seems... but I think your offer was reasonable for a frozen first stage Gobbler. If it were last stage, I'd think it was an over-offer (particularly with the Florn)... but since you now have the 'Second Hardest Type of Gobbler to Get' - only beaten by the Gobbler egg - well, I think it seems like a fair enough trade.

But it seems I'm in the minority, so hey... maybe I'm wrong? I dislike 'objective' rare trades anyway. Isn't how much you *want* a creature more important? I've purposefully over-offered on past trades (sometimes it was a HUGE over-offer), but I wanted the creatures very much... and I feel that's worth it. 😊

To be honest, I don't think it should matter too much as to what you offered if the Gobbler was a creature you really wanted. If you're having second thoughts about what you traded, then maybe the Gobbler wasn't as important to you as you first thought.

Personally? I think it's fair what you offered, providing that you're happy with the creature you've got in return. 😊 I love Gobblers, I'd gladly over offer on one and not feel any type of regret over it.

But I don't think my opinion counts for much, I'm one of the worst traders on egg cave (I traded a Foo and Florn for a Chiye... yeah. T__T) so you should continue to ping people and gather more informed opinions. ^__^ Good luck!
