The government has collapsed. A war over resources started and the world was destroyed. It was a nuclear war. In the U.S, the southern side took the least amount of damage. However, while the earth was disfigured from nuclear war, people tried to continue on.

The radiation effected many people. Mutations occurred, and it is thought that a very rare occurrence turned a mutation into something more. That is not what some people say though. They say it's a gift given by Earth. Earth cursed eleven lucky babies with these "gifts". You were one of those babies. And, supposedly, when you realize your true powers, you will be able to start the healing process for the world.

In this RP, there are eleven people with gifts, which limits the members to eleven, though I doubt it'll get that high.

Terrakinesis- The ability to manipulate rock, stone, and dirt.
Advanced Form- Manipulation and creation of magma and metal. Ability to manipulate earth farther away, allowing the activation of volcanoes.

Aural Manipulation- The ability of astral projection, or having one's soul leave their body. This makes them vulnerable, however. The ability to shape ones aura into a weapon or armor.
Advanced Form- The ability to enter another and control them or read their thoughts during astral projection. The ability to borrow part of the aura of another living thing, gaining some of that things traits.

Biomorphing- The deliberate transformation into any living thing.
Advanced Form- The deliberate transformation of only a part of one's body into that of another.

Therianthropy- The unconscious transformation into an animal. Effected by seasons, time of day, weather, etc. Exhibit traits of the animal even when not in animal form.
Advanced Form- Limited control over transformation.

Sonokinesis- The ability to manipulate sound waves. They can become such a high frequency, they are inaudible and actually take on a physical form, becoming destructive.
Advanced Form- The ability to create sound waves.

Advanced Form- Ability to control sparks and the electrochemical synapses in the brain allowing control of emotion or essentially turning off somebodies brain, inducing a coma or death. Ability to break or create chemical bonds by moving electrons in atoms.

Advanced Form- The ability to manipulate gaseous forms farther away, allowing the creation of full sized tornadoes. The ability to ionize gases, creating plasma, AKA fire.

Botanokinesis- The ability to manipulate plants.
Advanced Form- The ability to control fungi and immunity to poisons. Telekinesis on small parts of plants, such as leaves, wood, berries, needles, etc.

Electromagnetic Spectrum Manipulation- Ability to control the electromagnetic spectrum such as radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet light, x-rays, and gamma rays. This give abilities such as infrared vision, illusion creation, x-ray vision, and radiation manipulation.
Advanced Form- Ability to control electromagnetism.

Name: Izzy Callis
Gander: Female
Personality: Though she is naturally quite attractive, Izzy usually only wears the typical eyeliner and mascara; not caring to flaunt her appearance any further. Izzy has sort of a hard demeanor and is not easily brought to tears. If someone tries to mess with her, you can be sure that she'll send it back to them ten fold. She enjoys being 'one of the guys' and typically doesn't get along with other girls her own age, seeing that she thinks that most of them are two-faced and conceited. Izzy doesn't care what people thing about her so she typically lives by her own rules. Often not one for sappy romance and such, she tries to avoid relationships. Her father had always taught her to take care of herself and he wasn't the most reliable father. For that reason, and because she had never even met her mother, Izzy had come to be very independent and afraid of commitment.

Name: Gardian Lazul "Catalin"
Gender: Male
Personality: Pride and virtue are the main aspects of his character. Ironic that the two aren't healthily compatible... His pride is his biggest vice, although he strives to achieve it to the fullest, convinced that self-respect (in his case, however, it borders on egocentrism) is the key to all virtues.
Appearance: He looks strikingly noble and pure; though definitely lacks the innocence. Catalin has a headful of golden curls, matching his olive skin. His heritage is unknown, though his features look fairly exotic, enough to rule him out as a boy of color. Catalina blue eyes (hence the nickname), lightening almost to light blue on the inside, rimmed white around their pupils. He has a striking gaze, often enhancing the emotions present on his face; mostly anger, which gets tenfold multiplied by his icy glares. He's tall and lean, well built, chiseled body accentuated by a princeling posture -- the puffed out chest and raised chin are ever present in his stance.

