I'm down with seeing how this goes! I can't wait to see the messes we all create! I can honestly think of a bazillion ways to injure people with most of the powers we have out here. But electricity is a pretty nasty one. XD

I think an interesting theme we might end up creating whether intentional or not is making decisions about how to use the nasty powers the characters have. O.o

I haven't quite decided how Pele and Joshua feel about how they should use their powers... I think I'll just let the crumbs fall where they may. We'll see how the plot develops. Gosh I'm excited to start developing the powers! I've got some fantastic ideas about what I could do with Joshua. And some silly ones: Snaps fingers -> music plays. He's like a radio! XD

Oi, I made Cornelia and Jack based on one image I imagined, of an oder boy telling a younger girl 'The blinkies 'Nelia. Use the blinkies.' and said girl discharging and killing a lot of people. xD The blinkies, of course, being electricity. One night, little Jack crawled into little Cornelia's bedroom, all bleeding leg and tear-streaked face, and begged her to kill the bad people with her 'blinkies'.
Or was it sparks? Not sure. xD

That's a cool image! I feel like I understand a lot just from that. Or maybe I don't, even though I think I do. I tend to think in strange ways like that, actually. Like I'll just get all kinds of imagery for things.

Oh to find the words for it. XD It seems like Jack is caught between self-interest, lack of understanding his sister fully, and somehow still always trying to look after her. But always focusing on what he thinks/wants for her, and maybe not what she actually wants. Using her, but wanting to help her. Or maybe I don't know. Like just sometimes words, you know?

I know the block feels. I get it more with art and essays than creative writing.

He's entirely focused on her and is trying to get her to become her old self instead of this closed up doll that doesn't feel a thing. He doesn't know what she wants and he doesn't assume what she wants, but he showers her with his own love and then tries to get other people to shower her with theirs. He's not self-centered xD And he's a very lovable brother. She does need socializing but her habit is to hate/push people away. She was previously scared of hurting them with the blinkies, but now that she has some control over her power, she's got nothing to worry about.
He makes friends only because of her and not because of said friends and literally dumps them/abandons them upon first implication that Cornelia dislikes them.
I guess I worded it wrongly, but he is obsessed with finding out what she wants and is pretty clingy to her -- not in a selfish/using way, but in a lovable way.

Hrm... in leer words: If she died, he would want to be buried along with her.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I see! From the first post he seemed less loving and more using. But that one makes more sense. He sounds like a handful for Cornelia. XD

@poe Actually, the thing you said about snapping is kind of what I had in mind. Because he can't create new vibrations until the advanced form, only change existing ones, I was actually thinking that he could snap or something and then amplify that whenever he's fighting. XD

@poe XD I was imagining it more like he was throwing something, but snapping. Kind of like throwing him arm out to the side and snapping as he did so. I guess he could scream or something too, but that's kind of lame. XD

(Too EXCITED now! I can't wait to write a scene where he starts walking away all sassy-like then pauses and turns slightly, giving a small smirk, then like you said, a flick of his arm and a snap of his fingers, total destruction of something as he continues walking like nothing happened.)

@skittlejg @poe I'd pay to see dat >w< Also I don't know why but imagine him breaking out from somewhere (the fascility where they're held?) and someone singing the alarm -- he turns around, chuckling at their idiocy then silently amplifies the alarm so much it becomes a freaking sound wave, that destroy the entire building.
No snap needed, though it would be cool xD

So Joshua progressively becomes a more aloof and cool dude than he was originally, but I'm diggin' it. When I draw his picture now, I'm gonna try my best to draw him looking super cool and snapping. XD

I love what you did with Catalin.

I can't help myself. I've got to say I'd like to see more details in Jack's eyes. And if you're concerned about Cornelia, the problem is in her chin a little and her jaw a little, but also her eyes. They're a little manly. And maybe that's the opposite with Jack? Lol more detail in the shape of both eyes would probably stop their manly/girly issues in their tracks.

But you can entirely ignore that if you don't care. I'm just obligated to say it because... I actually don't even know.

He cares about his appearance -- she doesn't. =3

Also what? 0_0 Jack has a normal chin and Cornelia has a similar chin to his (because they're kinda brother and sister) and same jaw. I'm sorry but I'm not gonna draw her (she, who does not take care of her appearance, nor her attitude and she who actually has genes similar to Jack) purposefully more gentle-looking and girlish, considering she is meant to have a rough look despite the blonde hair and light eyes. And I won't draw him (he who does his best to look his best to attract more people with an attractive appearance) like a manly male. ^^" They're a bit more 3-dimensional than that and let's not forget normal people also sometimes have less gender-orientated appearances. =3

I wouldn't have posted them if I wasn't content with them... I may not show my drawings a lot, but I do draw a lot... Okay? xD

Edit: I take art advice as an insult, generally. xD And I would take it on any colored drawing or unthemed one, but drawing characters is what I'm good at. xD

I REALLY didn't mean for it to sound like a criticism. You ARE good at what you're doing, and I never meant to say otherwise.

I personally absolutely adore the way you drew Cornelia, no word of a lie. I'm aware that faces come in such a variety it's crazy. I wouldn't support changing her at all, it's just that I've seen so many people say things like "lol she looks manly" or whatever and then ask what to change. I am so sorry. Seriously.

And I can tell you draw a lot. It shows. XP
