She looked uneasily at Foxfun "Oh come on, Chaste can heal anything besides death, it isn't too large of a burden! Ah, besides Foxfun," And at this she winked "Did you see how excited they got when they arrived?"

I scowled. "A mess he says." She said with a glare, raising her voice so every single foo could hear her. "415 foos, innocent lives have been saved because of us. A MESS HE SAYS! Excuse me if saving lives so foos don't go extinct is a mess. A MESS HE SAYS! Oh a mess indeed. THIS IS OUR FAMILY!!!!" She snarled and shouted. And then she turned and looked at all of them. "Of course it's a mess." She says, then turns on her heel. "I'm going hunting." She casts a glance at everyone. "Alone."

I take a look back. King is a brilliant wolf. I decide to tell him he can join the elite group. I know he will think he is in trouble when I say this (I mean, I AM alpha, and foos don't just hang out with me) but I say it. "King, I will not be alone, because I require your assistance."

I smile at King's silliness. He always makes me smile, suddenly I go serious. I do not smile like that. I cannot be falling for King. This strikes me as so unexpected that I even thought of that I stagger and nearly fall. I fix myself hurriedly, but I look at King and know he notices. "King, back to business. Come, follow me." I race along the path, running as fast as I can, and hope he's following.

I see Scarlet smile and I smile. I run after her catching up. "So?" I ask. "Do you want me to kill for you so you dont mess your pedicure up?"

I grimace, but then realize he is jesting and laugh. "Can you top this?" I jump, do four rolls in the air, and a flip before I land. I am just, begging, waiting, hoping, praying, he asks what I did that for.

FoxFun turned her fur clear. "Tonight, I will teach you the 'Night Hunt'. Once Scarlet comes back, we will begin. Ava, Tramp, and I will first assess your skills, and then about 5 more foo's will join us, Including Scarlet."

I stare, and then solemnly shake my head. I get right beside him, and whisper the most dreaded word ever with foos, the word that proves even three or four dead foos, why that is exactly what they want to jump out at them. The word I said, was:
"Hunter."

"Hunter?" I whisper. "You stay here. Ill be back." I say stepping forward. I hear a bullet. "RUN!" I scream. I run forward, at the hunter. I see him. He fires a shot, lodging itself in my shoulder. "God." I whisper. I run at the man, biting his neck. He drops dead. I run back, before dropping, blood loss starting to kick in.
