Lost auction but no money come back

Hi, I've recently lost an auction after bidding 600k ec cause someone else in the end offered 700k. Ok, that's fine.

So I've waited and received the notification that I've lost and that my money will be back. Nothing happened. I waited more and more, now it's half an hour and I got no ecs back, my 600k just disappeared....

Can you solve this? I won't trust bidding anymore knowing this problem could happen again. ☹️

In the end, no money back at all... It's annoying.

I will try to bid a small amount and see what's happening, but please @ian @mastergemma @orderedchaos keep an eye on this!

This happened to me right now! I bid 100k on an auction and lost, but no money was returned? I hope they fix this soon... I kinda miss my money XD

@sugarsprig Not sure if we can get our money back cause maybe there is no proof about it, but it's a glitch that needs to be fixed... u.u

After reviewing this further, this was caused because the final bids on this auction were submitted within mere milliseconds of one another and the server spaced out as to what to do at the end (i.e. who to return an escrow to who and who was the winner?).

As a safeguard to protect against this happening again (you losing your escrow completely), the system will now do a FINAL CHECK upon processing the closed auction to ensure that all necessary escrows are returned IF AND WHEN the server doesn't know "what to do" when bids are within milliseconds of one another. Basically... this shouldn't happen again! Fixed.

I've been able to verify and review the currency logs (we log each of your EC transactions at Egg Cave) for the amount of 600,000 EC. I've re-added this 600k EC to your on-hand balance. Returned and settled.

With regards to your missing 100,200 EC, the system is showing me that this escrow was actually returned to you at 2017-04-28 04:54:11 AM ECT. This corresponds to your notifications page, which said "dappne6 has outbid you on Auction #216848. Your escrow of 100,200 EC has been returned to you" at 2017-04-28 04:52:43 AM ECT. Did you see this?

This was pertaining to this creature http://eggcave.com/egg/2061661 previous owned by @octoberopal123. Are you sure that you didn't receive your EC back? Please let me know.