@ilovedoctorwho Oh yea, sorry. I might let you have more than one character after we have more people. Right now, there isn't enough people, and I want people to enjoy their characters, so I want to keep as many powers open as possible.

Gender: female, like all of my RP characters
Personality: shy towards people she does not know, but once you get to know her she talks 1000 mph, finds herself to be an outcast and often says to herself that she is worthless for she lives under the philosophy that if you think you are worthless, you will keep trying to prove your worth, can take offense easily
Appearance: dark brown straight hair down to her waist, average height, vivid green eyes, hates makeup so she has none, has a slight tan, usually wears plain clothes

Not sure. :/ I'm personally fond of Atmokinesis and Electromagnetic Spectrum Manipulation, but I don't know how that would aid your choice since it all really depends on your opinion. xD

Name: Shawn Sherman
Gender: It's a boy! 😱
Personality: Shawn is not the brightest of his brilliant family members but he shows a kind heart. Known to be loud and irritating, Shawn doesn't have many friends. He tries to be more socially acceptable but he doesn't have the heart to change from who he thinks he is. He likes to think he holds high his ability to forgive easily but he is often jealous of other people.
Appearance: Shawn is dark-skinned and not especially fit. He has a scar on his shoulder from something quite lame, like burning himself with a hot pan and not something awesome like saving himself from a mutated attacking animal. His short but long hair is black and curly, coils often hanging in front of his eyes. Small brown eyes, barely-there freckles, large rounded nose and small teeth sort out his face.

@jupiter_hollow I have no idea which one to choose. I guess I'll go with EM Spectrum.

@skylark Well, they have have to learn what their true power is. It's kind of like when they make an ultimate sacrifice for the good of the Earth, they kind of realize what their powers can really do and become stronger. I don't think I explained it that well, so if your still confused, can you explain more about what you don't understand.

Name: Magnus Fulmore
Gender: Male
Personality: Magnus always cared about his grades when school was still in session. He isn't that smart, but always takes time to assess the situation, even if it's too his disadvantage. Magnus was, however, very concerned about his fitness. He's been on nearly every team and played nearly every sport that has been available to him. He's strong, but even more than that, he's really fast. He's also very outgoing and won't act shy towards anybody, even if they seem to hate him. He can get very jealous of people though.
Appearance: Magnus is a little under 6' tall. He is pretty fit. His light brown hair isn't too long, and sweeps left above his forehead. He has dark brown eyes, and his skin isn't very dark, but a little tan. Magnus usually wears a t-shirt or hoodie and shorts.

Oh, I see. Whoops, I wasn't very clear! I meant what do you mean by not letting our characters recognize their powers right away? When will they learn? How will they learn to control them?

@skylark Okay. I just meant don't let them realize their true powers too early into the RP. There isn't a specific time when they'll realize/learn their true powers, it'll just kind of happen. But if you want your characters to learn their true powers, check with me to see if it's okay before you do.

They might already know how to control their powers. Depending on how long they've known about them and if they use them, they might or might not know how to control their powers. As for their true powers, that just magnifies their current powers and adds another ability or so to it. When you look at their powers, where it says Advanced Form it shows what additional abilities they'll receive when they realize their true powers.

So your character can only control water right now. However, when she makes a great sacrifice for Earth, she will learn her true powers and be able to control ice and air (if it has a high enough humidity).

@skittlejg I see! That clears up so much, thank you! So, to put it simply, there's two stages of power wielding and the first stage is their current powers, which for Shawn would be controlling only water. And as more sub-stages get added, like different kinds of liquids the stronger Shawn gets. And when his power is big enough, he learns his true powers which are all the fancy stuff like controlling ice and air. Right?
