The egg continues to rumbles and eventually hatches after more waiting. The creature survives for about 2 minutes but doesn't make it.

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.

The shopkeeper pulls out a sketchy-looking vial labeled Experimental Super-hatch Serum and applies it to the egg.

The egg cracks and appears to hatch... but a slimy, non-living object is located within. It's not a real creature but some weird inanimate object! You feel tricked by the shopkeeper and yell saying, "These eggs are supposed to contain real creatures and not stuffed with random items!"

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.


Hmm... I wonder what this "Experimental Super-hatch Serum" could be. It was even written in bold in the original text.

@bang14982 Probably some voodoo magic that the local Leila doctor who also happens to be a Doovoo sold to the black market Doovoo. The Thief Shop Doovoo never answers if a buyer questions it because he's secretly fuming about how he was scammed. Or so I think... 😋

@bang14982 Hehe, just thought of it. Imagine they make a witch doctor Doovoo shop where the Doovoo can give you potions to immortalize/level up/level down??? your creatures, but he's also a very shifty guy. xD

That would be a great idea though! It'd be like the Thief Shop except it's with potions and some can have huge benefits and others can really make you regret using it on your creatures.

I can honestly say I would not dare to use such a feature at all unless it was reversible. ^^;

@bang14982 Hm, like @silverserpent, I think most people wouldn't use it unless it was reversible. I say if you get a potion, goes into your inventory. There you get info about and can really choose if you want to use it or not. If it isn't a potion it says, "Oh the bottle was empty" or something since all the bottles are wrapped. Unless its a potion that turns your creature into a Yeep for 24 hours. xD That would be good.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Not many people would want to take the risk of having something bad happening to their creatures. Maybe there can be morphing potions that can transform your creature into another random one.

This would be like the lab ray for Neopets! I love it XD There could be a chance to change the breed, lower the stats or increase the stats. Very rarely you may even gain or lose a star!
But making it reversible would ruin all the risk :/

I would only experiment with common cave creatures then. It would feel awful to sort of destroy a CC creature or a Thief Shop creature. >.<

Made the topic! I think that the potions should at least tell you what they are, like how the creatures you get from the Thief Shop say, "Oh, this is a Sankose!" or something. To avoid those problems. Or maybe make reversible things in the CC shop.

You wait a bit longer for the egg to hatch. It opens. Much to your surprise, it appears to be an unfertilized egg. You get upset with the shopkeeper and feel gipped out of the deal.
