Question Pertaining to the Egg Cave World

I've been wondering this for a while now. How exactly do you feed an egg? Yes, I know you click the feed button next to it, and that feeds it. What I mean is how does that work since eggs don't have mouths? Do you throw food at it, or does it have a secret mouth, or do you put it in a solution of nutrients? Something else?

@lykhaos117 I had the same question so I animated what I thought was how an egg eats.

The second one was someone else thought of how EC critters ate. I just animated it because it sounded like a funny thing to animate. 😋

But there isn't an official way of how the Eggs are fed, so it up to us to imagine how they eat. : P
I think that the stats for the eggs is actually just a different way of saying its incubating.

You aren't actually feeding the egg, instead its more along the lines of taking care of the egg. Turning it, making sure the temperature is correct, ect.

Its just simpler to have the same system for hatching eggs as it is for raising creatures. 😋

I always imagined the "food" for eggs to be a mushier variety of the actual food. And yeah, that they don't actually eat it, just receive nutrients/care somehow.
