She glanced over at her mentor, "Oh, Feathernose! Will we be learning anything today?"

"Well, I have a very special task for you today." Feathernose said, grinning. "Last time I was out, I saw a patch of catmint growing near the river. I'm not quite sure how it got there, but it should be grown enough to gather now." He looked down at his apprentice. "Do you want to come with me to get some?"

"Yay!!" Poisonkit cheered happily. He bounced around the camp. Although first he had to clean his pelt. He was licking off the mud and dirt off of him to clean himself.

Wolfkit yawned, stretching his body out and his small claws involuntarily coming out but quickly sheathed as he stood up. He moved silently toward the mouth of the nursery, exiting it to look for something interesting. Soon he'd be an apprentice he only had half a moon after all. He looked around the clearing, cats sunbathing or sleeping or just kind of there. He remembered that Poisonkit wasn't in the nursery so he left in search of him.

Fawnstripe didn't sleep the night before so she stood among all the cats, watching their movements and wondering what she could do today to help out.

Rowanstar ended his one cat patrol and make his way back to the camp.

Close to the camp entrance he heared a birds pecking a worms from the ground. Silently and quickly he catched one of those little birds 'Food for Poisonkit and Wolfkit' he thought walking inside to the camp.

Nightfeather looked around the camp. Feathernose and Icepaw would be returning soon, and she wondered if they had any news.

Wolfkit sighed and looked around, then at his paws. He dug his claws into the dirt, wondering when he'd get to use them for a mouse or a vole or maybe even a bird! He took a few more steps but noticed something fly past his face, it landed on a nearby log at the edge of the forest. He lowered his body to a crouch as he slowly approached what he now recognized as a beetle. His tail flicked around behind him, he prepared to jump. He pounced forward in one swift movement. But much to his descression he completely cleared the log, missing it and landing on his paws but toppling over onto his face soon after landing. The beetle flew past him, almost tauntingly, them disappeared into the forest.

As Poisonkit wandered around, he scented the scent of Wolfkit and followed it to where it might lead him.He saw Wolfkit toppling down and raced over to him.
"Are you ok Wolfkit?!" he meowed perturbed. He wandered if he is alright and tried to help up Wolfkit.

"I'm fine. Something tells me hunting isn't my forte." He told the other kit with a laugh, standing up and shaking his body to get the dust off. He turned his whole body toward Poisonkit and sat on his haunches. "So, what have you been up to?" He asked, his voice seemed slightly annoyed.

"Well I've been outside the camp for a little! I tried to climb a tree, but it didn't work out as planned..." Poisonkit mewed. "What about you?"
He completely didn't get the tone of Wolfkit sounding a little annoyed. He padded around where they were happily looking around.

Wolfkit shrugged, following after Poisonkit. "Just kind of walking and a bit of thinking. I only have half a moon until I'll be an apprentice so I just like to think about what could happen." He replied, his claws unsheathed and digging into the dirt. He continued to examine the world around him, he heard the birds chirping from the tree tops, but couldn't see them. The sound of crackling leaves filled the air as a gust of wind passed them.

Rowanstar dropped the mices to the pile and looked at the playing kits smilling. Noticing that Feathernose and Icepaw was not yet returned.

He walked to Nightfeather "So there wasen't any problems when I was out?" he meowed

Deerpaw exited the apprentices' den, his amber eyes scanned the clearing for any sign that something may be amiss. Satisfied that everything was in order, the tom then stretched out and lay under a patch of sunlight.
