You eagerly wait for the egg to hatch... the egg sits there and then begins to crack.

The egg cracks and appears to hatch... but a slimy, non-living object is located within. It's not a real creature but some weird inanimate object! You feel tricked by the shopkeeper and yell saying, "These eggs are supposed to contain real creatures and not stuffed with random items!"

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.

Its been over a week since they've been released so I guess I'm just surprised I haven't seen at least one~

I'm not sure of the exact odds, but typically there can be anywhere from 0-4 full eggs a day (from what I've seen) and any number of eggs total. It's random, in other words.

I remember once in my first week of egg cave, I saw an egg in the thief shop. it cost 100k, which I didn't have. At the time, I didn't know the significance of the egg... ☹️

I've never actually bought an egg... or even seen one...
I just found out that they restock at certain times. Now I can actually look at the right times, haha. I've always just kinda opened once a day when I'm doing daily type things. So then...

With what's known, do the more expensive ones have a higher chance of having something? Or is it just completely random?

I believe when the thief shop first opened that it said the more expensive ones have a higher chance of having a real critter. Though I've gotten a lot of expensive ones and a lot don't too. But I haven't gotten one less expensive one with a real critter. Though I have seen some on this topic have from the less expensive. Hope that made sense/answered question
