@maineen well my friend traded 2 gobblers for a doovoo. Do you think your trade X2 is worth that? I haven't been here too long, so I may not know too well, but personally, (cuz I'm a stingy person) I think it's a LITTLE too much.

Ask @candy_girl_1298 or @redfire77 for advice. They've been here a lot longer, and know much more 😊

Er, well I don't get this whole deal with Gobblers and why people obsess over them so much but going with how many people seem to want one...
It may have been a bit over, I say that the two frozen flarens were a bit too much.

@maineen hmm, I think this is kinda an over offer because Gobblers were only $5, and you offered something worth more than that+very rares, but, because they are SO rare and everyone is asking SOOO much, I think it's pretty good 😸 And it's also frozen! 😊

Well, it may be an over-offer, but if you really wanted the Gobbler, it's worth it. ^^

@maineen

I cannot add anything that has not already been said in this conversation. The users that are stating it was an over-offer are doing so because they personally would not trade those creatures for a Gobbler. The decision comes down to whether you believe its worth it or not. Creature "values" are entirely subjective.

At the same time, I hope you realize that @lexa is acting super nice in this situation. πŸ˜‹ All trades are final so be extremely grateful if she does send some creatures back! 😊

Personally, I would not say it was an over-offer. Gobblers were only available for about 3 days and I've traded much more for one because I believed it was worth it. πŸ˜‰

Hope this helps!

@maineen it depends on the person if they find Gobblers cute or not, i find them a bit of a waste of pixels πŸ˜‹

Don't hurt me! *hides from all the Gobbler-fans*

Still, it was a bit of an over-offer i'd seriously suggest you re-negotiate with the pre-owner of the Gobbler :]

@maineen

Hello ^^

I regret to say that it was an overoffer with all those CCs and retired pets... Your offer was more than 2500CC whilst the gobbler was 750CC.

I, personally, wouldn't have traded. However, if you think you did the right thing, good for you. ^^

Hope this helps.

This thread was educational. I'm surprised by all the comments that only boiled it down to CC value. I mean, the Onny was only $5... but I doubt anyone would say that a $5 Ribbert would be of equal value. πŸ˜‰

@peppermintcowboy no one would EVER say that

@lexa

I just have to point out something.
Some people, and I think most of these people do not have gobblers, say that gobblers are worth so much la la la with CC and stuff.
No matter how many of these people say it what worth it, I wouldn't trade a gobbler for that amount, no one with a gobbler would trade it for that amount, and those people will simply never get a gobbler πŸ˜‹
And on that note, here's your Luvlei! πŸ˜ƒ Lot #37221

@peppermintcowboy
I would rather have my nym then an onny.
I would only want an onny to re trade.
Their cute, but just because their rare doesn't mean I want one like everyone else /:

@chatial - I agree, I don't like Onnys much either. But that's my point. Strictly judging a creature by their CC value doesn't make any sense. Trading is more complex than that. 😊

Yes, people want a Macbot or Onny or Doovoo because of their rarirty, not because the really like it. >___<

@peppermintcowboy
Well spending real money does make a difference.
However, people will offer $20 worth of cc for a tine.
Is it because their rare or because their cute?
the world may never know

@chatial

Well, because it's rare, people's minds are hypnotized to think they're cute. 😱
