I want no more drama resulting this guide. If people have concerns or input I am totally open to hear! We want to make the guide better and help the community. So if voting no, in the poll. please inform us as to why. I will also be updating it this weekend with a few corrections. Thanks so much for the help and support!

I liked the guide, though the value of some creatures was diminished. Like for example, Sandrodon. I can trade them for 300CC.

Just as a suggestion, perhaps you could create a few copies of the guide? Like one on Daisy's account as well as jardoz's? Because I know not everyone can access the one on jardoz's account that may want to. 😊

Daisy and I thought we were doing a service to the community by creating a guide that people could use as a reference for trading. We spent countless hours on this and have gotten nothing but horrible behavior from people on this site and absolutely no gratitude. From people being offended that the guide even exists, being so rude about our values, yelling at us for having lives and not updating it quick enough. I'm OVER IT.

There was also a user who we asked to help us when we created this guide and they since have bashed our values to anyone who would listen, gotten rude with us, and secretly conspired to create their own guide. Now you can just use theirs. DONE

We made it so clear so many times that we were open to input from the community, but instead of helping out and being nice and kind and collaborating, people decided to take other routes and bash us or be rude to us.

@quetzalcoatl @jardoz ☹️ I've used this countless times and it seemed really helpful, even though not everything was updated. It's a lot of work, I know. I'm sad to hear this but, at least people will understand and be nicer in the future.

☹️ aww, i really, really depended on the value guide. from the first day it came out, i found it and it helped me loads, to make trades, and much more. hopefully you bring it back one day...if not, i totally get it ☹️

Okay, I have to jump in here, because I know exactly which user you're talking about when you say someone bashed your values and ~conspired~ to create their own guide - I don't know what your definition of bashing is, but disagreeing does not equal a personal attack. This user has been offering value help for years before this guide existed; did you ever think that them wanting to create their own guide was less about your guide and more about them not wanting to have to field a huge bunch of value help requests every time they log on? What's wrong with other users having different opinions on values? Again, it's not a personal attack, but you're treating it like one.

"We have gotten nothing but horrible behavior from people on this site and absolutely no gratitude," really? I can go back through this board and find a dozen people thanking you for putting this together, so that's a gross exaggeration. I also see a few people asking questions and being treated like they're attacking you. You can't say "we appreciate feedback" and treat the people offering it as hostile when they take you at your word without a little backlash.

I'm gonna stop myself here because I'm pretty sure anything else is just gonna fall on deaf ears, so feel free to completely miss the point of those two paragraphs and jump straight to blocking me. Same goes for anyone else reading this who doesn't like any kind of criticism. ✌

@cartel you don’t know me at all I’ve never spoken to you and you certainly don’t have any clue whatsoever to what I’ve dealt and the person I’m referring to can come to me if they have an issue, otherwise it’s nobody’s concern. Have a great day!

There have been people who have been nice about the guide, but honestly all the hate and nastiness has completely overshadowed that and I have no interest in continuing to make it available or discuss it. This is the last comment I’m making about the guide it’s dead.

I appreciate your concern but even though u think u may know about the situation, you truly don't know in its entirety. We wanted the user to be apart of the guide and help make it and provide their input but they chose not to be involved. Which honestly was hurtful because they were a great friend and I wanted their involvment.

I just find the entire thing silly and people are way too critical of the situation. We just wanted to help people. Not worth the crud we got in return. And that crud I'm referring to is not related to people having opposing views. We were open to other views and asked for input. Some ppl just chose to be rude about their input and took it to an extreme level.

I want to have fun on eggcave. Not about discussing the guide or wasting time on it anymore. That's all. Not mad or upset with anyone. Its just not worth it to me. No guide is. Because at the end of the day.... People price creatures how they want to. And there will always be haters with ANYONES guide. They cause more problems than good in my opinion because people chose to have it be a negative thing.

Thank you so much for creating the Value guide and for all the hard work you've put in there... I was kind of new when I came across it and it helped me so much. I remember wondering how long it took to code all the colors, you guys have done an amazing job. Although now, more experienced, I don't quite agree on ALL the values, I still refer back to it (It's still on one of your eggs @quetzalcoatl please don't delete it I check back there so often) and agree with most. After all, everyone's opinions about their creatures are different and it's just a guide. It may seem wrong to some people but it's your opinion.
I'm so sorry about everything that has happened. It does not matter whether you are right or wrong, I didn't understand most of the convo up there (I was just seeing why something I depended on so long closed down), but I know you felt hurt and that's enough to be sorry about, thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

I know all of us trade differently, maybe I'm not okay with some prizea but it's a great help to know what you could get for creatures.

I'm sorry as well you both hadn't much fun anymore to play this game and I can understand you don't want to work on the guide anymore. I hope you both find the fun and the love to the game again 😊 you deserve the best and I hope Jardoz comes back in the future ❤️
