"Hmm, what do you smell?" he asked, as he started to walk away from the cave entrance.

Why did I do that? she asked herself, as she lay in her nest in the warrior's den.

When her sister had asked her where she had seen the symbol, she had felt a strong urge to not tell her. To lie. But what for? It wasn't like she was protecting anything; she herself didn't know why Viperfang had the symbol on her or what it mean't.

Shadowberry sighed, and closed her eyes.

"What was that about?" she wondered aloud. Shrugging to herself, she brushed away the symbol with her tailtip, and went back to dividing the beehive into combs.

"Be you," I meowed, "You always do seem to make me happy." I meowed, instantly I wondered if I had hinted to much that I thought of her as more then a friend. But I couldn't worry about that to much because now memories of Mossmoth where flooding my mind. I forced myself to stop them, I didn't want to get lost in layers of grief again like I had last night.

Viperfang nodded. "Alright then." She glanced around in the gloom of the fox den a flash of light outside the den signaled yet another lightning strike.
Although even after the strike and roll of thunder the light remained growing brighter with every second. The sound of rain halted and instead replaced with a crackling sound of fire.
The mouth out the den was enveloped and it had been the only way out the silver she-cat noted as she pressed her head into a small tunnel hitting her nose into dirt just beyond the entrance.

Newt listened to Scarletpaw recite everything to Stormfur as they approached the camp again.

At Waspclaw's words the Drake snickered. "Tell him if you wish. It'll allow him to understand more when he awakens. Or not. Your choice after all."
Viperfang turned to Waspclaw. "It's the seal of Mehay. Given to me by a Drake in a dream last night." she said forcing her voice to stay calm.
Does he think I'm lying? I hope not but we don't really even know who Mehay is so why should ? she thought.

As they entered the camp, Stormfur noticed that everything was strangely silent, the only noise being the storm outside. Almost no cat was in the main cave excepting Foxpaw, and of course themselves.

He quickly shook out his fur, and bounded over to the medicine den.

{Foxpaw}
Foxpaw looked up from where he was eating his mouse, to see Newt, Scarletpaw, and Stormfur. "Hello, how are you doing?" he called over cheerfully.

{Canarysong}
She had just finished putting away the honeycombs when her brother walked-ran in. "What can I do you for?" she asked as she examined a rather tasty-looking honeycomb.

I turned to Newt, "I thought Stormfur said you were needed to help Blazestar on a patrol?" I questioned. I headed over to the fresh-kill pile, answering Foxpaw with a simple,"Fine."

"Maybe its some sort of rouge prophecy?" I meowed. I did not think it could be part of the FlareClan prophecy, because she was not in FlareClan anymore.

I nodded as Newt explained and grabbed a small shrew from the freshkill pile to eat.

I opened my eyes slowly, waking up. I listened to the sound of the rain, which was still storming even after last night. I walked outside the den to look out the entrance of the cave, to watch the rain. I remembered when I was a kittypet, my twolegs would never let me out when it rained. And they liked to keep me in the day after it rained to, just to keep my pelt clean. It felt amazing after I joined the clan and experienced rain for the first time. I was also excited by snow, which my twolegs also never let me out in. I rushed back into the warriors den, "Nightflower get up! I want to go hunting."

{Nightflower}
I curled up tighter into a ball. "You can go get your pelt soaked, bring back a vole, well you?" I meowed, drowsily.

@hay7199 Yeah, you're back! Anyways, Feather started a prochechy that involves Viperfang, Canarysong, Waspclaw, and some other cat. We created a new apprentice, some more warriors, some more rouges, and a kit. That's about it, and it's been storming the whole time. @emilianagerson Hehe, only if Stormfur can be close friends with Wildheart. 😋 @featherstar_stormclan Great StarClan, I love all these complicated relationships! This needs to turn into an anime.

{Foxpaw}
"That's good. Do you know when the rain is going to stop?" he asked, nibbling at his mouse again. He knew Scarletpaw was hard to get to, but he was determined to win her over.

{Stormfur}
"Well, I need you to make a new dressing for my paw." He put out the bedraggled mess of cobwebs and herbs. "I kind of broke it."

Canarysong rolled her eyes, and started to get out the necessary herbs. "If you keep this up, I'm going to have no choice but to tie you up until your paw heals." she meowed good-naturedly.

"Okay, okay, I'll take it easy from now on!" he said quickly, knowing his sister would do almost anything to make sure her patients healed correctly.

Canarysong finished gathering the herbs, and put them in a bundle next to Stormfur. She quickly took apart the old dressing, and began to apply the new one. When she was done, she threw the old dressing in a corner, to be disposed of later. "All done!" she chirped like her namesake.

{Canarysong}
"Thanks!" her brother said, and headed out the den again. Making sure he was out of sight first, Canarysong grabbed the honeycomb she had been eyeing, and slowly started to suck on it.

