''Secondly, I have reports of rouges talking about invading our clan'' Sandstar meowed. A few cats gasped. ''We will need more cats on border patrol and we can never not have any herbs in from now on. We will need warriors to give up some of their free time to search for herbs for the medicine cats. If we aren't prepared, this may be the end of our clan.'' Sandstar meowed.

Stoneclaw was shocked. She turned to Lynxfur ''We have to help!'' she whispered.

''Thank you for attending everyone. I declare the clan meeting, over.'' Sandstar announced.

Swiftpaw got up as soon as the meeting finished and looked at her brother ''What now?'' she meowed. Featherpaw was too busy looking at Snowpaw. ''Hello! Earth to Featherpaw?'' she growled. ''Oh.. I don't know. Can we stay here a bit longer?'' he meowed. ''No. Come on, get moving. I'll race you, slowcoach'' she growled. Swiftpaw then looked towards Bonepaw. She smiled at him. ''Good luck'' She meowed before racing off. Her brother was rather far behind.

I acknowlegded Swiftpaw's good luck with a twitch of my ear. I kept a watchful eye on Tigerpaw, wondering how long I was gonna have to watch him until he gave in and did what Waspclaw said.

I purred and dipped my head, "Thanks Sandstar!" I meowed. It was rare to have the clan leader as your mentor, and was an honor. I then trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, eyeing it for something to eat. I picked a small mouse and sat down to eat it. My sister Lavenderpaw soon joined me with a vole in her jaws.

I titled my head and whispered in my sisters ear, "I think Featherpaw was staring at you." I meowed.

{Snowpaw}
I took a bite of my mouse and nodded to my sister, "He thinks I don't notice but its obvious." I meowed.
"Do you think he likes you?" Lavenderpaw meowed. I twitched an ear.
"It wouldn't suprise me." I replied, then took another bite of my mouse. Lavenderpaw spoke again,
"Do you like him back?" She asked. I felt my tail lash. Earlier today I almost got murdered! How could she just make such small talk. I would have snapped at other other cat, but this was Lavenderpaw. I would never snap at her, and would never show her that I felt uncertain or scared. I had to be strong to her. I meowed back, "I can't be bothered to think about things like that."

Darkshadow sniffed the air near the border 'Rouge!' he thought.

Lionclaw sat down at the clan border that is when he saw black, gray fur.

Darkshadow exploded out of the bushes and pined Lionclaw onto the ground.

Lionclaw kicked Darkshadow real hard then stood up.

"Who are you?!" Darkshadow hissed. the stranger replied "I am Lionclaw, I heard there was a clan here. I miss clan life since I was chased out of mine. Say you smell strange.... like a clan cat." Darkshadow narrowed his eyes "You want to join the clan I am in?"

"Yes, can you take me to your leader?" Lionclaw asked.

"Fine," Darkshadow replied and led the way to camp.

I felt sorry for Tigerpaw, being stripped of his warrior name, but I was shocked that they had found out about the rouges. I knew Tigerpaw had to get out of that camp. I went up to Bonepaw, who was gaurding him, "Go get some prey Bonepaw, i'm gonna go take Tigerpaw to do what Waspclaw said." I meowed, then turned to Tigerpaw, "Cmon, lets get going." i meowed, hopping he understood I was trying to help him get away.

I went over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a wern, and sat a little ways away from the other apprentices, over in a dark corner, I ate in silence.

Darkshadow raced into camp with Lionclaw behind him "Where is Sandstar?!" He yowled.

Wolfwind headed towards the training clearing, making careful note of how much light they still had left. She wanted to be able to show her apprentice a few new battle moves before the rogues made a move. Whenever that was going to be.

I sighed, he didn't understand I was trying to help him get out of camp. I knew it was risky but I pulled close and whispered, "Im trying to help you get out!" I then pulled away and acted like I was scolding him, "Now lets go, 'paw!"

I flattened my ears in hurt. I had only been trying to help him get out so he could warn the rouges that the clan knew what they were planning. I nearly hissed at him, but stopped and just hung my head. I knew he was smart, but he could'nt get past an entire campful of warriors. "Fine." I meowed sadly. I walked over to Crossface and Glimmerfur. "Hey, im going out hunting, keep an eye on Tigerpaw for me." i meowed.

Graylelt sighed heavily. "Darkshadow, Sandstar is busy. Leave it for now, and find a way to deal with the rogue until she talks to you. Shouting like you were almost murdered isn't going to get her less busy." He explained.

Sandstar heard the yelling and ran out of her den ''What is going on?'' Sandstar shouted across the camp. She smellt rouge ''Darkshadow, what is this rouge doing here? I think it might be best if you come and tell me in my den. Bring the rouge'' She meowed. Heading back into her den.

I walked toward the border, making sure to stay away from my clanmates that were still out. I made my way to the border and crossed it, sniffing out to were a group of rouges were gathered. I regonized Ace, the cat Tigerpaw had been talking to, and I saw Viperfang, whom had started to pad away. Other then that, I didn't know that other cats. "Ace!" I meowed, "Im Foxlily, im a cat inside the clan working with Tigerclaw," I said his warrior name as i did not have time to explain, "Someone ratted, the clan knows that rouges are planning to attack."

Viperfang heard Foxlily relay that the Clan now knew about the rogues plan. She flicked her tail, turning towards them again, curious. She kept her composure before turning to Foxlily fully. "Do you know who it was who informed the Clan?" She asked, tipping her head to the side.

"No, or else I would claw their tongue out for betraying Tigerclaw. All I know is someone told Sandstar, and now the entire clan knows. Patrols are being doubled, everyone is going to be extra alert, this is going to make taking over so much harder." I sighed clawing the earth, then i paused and let out a small purr, "But they don't know cats from inside the clan are attack, which gives us an advantage, unless the rat spreads that to!"

She turned to Ace. "Flea hasn't been back in a while. It is possible that he had sent word to the Clan."
