I considered it for a moment then nodded, there was much prey and it was better then fighting. "That sounds fair, the prey here is plentiful anyway. Where should I take your half of the prey when me and Foxpaw are done hunting?"

I shrugged, "Whatever you say, seems like a fair deal to me, saved me some scratches." I turned around and looked into the water, watching a few fish swim by, I waited until I saw a larger one and with swift claws I hooked it and threw into onto a rock where I quickly kill it. I looked at Foxpaw, "Help me catch some prey, we need a lot now that we are only getting half, but the hunting is easy here. It wont take long."

She looked a little sad. "I've had a hard life. Most of the cats i was close to are dead. That is what it's like in rouge territory. We often get in fights with others, and as a result cats die. I didn't want to get close to another to have them die."

I hissed in frustration as the she-cat ran off, half of me felt sorry for her and half of me hated her. How can you just leave your kit when they need you? Then an idea popped into my head. I turned to Foxpaw, "Foxpaw, go fetch Darkkit and bring him here. Make sure you don't get caught!" I meowed. Prey is not the only thing your going to find by that tree...

He nodded wordlessly, struggling to keep his calm. Foxpaw jumped off the boulder, and ran swiftly back to camp.


{Stormfur}
Stormfur followed the scent of a distant rabbit, walking faster as he got closer. He walked around a bush, and froze.

The bunny was crouching but two pawsteps from him.. It looked up, and darted away, and Stormfur followed a bit frustrated.

"Yes, I assumed that much when I returned as well. What kind of mother would just abandon her kit?" Viperfang growled, digging her claws into the ground.

Turtleneck headed back into camp, surprised when she saw Foxpaw entering the camp. Finally that apprentice has some sense. she thought as she observed him.

He grabbed Darkkit by the scruff, and quickly walked out of camp again.

{Stormfur}
Stormfur ran faster and faster steadily starting to catch up to his prey. The bunny was fast, but not fast enough.

When he was close enough, he lept on thd bunny. Stormfur's paws landed on the bunny's haunches and thry both went rolling to the ground. The bunny struggled and almost got away, but he quickly delivered a killing bute to it's neck.

Stormfur buried the prey undrr a rock, and went in search of more.

'Hey!" Turtleneck shouted as she watched Foxpaw leave camp with Dark-kit in tow. "You can't just be taking kits out of camp!" she snarled standing in front of the tom.
"Why can't you and that insolent friend of yours learn to respect Clan laws?" she demanded.

Foxpaw rolled his eyes, and continued walking. He eventually made it back to the clearing, and set him in the middle.
