Re-Sell Item. (21 Support :D)

Hello c:

Recently, my inventory has been full to the top with items that don't sell to well. I'm a bit low on EC too... So an idea struck me! What if you can re-sell items (toys, food, travels, etc) to shops for 20% of their original cost? ^^

@veritaspunk - I think a type of trade-in/trade-up type of system could be an alternative ... with items as well as eggs ... 10,20 etc items will get you a travel or 10,20 eggs will get you an egg ...on rare occasions you get a specific item/egg to the trade-in/trade-up system.... and/or retired travels/eggs. .. maybe even CC

@kittena - Maybe 10-15% original cost though just so the economy doesn't plummet.

@rushingwater This would be a great idea! I have all this gum and nobody wants them since everyone has bought them already. Although, if you want to get rid of items you could just go the the Donations Center, but shush.. Let's get some EC! ^^ I'd love this idea to be implemented.

I support the reselling idea, but I think the resell percentage price might need to be tweaked a little. Ultimately, it would be nice to get rid of things you no longer want or need and that do not sell well, but we also do not want to encourage item flipping. Support, with a recommendation to lower the recoup to maybe 20-25%.

That'd be nice.
I have 100s of travels I got a few years ago, and they don't sell like they used to ;-; It'd be nice to get some kind of EC for them ;p

@rushingwater I love both ideas! 😃 I play on another site where there's a store, and the price of the item for buying depends on how many are in stock (lower stock, higher price), and you can sell them back for half of their current price. It works rather well. 😊

I wouldn't be supportive of this as well ☹️
What if a lot of people (like me) who hoarded useless travels claimed ours for EC?

If 1 user had 10 travels, 100 users having 1000 travels - when redeemed it will cause an excess of EC in circulation which will further deteriorate its value.

And, no. Not all people are generous enough to donate for the SARC funds.
