History

Over many many seasons, tremors and earthquakes can be heard in StarClan and The Dark Forest. One day, a meteor hits, and the cats of StarClan and The Dark Forest were sent back to the mortal world, now as living and breathing cats.

They face new threats, and now they must find a way back into the ancestor world.

Clans

The four clans had long since left the lake to a new territory, so StarClan and The Dark Forest had to form two new clans. LightningClan, (StarClan) and NightClan. (Dark Forest)

LightningClan

This clan faces threats from bears, foxes, hawks, and eagles. They can hunt smaller hawks, eagles, rabbits, and mice. The cats are the remains of mortal StarClan.

NightClan

NightClan is under the thick, dark canopy of a tall forest. It is dark, and the Dark Forest cats there live malicious lives, under evil and betrayal.

They face threats from cougars, foxes, and wolves. They hunt and eat fish, mice, and small birds.

Beliefs

Many cats of each clan believe that one day, they may have the chance to travel back to the ancestral world. Others, want to stay here and live out their lives as living cats.

Prophecy

Here are the prophecy lines:

Once, in many years
the flash of light
will strike again
and you will see
where you can go

This prophecy involves many cats. So, the chances of getting picked are very great.

RULES
> No vulgar language
> No excessively bloody things
> Don't cause extra drama, and no excessive exclamatory marks.
> Proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
> Please do third person.
> No unnatural coat or eye colors.
> Don't get mad if you don't get accepted into prophecy roles, or accepted in general.
> Get at least three sentences per character.
> Max of 8 cats
> Post at least 3+ sentences per post when you're roleplaying.

Moonstar

She looked on and into the NightClan territory. They had been attacked by them many times in the last couple moons. Prey was growing scarce, and herbs were beginning to get hard to find. Moonstar sighed, thinking back to when they had been transported from StarClan to here.

Foresttail, Deserttail, and Blizzardpaw
They went on, catching prey. "Bet I can catch more mice!" Foresttail mocked as he caught another mouse. Deserttail growled at Foresttail. They continued catching prey until they had plenty, and then they returned to Lightmingclan's camp. "Hey, wait up!" Blizzardpaw called as he was left to fetch the rest of the prey.

Song
"I'm lonely seeing all the clan cats together." She sighed and reached for the remains of her collar. It was all that was left of her old kittypet life. "Will I ever join them..." she wondered as she laid down on a small rock and looked. Then, she picked up a mouse and took a small bite.

Rainkit
"I'm sick of mice." She brushed the limp tail away from her. "Is that all we have to hunt?"
She knew the answer, food was getting scarce as the approaching winter and neighboring clan dwindled the number of prey. She sighed, getting up and walking toward the forest. Even mice taste better when you catch them yourself...

Longpaw
Longpaw put his bad paw down with a cringe as he saw Deserttail and Foresttail return to camp. His mind raced back to when he first hurt it as a kit. It was dark and rainy, there was no way of telling who of Darkclan would have been such a coward to hurt a young one for no cause.

Leaf in the Wind
Things were looking dreary as she was out in the woods sniffing for some late medicine. Anyting she could find on this bleary season would alleviate at least a LITTLE bit of all the things that had happened in here since... the beginning. Stopping for a second to sniff out the dried out leaves that were close to her, she couldn't help but think about her. How was she doing and why was she over there?

Lightpaw

She was worried. Catmint was as usual was scarce. She will try and find some soon, for leafbare was coming. Lightpaw also took note of poppy seeds, which is also almost used up. Poppy seeds were good for sleep, important if there is any serious wounds keeping a cat up at night. She left the clan, hoping to find some herbs. She knew that catmint were escpecially important in leafbare, where most cats would get greencough. She hadn't told Leaf in the Wind her mentor, but it was obvious that she would be gone to find herbs. Or eat, either one of the two was what she did daily, other than collection mossballs for water and stuff. She quicken her pawsteps, hoping to find herbs. Leafbare would be coming upon them soon, and she would be helpless to do anything about dying herbs.

