So I noticed there is A LOT of overlap in the powers. Is that intentional, or...? (Just wondering because this sounds fun)

@poe What do you mean was that intentional? I mean, I knew that some of the gifts had overlapping abilities when I wrote them, but there wasn't any reason for it, some of the powers were just similar.

Name: Pele Feuerstein
Gender: Female

Personality: When she was younger, she had a pretty bad temper, but it dissipated as she matured. Now, she's very calm and collected, but that temper can really explode if something pushes her. She loves being outside, being active, and rock climbing. She's very good at it, and used to climb with her older brother (Farran) all the time, but he moved away for university and they grew apart. She also loves books and other methodical activities that require concentration. Sometimes, she just likes to relax and listen to the earth. She really is her own person, doing what she loves, looking how she wants, and just being who she is.

Appearance: She's a tall one at 5'9" and she owns it. She's always standing with good posture. Her hair is dark brown and her skin appears tanned, since she's half Hawaiian. Her father is European, though, so her hair has a loose wave and curl to it and her features aren't distinctly Hawaiian as a result, either. She has soft eyes the colour of cold metal. She wears airy looking clothes often, though sometimes she just throws on a tank top and rolls with it. She wears the just-got-up look well, though during the week and when she goes out she takes pride in looking good.

@poe Yea, it's South Carolina, which is the name of a state, not just the southern portion of a state called Carolina. Of course, I don't how how well you know the U.S. States, but...

And I don't think we're in the same town, but I imagine that I'm in the northern Myrtle Beach area (look at a map) so you guys would be somewhere near me. I live on the beach, but I don't know about you guys.

Start anywhere in South Carolina, I guess. As skittlejg said, he's starting in Myrtle Beach, so for the sake of interaction, you might want to be close to there.

Or, my character has started on a mountain on the border between North Carolina and South Carolina, and she'll be driving down that way. If you want your character could meet mine by way of needing a ride, and she gives her a lift or something. (btw I'm gonna say there's a remote gas station Pele uses and that's why she's driving. Lol)

And on the topic of first person narration, I might switch out of it because it's not really my thing. XD Not sure if there's a rule about that, though.

I know that problem. One time I forgot that it was almost 2 am and I was like, hey I should print a thing for class! Then afterwards I was like, wow that was loud I hope I didn't wake anyone up... No one mentioned it, so. Lol Can't wait till more posts happen!

@jupiter_hollow Aah! I didn't even realize I was doing first person, I just kind of did it... You don't have to.

Anyway, so here's how it's going to go (and yes, this plot is pretty similar to an unnamed book that probably none of you have read). We were all born in SC, and we'll later find out more about our birth, but it was at the same hospital on the same day, I'll tell you that. And what I'm thinking will happen is this guy will kind of kidnap us and train us to use our powers and live in nature and survive on our own. And he'll tell us we need to save the Earth and stuff, but he's going to be evil. You find out more as it happens. *spoiler* If you read my post, the people chasing him were people trying to kidnap him. 'o'

And he probably won't go to a gas station because there is no electricity in most of the country, and even where there is, they don't have any oil or gasoline.

@jupiter_hollow My character already knows about his powers, they don't have to learn about them during the RP. My character knew about his powers before the RP began.
