Dawnpaw nodded at Graypelt's words though her gaze remained focused on the horizon in front of them. She wasn't really looking at anything in particular, but felt that it was better than looking directly at anyone's face. Her claws continued to dig into the ground, tearing at it mercilessly.

Tanglepath sat under a tree. Why was this happening? StarClan, why? He layed down a rested in the Sun's rays.

Swanfur watched Tanglepath rest under the tree. She wanted to go talk to him, but was still wary of the idea. The clan may not be in their territory, but Swanfur didn't think Eveningmist would take kindly of her. Maybe if she could draw him alone.

Papyrus sat on his branch. He could see the gears in Swanfur's brain working. She was up to something and Papyrus didn't like it. He looked back and forth between Tanglepath and Swanfur. What was she planning?

Eveningmist smelled something familiar on the breeze passing by... something close... now what was it? Hmm... it was on the tip of her tongue yet she couldn't pinpoint it exactly.

Swanfur carefully climbed to the tree that Tanglepath laid under. Then she grabbed an acorn an dropped it.

Tanglepath was about to fall asleep when an acorn dropped near his paws. It made him slightly jump. He laughed inside for being scared of an acorn.

Swanfur dropped another acorn.

Another acorn came down, this time hitting his head. "Ow," he muttered. Tanglepath looked up and saw Swanfur.

Swanfur motioned for Tanglepath to follow her.

Eveningmist saw Tanglepath slip away. Her lip curled. SWANFUR! That's the scent. She slipped after him muttering an apology to StarClan for leaving her clan behind for... this.

Viperfang glanced up as a gentle breeze started up. This carried the scent of a cat lacking Clan cat.

Clan cats I can deal with invading my territory. But more blasted rogues? I'm going to flay whoever that is. she though looming for the source of the scent.

Everyone wants to kill Swanfur XD

Tanglepath padded through the forest, following Swanfur's scent. "This better be important," he muttered to himself.

Swanfur stopped in an open area, surrounded by trees. As Tanglepath entered the area, she gave a friendly smile that was not returned.
"Hello Tango."
"It Tanglepath. What do you want?"
"I'm just checking up on you! Is that so bad?"
"Yes, because I have responsibilities!"
"Yes! Of course! I was just wondering if you have seen... him."
"I have no idea who you are talking about! You haven't told me who HIM is!"

Eveningmist's scent had via the journey become muted. She hid and watched at their exchange. Oh Tanglepath... talk about ditching the clan... I guess I did too... Oh well we're here anyway.

Swanfur shook her head, "You'll know him when you see him."
Tanglepath tried to resist a hiss, "That doesn't help at all! You might as well not have warned me! Now if youre done goofing off, I have a clan to get back to." As Tanglepath went to turn around, Swanfur spoke up.
"You've changed. A lot."

Viperfang walked up beside Eveningmist noting the tension she carried. "Attacking before Tanglepath is given answers is not exactly the best option. But time it right and you could have a large upper hand advantage." She murmured watching as Tanglepath moved to head off before the other cat called back to him.

Tanglepath lashed his tail angrily. "I've changed for the better. Unlike you, I know loyalty." As he said this, he question himself. Did he really? After all, he had slipped away to be here.
Swanfur sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I hurt you. I was trying to protect you! I-"
"Sure. You have an interesting way of showing it."

Papyrus carefully positioned himself so the wind didn't carry his scent. He eyed Eveningmist. Was she going to attack Tanglepath? If so, he wouldn't have it.

Swanfur pushed her ears back and dipped her head. "I'm sorry Tanglepath."
Tanglepath let out a sigh. "Just... get out of here ok? I bet Eveningmist will have my pelt when I get back. I cant imagine what she'd do to you."

"I mean I won't exactly stop you. She's crossed into my land unwelcomed. But if she's giving someone you're sheltering that much grief she probably has a reason." Viperfang added before she stood up.

"Now, I have to go introduce myself to my newest guest." She said, grinning in a savage way as she scrambled up a tree. She wove easily across the branches, before she was perched above the duo below her.

The grin on her face she aimed her drop before stepping easily off the tree branch. Landing with a thud not two mouse lengths away from Swanfur as she did so.

Swanfur hissed in surprise. The fur on her back stood up.

Tanglepath jumped back in surprised.
"Viperfang?"

Swanfur gave a smirk. She began to circle Viperfang.
"Hello... Viperfang."

Papyrus watched in horror. This was not going to go well.

"Now do you mind explaining to me why you trespassed on my territory? And why you're giving one of my guests a hard time? It really is so rude to do that to your gracious host."

Dawnpaw sat, shoulders tense as she continued to watch the horizon. Vaguely, she thought she heard voices arguing, but decided to brush it off as the wind howling.


Coyotepaw stayed a small distance away from his Clanmates, his worry for Blazestar and Wolfwind biting at him. He continued to pace.

Swanfur laughed. "What rogue doesn't know your name?" She stopped circling and stopped in front of Viperfang. "As for why I'm here, that's Tanglepath's and my business. Some of it is partially Eveningmist's if you count eavesdropping."

Papyrus sat in shock. What did she think she was doing? Swanfur was going to get herself killed.

Eveningmist slid out of the shadows and stood next to Viperfang. "And my business is that Tanglepath has wandered off from the clan in a time of need," She meowed calmly. She stood tall and somehow managed not to maim Swanfur without a straight talk.

Tanglepath pushed his ears back. He was getting very annoyed with Swanfur.

Swanfur casually nodded. "Agreed. As, what are you deputy? I agree that it is your job to keep your clan in check. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Papyrus frowned. What was she playing at?

Viperfang simply watched as Swanfur circled them. "Yes, yes. Can you stop talking our ears off with your useless circles. I need to know how soon it will be before I can rip your pelt off."

Tanglepath stood up, "wait, when did anyone say we were fighting?"

Papyrus continued to watch in horror. He just prayed Tanglepath wouldn't get involved.

Eveningmist sheathed and unsheathed her claws. She didn't want to fight... because Blazestar could drop dead any second... but still, this cat was going to be the death of her with her attitude. Eveningmist wondered what the cat's fighting skill level was.

Papyrus wanted to tell Tanglepath not to get involved. That is was Swanfur's own fault for ending up in this situation.

Swanfur looked at Tanglepath. "If you would like me to go I will." She wanted to stay, but she too didn't want to fight.

Tanglepath nodded. "Please do."

Tanglepath quickly turned back toward the make shift camp without waiting for Eveningmist, scared of what she might say.