Ginger

Meling at the humans for food, she waited until she was picked up and given milk. "Don't be a baby sis," she heard Flame calling. She was often teased by her brothers for being soft, but she didnt care. The human equipped her with her collar, along with her brothers. They were going out for a walk, she knew that. They aren't suppose to have leashes but a collar would work in case she was lost and found by another human. That concept she understood. She just didn't understand why her brothers would want to try and hunt in the forest, they would get lost, and without food, they couldn't possibly survive in the forest. Suddenly, Flame poked her. "Come on sis, lets go out and explore the wilderness soon." Flame called. She shook her tiny head. "Aww, little Miss Ginger scared of the itty bitty forest," Fire continued. "Fine," Ginger said. She was a bit mad at them for teasing her, being the only she cat in the family. She learned that once they were 6 moons old, she would be seperatedfrom her brothers. But she knew that her current owners ould keep her, because she was obedient.

DeathStar stared into the darkness. Her red and purple eyes blinking. She was trying to see if she can kill a Lightningclan cat. DeathStar always hated the Lightningclan cats. She always thought of them as too soft. She was happy that the Darkforest sent her.

Leaf in the Wind
After a moment, she shook herself to dissipate the memories that had come upon her. She was hoping Lightpaw had taken it upon herself to go and search for herbs herself. Lightpaw was a reliable apprentice. She was a determined young kitten who really did want to learn. Leaf in the Wind didn't know why her thoughts were taking such a dark turn. It was hard giving hope to her young apprentice when everything else seemed so... desperate. A noise made her turn around and she came face to face with a small grey mouse. A sliver of luck was finally showing!

Scar in the Wind came to sit beside DeathStar, respecting her silence.

Foresttail & Blizzardpaw
Foresttail sighs. They still need more fresh-kill. Suddenly Blizzardpaw looked up and saw a small eagle. "Could I go kill it?" He asked, but Foresttail was stalking a mouse. Blizzardpaw climbed up a tree, but couldn't reach it. Crack! The branch was falling.

Rainkit
She walked out into a clearing. It was a large opening of bare rock, the bones of the earth showing through. Any other kit would have been afraid of being spotted by a hawk or eagle, but she knew her grey mottled coat blended in with the rock perfectly. She took a deep breath, pausing to watch the colored leaves swirl in the wind. She would never have admitted this before, but earth... was beautiful.
Her ear twitched. Something scuttled under the leaves and she lowered herself into a hunting crouch.

Lightpaw sniffed leaves. Poopy seed might not come until new leaf when everything starts to grow. Mouse bile was to rid of ticks. Even if there weren't any elders yet, it would be good to stock up on them. Shadowpaw might need them. She heard from him that they had a cranky old elder. She was glad that she didn't have the job as a apprentice. She shivered as her train of thoughts stopped. She found some yarrow. Not too good but handy. Heading back, she out the yarrow she found neatly in a pile where the rest were. She decided to try her luck at the twolegs graden. A lot of them had so many valuable herbs, yet the stupid twolegs knew nothing. It would be a few days till a quarter of a moon, and she would meet her brother in a designated twoleg garden. They did that to exchange herbs and stuff.

Turtlestep
Turtlestep stuck her tongue out in concentration, swiping her paw between the old roots of the tree toward the small furred creature taking refuge within. It squeaked in fear as her claws caught in it's fur, successfully pulling it out and swiftly killing it. Picking up the mouse in her mouth she turned towards her companion happily.
"Beetleflight I caught it!" She meowed, the sound coming out muffled through the fur.

Beetleflight
Beetleflight sighed, shaking her head softly at her clanmate. She simply could not understand the short she-cat. She nodded toward the smaller feline before picking up her own catch, a ruffled bird, and flicking her tail, signaling to her companion that she was returning to camp. With that she took off, leaping gracefully through the underbrush toward the place she called home.

