I present to yo- wait, a little backstory first.

Today, i found a dead hummingbird outside in our backyard. ☹️ We buried it, and when I got back here, I wanted to remember it by finding a Floicol stolen on this day. And sad me decided to make a creature suggestion for it.

Now, I present to you: the insert_name_here! (Will be edited.)

Egg description:

This egg, though tiny and fragile, makes a person feel bolder and stronger when touched. It’s magnificent green color makes it stand out from everything else, making it more vulnerable, but insert_name_here sets lots of traps to protect the egg... careful, don’t get stuck in one!

Creature description:

The swift and small insert_name_here has as unique tradition that none of the other birds have. Every March 18, all the insert_name_heres, big and small, go north off of Ark and disappear until April to honor the first of its kind.

@iris1929578 I like this description very much, it has such a great feeling of dignity in it I'm not sure how to describe. This MUST get made, it really deserves ❤️ About the name, hmm... Dior (dignity+honor)? Traior (tradition+honor)? Strior (strenght+honor)? Resior (respect+honor)? I know, not very good ones, hopefully I come up with something better.

You could add how when one dies, they sit vigil 😊 Sort of like Warriors, but I mean, sit vigil for a loooooong time. Especially family and close friends, protecting the body until nature reclaims its essence or something. And maybe how they have tribes/clans they belong to, each one ensuring no member is treated unfairly or suffering. Plus a little description about what the creature looks like would be great as well!

Soronor? (sorrow + honor) Fragiling? (fragile) Tuanwing? (from Tuan Yuan, aka Chinese for "togetherness" + wing) Hummibold? (hummingbird + bold) Idk xD

Oh, and would you like to collab? I can draw the creature!

As for the vigil thing, maybe they could bury it instead by following some old tradition? Or perhaps a sad song is sung when a member dies 😱

Unfortunately, I might suggest to edit the description a bit to make a little less specific/personal? That is, if you are set on trying to get the approval from eggcave staff and make it a legit creature. Idk though, I'm not on the EggCave team's position.
Overall, I like the design 😊

This is so pretty! I think the only Hummingbird on Eggcave so far is Floicol in fact.

A bit of feedback- I feel as though there's nothing too special about it...it seems like an ordinary Hummingbird? Maybe add a few other features in the description apart from it making people feel bolder and stronger. It's fine if you don't want to change your idea, it's great already!

A name I suggest is Bolhumese?
I know, a bit long and strange. "Bol" is from the word "bold". "Hum" is obviously from the word "hummingbird". And the "ese" is just to make the critter name sound better?
I'm not the best at creative names, sorry!
