The Outcast Creatures

Have you ever heard the phrase "Hurry! Eggs have been known to mysteriously disappear!" Do you know why?
The Outcast Creatures are constantly on the lookout for new members. Most creatures would rather a nice life with a guarantee of being fed. But some have not forgotten their fighting spirit. By night, they steal eggs to bring back to their base, which is a cave that closely resembles the well known one. It is on the side of the volcano.
There are all types of creatures there, but they treat each other like family.

Liareen slithered into the cave as fast as she could. "Humans!!" she shouted. "Hide!"
Creatures dove into bushes or flew into the air. Liareen backed into her favorite hiding spot, which she picked because she could still see what was happening in the cave. The humans were looking around, turning over rocks and pawing through leaves. Liareen was almost angry enough to bite them. They were kicking her nest! Instead, she backed further away, listening. "I thought there were supposed to be five in plain sight!" one human was saying. "Look! There's one!" One of the other humans dove for a Zebbit egg that hadn't been hidden. The human scooped up the egg and left, the others following him. As soon as they were a distance away, Liareen slithered out. "We need to rescue that Zebbit!" she cried.

"I'm on it." said Cory. She flew in pursuit of the human with the egg. She then swooped down and tried to snatch the Zebbit egg. Instead she dive-bombed the human by accident and her talons hit his face. He dropped the egg and she swooped down and caught it. She then flew into the cave.

Dark-one laid on a high flat rock to stay out of sight. She watched as the humans ran, she jumped in front of them to stop them With the zebbit egg, the humans jump back. She started growling at them when a another creature dive and took the egg and zoomed to the cave.
" HAY, THAT WAS GETTING THAT!" she yelled angerly.
Growling She jumped into some bushes and dashed deep into the woods.

Liareen glided back and forth in the mouth of the cave. When Dark-one and Cory came back, she sighed in relief. They had the Zebbit egg. "Do you think the humans will come back?" she asked nervously.

Bandit wandered back to the entrance of the cave they all called home, weary from travel. She had been tracking down an egg for the last few days because one particularly fast human took off, and had made it back into the city. The egg had been recovered though, so with the egg in her bag she arrived home.

"Anything new happen while I was out?" Bandit asked.

Spud lazily lounged on a small tree limb that somehow grew inside the cave.He quickly heard that a human approached the cave and snatched a Zebbit egg.He silently watched as Cory recovered the egg. "Geez humans have been attempting to steal eggs more than usual." He said outloud to anyone that heard. Spud then looked at Corey who suggested blocking the cave. Spud frowned a little bit jumping off the limb of the tree and walked towards the group. "If we do attempt to make a blockade wouldnt it take a while since the entrance is so big?" he asked confused. Spud then continued "Even so we should also build traps to prevent the humans from getting close enough and destroying the blockade while its still being constructed." He said flatly waving his tail back and fourth like a dog.

"Bandit, humans tried to steal an egg and I suggested making a blockade." Cory said to Bandit. "And Spud, maybe we should have animals guarding near the entrance to stop the humans from destroying the blockade if they return. We should have someway of getting through too, but we can't let humans be able to."

Spud looked at Corey and said "We could probably make an entrance at the top of the cave that way we could get in and out anyways I`ll guard the entrance then,and make sure no humans get near the cave." He said before scurrying off outside hiding in a small bush awaiting for any humans that dare to approach the cave.

"A blockade sounds like a great idea. I agree that there have really been far too many humans around lately. I'll go get as many things as I can find to help construct the barrier as soon as I hide this egg." Bandit told the group.

She trotted off deep into the cave, searching for the very best hiding place for this egg. It was special to her because she was given it by an aguaille that wanted a different life for her egg and so Bandit had promised to look after it.

Once the egg was hidden, Bandit raced off into the surrounding forest to find debris for the blockade.

Liareen slithered through the forest collecting sticks when she heard voices. She quickly wound herself up a tree to see who it was. More humans!
"I already got the first achievement," one was saying.
"Yeah, I'm going to come back tomorrow," another one said. "I want those new creatures!"
Liareen almost fell out of her tree. There were so many humans because there was a plot going on very close! Then she began thinking. A blockade seemed so much work compared to trying to sabotage the event...but that was dangerous. Still thinking, she raced back to tell the creatures what she had learned.

Bandit was almost back to their cave dragging a large branch from the forest floor, when Liareen slithered past her so quickly, Bandit knew something urgent had come up. She dropped the branch and took off after Liareen to find out what had happened.