Skyswirl & Snakepaw
"Where is Deathstar?" Snakepaw asked Skyswirl. Snakepaw flinched at Skyswirl's reply. " If Deathstar told me to tell you I would, but you have to focus on your training!" Snakepaw practiced an attack for a fox. "Not bad, but don't slip, or your opponent has a chance to bite you. Snakepaw kept trying.

Foresttail & Blizzardpaw
"Help!" Blizzardpaw was falling of the tree. Foresttail hurried, but was tired from hunting, and didn't make it to catch him. "Oh no!" Foresttail picks up Blizzardpaw and hurries to camp.

Nightstar grumbled, "No Lightningclan cat in sight." She went back to the camp. She starts thinking of attacking Lightningclan tonight. She says "All cats old enough to kill a Lightningclan cat come here for a clan meeting."

Beetleflight
After arriving at camp with Turtlestep, the two head over and deposit their kills. Beetleflight's ears perked at the sound of a meeting being called. She huffed quietly before going and sitting at the edge of the meeting area, leaving Turtlestep to figure it out herself. She didn't really like meetings, they rarely ever meant anything good in her opinion.

Turtlestep
Turtlestep blinked owlishly and glanced around for her companion, seeing that Beetleflight had already gone off on her own. She tilted her head slightly in confusion before realizing that there was a meeting going on. Scrambling over her feet she managed to skitter over to her spot, completely oblivious to the patch of mouse fur stuck to her chin and the small tufts between her toes.

Wolfheart

His ears pricked up at the sound of Deathstar's chilling voice. Wolfheart stood, and padded to the clearing. He looked up at Deathstar. Wolfheart realized what their leader was planning. An attack on LightningClan! Another one!
Immediatly he thought of Cloudstorm, his littermate. What would happen if they came face to face in the attack?

Moonstar

She shook her head. It was going to be a long leaf-bare here. Times were hard. Prey was more scarce than when the clans had used to live here.

Moonstar heard an eagle soaring overhead. She hoped there weren't any kits about.

Nettlesting

Nettlesting heard the call of his leader, for cats who could kill LightningClan cats. At least they were getting something done. He blissfully wished he could fight for NightClan.

DeathStar looked at the other nightclan cats. Deathstar said, "Tonight we are all going to attack Lightningclan again." "We are going to kill as many cats as we can." "Clan meeting dismissed."

Beetleflight
Beetleflight huffed, being originally an outsider she didn't understand the hatred between the two clans. However, she had to obey her leader's orders. She stretched and set off to go sharpen her claws, she had to be ready for whatever came tonight.

Turtlestep
Turtlestep perked up, a fight? She could fight! Her paws kneaded the earth, bubbling with energy. She wasn't sure if she could kill anyone but she could definitely fight! She hopped to her feet as the meeting ended, darting around camp to warm up. ...though she paused for a moment and thought to herself 'Have I ever been in a real fight?'

Something was wrong in the air. He could smell it. Something ominous, like a rising fog. He wondered where Blizzardpaw was, he hadn't seen her all day. Not that he wanted to, he told himself, but he was slightly concerned.

Rainkit
The mouse was fresh and much better then the one at camp. She decided to start heading back, because the sun would go down sooner than later.

Deathstar replied to Scar in the Wind, "You can bring medicine if one of our clan mates are badly injured during battle." "You may go now." Deathstar felt more energized then ever. It was almost dusk. It is time to set out. She called all the Nightclan cats.

Shadowpaw

A battle, he thought wearily. He knew that his sister was alreay collapsing because of the attack. And he was too. But he wouldn't try and disobey orders. So the best he could do was to find herbs. Another battle was the two words ringing in his head. Especially near leabare, that's not good as he wearily went on his way in the forest, sniffing plants and leaves.