So good.....

I rolled my eyes, "Yes, I have a magic chest that can always tell when its going to rain. The rain should lighten up at exactly dusk." I meowed sarcastically. [You get a cookie if you totally saw that mean girls reference.]

{Wildheart}
I headed outside of camp to hunt. I caught a bird right away, but I had to wait a while to finally be able to catch a vole. By that time I was soaked. I headed back inside, shaking out my pelt just before walking in. I placed the bird in the pile and went to the warriors den, hitting Nightflower over the head with the vole, "Here." I meowed, dropping it on top her head.

{Nightflower}
"Ouchieeee." I meowed in mock pain as Wildheart smacked me with the vole. I looked up at him, he was soaked, "Hehe, did you have fun out there?" I meowed, he laughed lightly. "I happen to like the rain, now eat your stupid vole." He meowed. I shook my head, "Oh no, its not for me." I meowed. I picked the vole up in my jaws and headed for the medicine den, nodding a greeting to Stormfur as I went. I went inside and put the vole down, "Hey, I brought you a vo- Oooo honey! Sharing is caring!" I meowed, tail shooting straight up.

She laughed lightly, and pulled out a honeycomb for Nightflower. "Here you go beggar, and thanks for the vole."

Canarysong took a big bite out her treat, relishing the flavor. "So, how are you?"

He returned the nod Nightflower gave him with a warm smile, and limped over to the fresh-kill pile. Selecting a rabbit from the bottom, he settled down and began to eat.

{Foxpaw}
Foxpaw nudged Scarletpaw lightly with his tail. "Thanks weathercat. We shall see if you are right."

She snickered, and gobbled up the rest of the honey. Canarysong grabbed the vole in her mouth, and began to eat the whole vole. She hadn't realized how hungry she was, and then again, she hadn't eaten since yesterday!

I need to take better care of my self...

Elated that his crush was actually sitting next to him, he masked it with a nonchalant look. Foxpaw continued to eat his mouse, great full that his stomach was starting to feel full.

I ate my mouse in small, bites, enjoying each one, mouse was my favorite prey. This may be the last mouse I get, because they are all going to hide in their burrows come leaf-bare. It would be mostly birds for prey then.

He glanced over at Scarletpaw from time to time, checking her body out. Even though they never really did anything except fight the rouges, she was very fit, and when Scarletpaw moved he could see the muscles rippling under her pelt.

Great StarClan.... he thought inwardly sighing.

He finished off his prey, and started to groom himself.

I sucked up the honey and looked outside the medicine den, catching Foxpaw scanning Scarletpaws body. I laughed inside, to tell Scarletpaw or not to tell? I deiced not to tell. This time.

After I finished the mouse, I rested my chin on my paws and sighed. "I wish this rain would really clear up, I don't like the way it looks outside with all the clouds. I like a clear sky." I meowed.

He finished his mouse, and quickly buried the bones. Foxpaw laid down beside Scarletpaw and nodded. "Yes, I am kind of tired of the rain. But without it, nothing would ever grow."

{Stormfur}
Stormfur had been thinking about going through some battle moves with Scarletpaw, but he decided he would let her have her moment with Foxpaw.

After grooming himself, he laid out on the ground, and closed his eyes.

She looked up from her mouse to see what Nightflower was looking at. "They're quite a couple, aren't they?" she meowed quietly.

"I guess your right, but if the rain keeps going on like this it'll drown and kill everything." A gust of cold wind reached inside the cave, sending in with it the slightest spray of rain. I shivered, it was getting cold.

Foxpaw noticed Scarletpaw shiver, and curled hs tail around her. "You okay?"

"Meh, I think Foxpaw can handle it. His optimisiam is bound to rub off on Scarletpaw sooner or later." she said, taking another bite of her vole.

Viperfang shook her head. "No, nothing like that. It's something far more important than just rogues." she said.

Zagzagel came back to the small area he and his sister had scoped out for themselves. He brought a rabbit with him, and watched as Mallow bounded over to him smiling.
"Brother, the rain is finally letting up!" she cried out joyously. 'Aren't you excited? That means more sun for us!"

Newt sat down just outside of the camp in the rain. He watched as the drops steadily slowed down, until it was almost like a light misting over the lands.
He watched the sky as more lightning struck down around the forest, and listened as loud rumbles of thunder roared around him.

Unable to sleep peacefully, she slipped out of the warrior's den. She quickly scanned the camp, and then decided to go sit beside Newt. Shadowberry nonchalantly licked a paw and drew it over her ear.

She didn't say anything.

She felt like laughing out loud at his formality, but instead just shrugged. "I've felt kind of bored since this rain started. I haven't felt the feeling of the sun on my back in what seems like weeks, and I simply HATE being holed up in this cave."
