I thought it over, "But the river has not been deep enough to drown any cat in seasons. The last time it ran so heavy their was still three clans in the forest. That must mean something well happen to make the river run again. We could find it and stop it."

foxScar smiled "I'm sure swanheart appreciates those words" FoxScar said dragging swanheart into the hole carefully and pressing his nose to the old deputy's fur, "you were one of the best deputy's we've ever had, you will be a valuable member to starclan".

(I didn't bother reading the other posts, a bad idea...)

Mousepaw ran back into the woods. How dare Thornhollow! All she had wanted was to be alone, hunting in the woods. She growled. And they had to go and save her... she would have killed it with her battle moves! If she had been a warrior, she wouldn't have had a follower. She sighed. If only... she came across a mound of dirt. What had been buried there? She started digging, but realized she would probably need backup in case something showed up. She mounded the dirt back up, and slowly started towards camp.

@flowerlynx Please read through, you missed the entire part where Thornhollow and Dewflight fought and chased the fox off. Both are now injuried and bleeding, but the fox is gone. Mousepaw was unharmed.

dewflight mustered up as much strength as she could opening her eyes and collapsing, dragging herself to thornhollow he grabbed his scruff trying to drag him to camp.

foxScar helped the kittens bury swanheart.

Flameclaw sighed as he walked into the forest, he chose a quite spot and mumbled "I am a worthless deputy....."

Lionclaw saw Flameclaw leave, and he followed. he saw Flameclaw crouch down and heard him mumble that he was worthless. Lionclaw hissed "Flameclaw....... you think yourself as worthless? I can help you and make you worthy in your actions..."

Flameclaw jumped up "Who is it?" he demanded.

Lionclaw stepped out of the shadows "It's me..." he hissed.

"You... You can make me worthy in my actions?" Flameclaw asked.

"of course! all you have to do is listen to what I say, follow me, and I will show you what to do to become worthy." Lionclaw replied.

"really? It's a deal!" Flameclaw squealed like a kit.

FoxScar just chuckled "ok then, when I was a kit I decided to catch my first prey! I targeted a mouse, crouching low enough to catch it, but I ran into a kittpet! we literally bumped heads"

Mousepaw decided that she should probably go get help. She sprinted back to camp, yowling, "We need help! Warriors down! Thornhollow and Dewflight got attacked! Ashstar, where are you?!?" She looked around for the leader.

As Lionclaw and Flameclaw entered camp, Moonpaw ran up to them "can I go take a piece of prey to Foxscar?" she asked.

"go on" Lionclaw replied.

Moonpaw clutched a rabbit in her mouth as she paddled up to Foxscar and the kits "Hungry?" she asked as she dropped the rabbit down.

Flameclaw and Lionclaw hurried over to Ashstar "What happened?" Flameclaw exclaimed.

Lionclaw kicked Flameclaw a little letting him know that this is his chance to prove that he was worthy. "What happened? can we help?" Lionclaw exclaimed.

dewflight struggled to pull thornhollow through the forest to camp, blood was seeping through a wound on her head, flowing into her eyes, making it heard to see.

"Snowburn, Lionclaw, Flameclaw!" I called to the cats I saw around me first, "Come!" I meowed, following Mousepaw into the forest.

I hurried after Ashstar and Mousepaw, and it wasn't long until we found them. Dewflight was weakly trying to drag Thornhollow back to camp, and Thornhollow seemed in horrid condtion. I hurried up to Dewflight, "Let me take him, you must be tired, let us get you back to camp."

dewflight numbly nodded to snowburn, letting her take thornhollow, turning to lionclaw she meowed "we smelt a fox that was attacking mousepaw, we fought it but thornhollow has some bad injuries....we're going to need cobwebs, poppy seeds, and I'm sure my apprentice frostfur knows what else to get."

(frostfur is not put as dewflight's apprentice but, it still counts as frostfur being an apprentice.)