Lightpaw

She was tired over the last moons because of the battles with Nightclan. Then a vision came to her. She never really had any visions on battles, but the last few moons she had an attack of visions. Most were only skirmishes with few dead cats. But not this one. In this one, she saw dead cats litter all over one the ground. The ground was soaked in blood, unlike the outcomes of the battles they recently fought. She shivered and went on her merry way. She would tell Moonstar as soon as she finished collecting cobwebs.

Darkheart

Darkheart had already knew that a battle was coming up soon. She didn't need any words, just the look on her leader's face. She shivered. The last battles were not pretty. They had to bury some cats. Why won't Deathstar think, she thought furiously. Warriors were not battle tools that can be used multiple times. They needed to be rested, polished, and sharpen before a new battle. And most were still healing from old injuries. She disappeared into the shadows. She would not want to have anything to do with the battles.

Darkstar said, "We have reached near the Lightning clan border. She sniffed and realized that they have reached the tunnel of Lightningclan. "Attack!", Deathstar ordered. She rushed into the camp.

Longpaw
He heard it before he saw it. Cats yowling and screaming and a familiar voice shouting. Darkstar.
His first thought was his sister. He ran as fast as he could with his paw. The first cat he met he asked where the kits were. All he got in response was a glance towards the forest. That was all he needed. He ran like never before.

Rainkit
She crouched, shivering in the cover of brush that was all between her and the cats running by. She could not recognize any of them as her clanmates. An attack! They would be at the camp now. She caught a glimpse of the eyes of one of the dark cats. They wanted death, nothing else. This was a fight of pure hatred.

Darkstar saw a kit but she didn't want to kill the kit, she wanted to kill the leader and the warriors of Lightningclan. Darkstar caught on to a tom and pinned him down. She gave the tom a gash. She than continued and pinned another warrior down. She growled, "Where is Moonstar?"

I rushed into battle alongside my daughter Moonfall, gleefully attacking the LightingClan cats, I would slash into one, and claw at another, and bite into anothers face, it was a blurr, but it was great.

{Moonfall}
I looked around camp, I knew who I wanted to fight, and there I saw him and his sorry pelt standing. I ran up and pounced onto Blackpelt, tackling him over.

{Blackpelt}
I clawed at Moonfalls nose, trying to distract her so I could get up, I hissed loudly in her face.

Darkstar slashed the tom on he upper ear "That's for not telling me where Moonstar is." She than delivered a huge gash and went off. Darkstar found herself fighting 2 cats she gave them both a bite and a gash.

Scar in the Wind sat at a distance from it all. She wasn't really interested in the fight just in one person and she couldn't find her amid the skirmish. She had brought enough medicine to heal her wounded wounds and by the sounds, some were already featuring them, but she didn't worry. Her clan was strong, stronger than this little pitiful one.

Leaf in the Wind heard the sounds of a battle. With anguish wrecking her heart, she left her medicine in a small pile by a rock and started running towards the battle.

Beetleflight
Beetleflight tore into the Lightningclan camp, hair on end and claws at the ready. She swiped at any Lightningclan cat that neared her, long tail lashing behind her. Her pale green eyes daring any cat to take her on. She would fight loyally with tooth and claw.

Turtlestep
Turtlestep went to charge into the fray, nearly tripping over her paws and kicking up a spray of dirt behind her. With her fur standing out she looked more like a hairball than a cat. Her owlish eyes darted around, unsure of what to do next. She really didn't want to hurt anyone but she couldn't betray her clan.

Deathstar realized that the Moonstar would be in the leaders den. First however she gave deep wounds to any other cat standing in her way. Deathstar jumped to the leader's den and started yowling "MOONSTAR!"

He saw a small grey body huddled in the underbrush. He leaped towards it, clawing any opposition out of the way. Cat fought cat all around him as he picked up his sister by the scruff of the neck. "I'm getting you out of here" he mumbled, "just hold on."

Rainkit
She felt herself lifted up out of the scanty cover she had. She struggled until she heard the familiar voice of her brother. As she viewed the battle around her for the first time, she felt a shiver pass through her. This... this was ugly.
