Ever since Graypelt retired everything has gone so wrong."Prey grew scarce, and cats started leaving or dying so soon after. And now nature itself is after the Clan. How much longer are the camp's rock walls going to stand up against this endless rain and flooding of the river? It's only a matter of time before it breaches the camp walls and forces us out." he said, his claws digging into the hard stone floor below him.

Though she believed this deep in her heart there was a worm of worry. Maybe Blazestar wasn't meant to be leader. No she couldn't think that way. He was meant to.

"But that is not what's important right now. I'm more worried about the camp being flooded. Or the prey being driven away completely. All we have now is sparse forest prey, and fish from ponds. And we'll soon hunt that all away."

"Are you -" he hesitated for a moment before continuing. "Okay?"Dawnpaw quickly tried to copy Sunsetheart's movements, taking his advice on pretending to walk. However, she paddled to quickly and took in some water. She stopped, stood and coughed. "Sorry 'bout that," she laughed in between coughs. "Guess I was too hurried."

@emeraldire@charm556Tanglepath smiled gratefully at Coyotepaw. His smile then became shy as he looked at Moonsplash. Tanglepath went up to Moonsplash and blanked out. His mind turned off and soon it was awkwardly quiet. "Um... I, uh..." He shifted on his paws racking his brain for something to say.Say you're sorry!All of a sudden the words poured out."I'm sorry Moonpsplash for everything! For putting you in danger, for causing trouble, for snapping at you, for being awkward, for ditching you, and everything else! I'm sorry if I've hurt you in anyway, I've just... Not been myself lately." He desperately wanted to tell her everything. "I'm just.... Sorry."

@pitch1226 Moonsplash's eyes widened. "I-I accept your apology. But... er... what's wrong? You can say it's nothing all you want, ditch me or ignore me but I'll still know somethings up. Actually that would almost confirm it. Will you please tell me something at least?" She meowed.

@emeraldfirefly Thanks! It was delicious! "I'm fine, just a bit... dazed." He could tell if Moonsplash believed him. It was half of the truth. "It was a small bolt, nothing big." Her last comment scared him. "Presence? What do you mean by that?"

@emeraldfirefly"Yeah, no thanks, I'll keep the name I have," Tanglepath nervously laughed. "I'm fine though, really. Nothing that you need to be concerned about." He tried for a smile. Tanglepath felt guilty for not telling Moonsplash the truth but he knew it was for the best.

When am I going to have to watch my back to make sure I wont be pushed into the river?" He tried to change the subject, hoping he wasn't acting suspicious.
