@rustiscool @hay7199 @emilianagerson @leafdapple769 You keep forgetting to ping a person recently. It isn't always the same person though, just wanted you to know.

Newt sighed as well. "Alright, I guess we should. But the camp bears such a dreary mood recently." the black pelted tom hung his head as he observed around him.

Viperfang shrugged. "Maybe it doesn't mean anything, it might just be a false alarm on the medicine cat's part. Probably just a regular dream." she said speaking as she watched the Drake beside her snicker.
"Don't be so thick, of course it is a warning. But of course it is an inevitable possibility. FlareClan is going to die, and everything goes with it. It is unavoidable. I'm sorry."

Turtleneck sat by the edge of the camp and watched as Scarletpaw and Foxpaw spoke of heading out to hunt. "You can't go out of the camp without a warrior you know." she called out to the two young cats. "It doesn't matter how close you are to earning your warrior names, rules are rules."

I shook my head, "No, I don't believe it was just some dream." I looked over at the empty den where the kit had been and growled, "What kind of mother is this cat? Leaving her kit alone all night."

"No, stop saying that. She hid it, and other medicine cats would not have noticed it until to late either. Don't you dare be harsh on yourself. I'd give any cat that was mean to you a good clawing but I can't claw you so stop." I meowed.

{Scarletpaw}
I pretended to be surprised, "What do you mean, oh yes you slept through it. Foxpelt is a warrior now." I meowed.

{Wildheart}
I headed outside the warriors den to get a piece of fresh-kill to eat, but noticing the pile was awfully small I decided not to.

"Ha, ha. Very funny." Turtleneck snapped. "Honestly do you think you can trick me with your games? Thinking I slept recently. I haven't slept for three days, and three days ago Foxpaw was still an apprentice." Turtleneck said, only slightly exaggerating about the whole three days without sleep. It had only been since yesterday since she slept. She had grown too restless in the night to sleep, so she just sat there in the camp watching the rain.

"She probably got attacked by the fox or something. Or perhaps she was hunting for her kit. Either way I don't think his mother would willingly leave him alone for too long." Viperfang said.

Well, that didn't work, time for plan B. I whispered in Foxpaw's ear, "Follow." Then laughed, running at my top speed outside the cave to the moor. There was no way I was having Turtleneck around me and Foxpaw. I wanted to test the theory I have that he likes me, I've had this theory for a while now.

"Oh no you don't." Turtleneck snapped following the she-cat out of camp. She cuffed the apprentice over the ear. "Why do you insist on getting into trouble?" she snarled.

"I can't be sure. But I hope his mother hasn't abandoned him. It would be simply horrible." Viperfang said.

I sighed to Turtleneck, "That's Scarletpaw. That rouge isn't really clan material, but still she's a skilled fighter and hunter."

He quickly followed her, a bit nervous about disobeying a warrior.

When he caught up to Scarletpaw, Turtleneck was hitting her ear. "Hey, we just want to hunt alone. You don`t have to be mean about it!" he protested.

{Shadowberry}
Do you want to mate?

The crazy thought popped up before she could stop it. It only took half a second to process she had said it aloud. Shadowberry whipped her tail across her mouth and blushed loudly.

WHAT THE STARCLAN IS WRONG WITH ME?! That stayed a thought.

{Canarysong}
Despite herself, Canarysong purred, and sat closer to Nightflower so their pelts were brushing. "Alright, I`ll let it go...."

Once I had distanced myself from Turtleneck, I noticed Foxpaw talking to her, "Better hurry before she grabs you and forces you to stay!" I yowled at him.

I purred. Even though we were best friends, I still felt like I did not deserve someone's like Canarysong's friendship. I truly was so grateful to be as close to her as I was, even if I dreamed for more. "Great," I meowed, "I didn't want to have to slap some sense into you, well, not that I could ever slap you. I would never want to do anything that would cause you even the smallest bit of pain."

