When I was a newbie I got all my creatures from UFA LE lots in the TC. (I don't have CC) I noticed that once I started getting a better cove I stopped offering on those UFA LEs because I thought they aren't worth anything compared to the creatures I have. And Now I regret it because Looking at my cove I love all of my creatures there and I don't want to trade them. Since I don't have anything to trade, my cove can't get any better then how it is currently. As your cove is growing and you're obtaining rarer creatures you start to lose the idea that Your cove doesn't have to have all the rare creatures. It's supposed to be a group of creatures that YOU like not what other people like. You can go look at people's dream coves and wish lists. Most of them will have onnys, tines, doovoos, and macbots listed in there. Though look at the newbies' wish list Since they're new they don't really know which creatures are rare so they pick the creatures that they think is cute, cool, awesome-looking and expect to be able to trade them for other creatures. You can't be mad at them for not knowing what's worth what and you shouldn't try to scam them either. How can any cove get better if they're being scammed all the time?My point isA You shouldn't be mad at newbies because they dont know what some creatures are worth and don't try to scam them they probably worked hard for those creatures your trying to get from them.B Your cove is for the creatures YOU like not what your friend likes.

@anoriAlthough we are suggesting now I think that onnys, foos, and retired creatures should stay retired because if we re-release them the value isnt as well as it use to be although I am not being mean and harsh to newbies. The lottery is consider great adding in some cc and rare pets, but otherwise if it is retired its forever retired. the commons in eggcave should have different colour changes like the difficulty to get a blue mo or a red chimera something like that XD

@thursdays_dove Thank you and I remember that you got me my first Flowerfur when I was a newbie And I understand - I think most of the people here wouldn't find enough money to buy all 3 for themselves not to mention monthly ;/. @yogurt This is all true sadly many people are just rude to newbies - Like @novrain62 suggested we should make this all bulling illegal because some people acting like mad dogs :/@xxshadowclawxx but I am not stating that all the retired pets should become available now - those all are just my suggestions. I just see that we have now 130 species and most of them are retired for next 2-4 years we would have around... 300 and this all unavailable to newbies and all other people. So that's why I suggested this and lottery - maybe lottery will be enough so people would have a chance to win rare creatures - if that would be the case I will be happy with it I just want this to be better place for all ^^

I don't like Macbots, Doovoos or Onnies. I like creatures because of what they are, not only their rarity. That's almost like discriminating people in real life. I can't get CC at all, so I can't freeze any of my creatures or buy any CC creatures and I have the worst luck. Took me more than 2 years to see a Mo in a cave, haven't seen a Terron yet and never gotten a creature from the asteroid. When there's Creature Release Week, I usually only manage to get 2/7 creatures so I can't really trade it for anything.

@evolutary Exactly I was in the same situation not long ago ;/ We really need more ways to get CC by earning and by luck. We also really need shifting or something to just make those available pets worth something. Because now aside of buying CC you really can't do anything else âšī¸.And lowering the prices would help too ^^

@anori - And geeze, when I go to look in the Archives, seems like most of the creatures are retired. I've thought about it off-hand before but then I REALLY got to looking at it... So when Ian says they're retired forever, that does seem kind of ridiculous, when there are more retired creatures than current ones. It's like when I used to collect Ty Beanie Babies in a way!I also remember logging on one day and just scrolling through the 15 newest trades to see what was up, and like all of the lots were asking for Aerlos. This was before I checked the Blog, so I was like, "What is this?" and when I checked the Blog, sure enough, it had been listed as "endangered". So just the day before they had been treated like "junk" but then suddenly everyone wanted one to stock up on them to use later? :/ If I'm wrong in this, feel free to correct me.I'd also like to add that I have a problem feeding back because my computer is.. on the verge of dying haha. And it takes a REALLY long time. I do most of my feeding when I'm visiting my mom and get to use her GOOD computer. xDI'm really glad you made this topic, I think all of what has been said here has needed to be said for a long time! đ

@thursdays_dove And think about future - if we have 3+ eggs every moth + eventually Le's + some cave creatures retired as well O.O soon 90% pets would not be available and after some years how many that would be 200 ? 300 ? 400 ?This is and will be getting even more ridiculous something just must change.Of course most of the pet sites are retiring some of their pets but for example look at valenth - they have 266 species of pets now 80-90% are not CC and the rest you can easily find. Some of those pets are retired but how many 10? species like birthday pets. Not to mention that I am sure (because I saw that before) there will be some sorts of occasions/special events to get those in the long future. And they are shifting those pets constantly. That's why I think that it is great idea for us - we can't and wont have 2 billions pets in the cove at the same time and aside from that this is the only thing that would increase rarity of those pets. Also I think that It would prevent hoarding because no one can be here 24/7 so no one would "catch them all" and all people would be able to trade for what they really want not just for something rare "and no junk eggs".And you are welcome I think many people see that and even more will see in the future. And I have computer problems like you especially with my keyboard so I think that we could use more "memory saving" layout - so we with computer problems wont make over machines bust into flames XD

@anoriI just wanted to add my support to this thread. I think there are many things that _need_ to be dealt with here to make Egg Cave a better and friendlier place.I'm starting to feel like a really old user now because I seldom see any of the people that were around when I started out and it makes EC a bit lonely. Just when you think you get to know someone they quit. Or disappear. I don't know how many old coves I know that have just withered away and died because the user went away and never came back. :/

Wait. I'm a newbie, and I'm lost. Cave eggs are considered JUNKS?! Is this true?!
Deleted • 12 February 2016 at 9:42 PM
@puppypuppy246Though some people like to collect them, most common cave creatures aren't worth very much and are indeed sometimes called "junk eggs", as they cannot buy rarer or limited edition creatures.Rather unfortunate, I really do hope they find something to do about it soon.
iceiceice • 12 February 2016 at 10:29 PM
@puppypuppy246 They're not necessarily junks. Just commons. People don't value commons as much. Also, this topic is a bit old.
