Spectre glances at them. “I can’t believe this...” somthing in her must have clicked, and her face changed. “There are a few good ones in the world.. a FEW.” She looked at Lyon. “I’m so sorry..” Nova’s eyes crunched closed as Malen’s wrist dropped out of her grip, and she hit her lips, and put her hand over her eyes. And she walked away to keep from showing her Emotion.

"It's not your fault." Jaela climbed out of the hole and raised her hands. She brought them down sharply in a cutting motion and a large chunk of dirt rose out of the ground. Perfectly sized. She set the dirt down and carefully picked Malen up with wind. Jaela closed his eyes and set him in the hole. She released the wind and walked to a flowering bush. She plucked one flower and tossed it into the grave. "It's not near what he deserves, just for being one of us, but it's what we can give..." Tears threatened to fall, but Jaela forced them away.

Nova climbed up a tree and was quietly crying. She had never had someone die right in front of her. It hurt her.Spectre glanced at the others, “if you are planning on taking revenge, count me out..” and she got up.

"Wait, what?" Lyon starts worrying. "You don't have to hurt anyone, there are other ways you can help us. Please stay with us."

(Night) Jaela filled in the grave and made dust from afar cover the blood on the ground. At this point, she just felt numb.

Raina stood, shock still, near the clearing. Why couldn't humans and avians exist in harmony, why had Malen died? she thought to herself. Slowly, Raina turned around and walked to the cave.

Jaela finally let her tears fall, mostly ignoring them. She spread her wings... Sort of. A jagged pain in the tip on one wing kept her on the ground. She winced.

Lyon overhears Nova and Jaela talking. "You don't have to make a decision now, but please reconsider staying with us." He says to Spectre and walks up to Jaela. "What's going on?" He asks her.

She held Jaela’s wing and observed it. “Mhm.. you got hit, let me clean you up.”She took sterilizing wipes and started to clean the wound.