"W-what?" Newt stammered, back-tracken by Shadowberry's words.

Turtleneck growled in frustration. "Scarletpaw is off again. When will that foolish she-cat realize there are rules to be followed?" she snarled. Adding in under her breath as she turned away from the open moor, she muttered quietly. "Let's hope she catches cold. I'd love to see her nest-ridden for a moon or so. Might teach her some manners."

She wished she could`ve taken her words back, but at the same time, she was glad she had said it. At least now Newt had some kind of idea of how she felt about him.

Shadowberry removed her tail from her mouth. "Umm, I-" she started, but she really couldn`t say anything. She couldn`t lie and say it had just popped up in her mind, because she DID want to mate with him!

Oh, StarClan help me!

He followed Scarletpaw loving the feeling of the wind in his fur.

She smiled, and yawned. Her eyelids fluttered, and soon she had fallen into a light slumber.

I laughed, "Yea, like she can ever be though manners." I sighed, "I don't think she's really meant for clan life, all her rouge instincts tell her that shes her own boss so you can't really blame her. And doesn't it seem strange that she always runs off to the rouge territory? Maybe someone should suggest she go back there permanently."

{Scarletpaw}
Finally, we got to our destination. "This is it." I meowed. "I go here a lot, the hunting's good and I've never seen a single rouge here." This place had a small crystal clear stream running through it with many rocks around it, some large enough to fit four cats. There was one rock that towered over every single other one, that was my favorite rock. I'd covered all the rocks here is moss and feathers to make them more comfortable to lay on.

{Nightflower}
The sight of Canarysong sleeping was truly adorable. I simply stared at her and felt her soft breathing, she looked so cute and innocent and something about her reminded me of sunshine. The knowledge that we would never be together hurt. First of she was a medicine cat, and she didn't even have an apprentice to take her spot. And second, Nightflower was a she-cat. What she-car like's another she-cat? I knew Canarysong would never feel the same way for me as I did for her, but I did not mind. For as long as she was happy so was I, the only thing I wish is for her to always be joyful.

"Yea, I hope we can find her." I meowed, getting to my paws and walking through the pines. The rain had washed any almost any traces of scent, so it was hard to follow.

Viperfang got up and followed Waspclaw outside, heading in the opposite direction as the Clan deputy. She followed some pawprints in the floor, those so faint and almost washed away by the rain they were almost nonexistent

Turtleneck rolled her eyes. "I hope rogues find them." she muttered narrowing her eyes.

Darkkit padded out of the nursery, looking around boredly. He swiped a leaf that was slowly falling to the ground.

Ravenheart stalked the rouge border, keeping an eye out for trespassing cats.

@rustiscool Not much, Foxpaw and Scarletpaw just ran off into rouge territory to hunt and Waspclaw is away looking for the missing mother with Viperfang while Newt and Shadowberry are having a rather awkward moment.

I uncomfortably took a step back from Turtleneck, flattening my ears about half-way, "Hey... you know you really shouldn't wish pain and sickness onto your clanmates." I meowed.

I sniffed around, trying to find a solid trail of scent to follow, but it was useless, so I simply walked about, catching hints of another cats scent here and there.

"I never wished pain. Just something to scare those cats. Really, you must be more understanding Wildheart. I was raised under different circumstances, with my brother raising me and my sister the only way we could learn was for something to scare us into safety, or into doing what was necessary." Turtleneck said shaking her head.

Viperfang sighed as she headed back, as the pawprints became indecipherable. She hung her head as she made her way back to the fox den.

Foxpaw sniffed the air, catching a foreign scent, but just shrugged it off. He finished examining the area and jumped up on top of a boulder.

Foxpaw stretched out on top and began to groom himself.

He headed out of the camp, his senses alert. There had to be some prey somewhere nearby.

Eventually I could not even find the smallest hint of scent, so I headed back to the fox den. "This is hopeless." I sighed, "The mother is probably never coming back."
