Creature Suggestion : The Hetzal

Egg Description: This egg has five feathers poking out of it. Once the egg hatches these fall off and are known to make excellent feather pens, decorations, and hair accessories.

Creature Description: The hetzal is extremely proud of its feathered crest. They often spend hours preening to make sure its crest is perfect. If a feather was to ever fall out they may spend weeks hiding until the feather grows back.

First off, great drawing! Ugh, my heart. So jealous. Every time some does an amazing digital drawing, I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GUYS DO IT! Mine just looks like a blob with poor shading.

A green bird! I don't think we have green birds (besides the mo) so hey, new bird! Hmm, this gives me an idea. I can collect a bird for each color. Red bird, orange bird, yellow bird, green bird.......*dozes*

I like the egg description. Does that mean the creature picks up the feathers it sheds? Interesting. 😱

It probably would pick up the feathers. After all I don't think that any hetzal would give up feathers after that point.

The last stage pose is a nice change of pace. I love the description, it's simple but descriptive. A vain green bird, beautiful like the Mo, but takes its beauty to a degree of seriousness that could be harmful.

Cool creature, and name.
