Quantity of items you already have shown while buying in shops!

The old idea was that the shops make a highlight on every item you do not own (in inventory and strongroom). That would be very useful, since there are thousands of unique items, and it would make easier for those who want to collect them. That could be a Cash Shop item to buy and it would "warn" you the items you don't have yet.

An easier way, would be if, above the item, it was shown how many of it we have, in order to make things easier if we need to buy it or not. Would be perfect for quests.

That's a really good idea for collectors, it might be annoying for non-collectors maybe have a toggle on-off switch in Preferences (:

It definitely could be annoying to see highlights everywhere, but if it's a Cash Shop thing to buy then if you don't want to see all the highlights you could just not buy it... This would be *so* helpful though!! I actually keep my inventory/strongroom open in a tab whenever I'm looking at any of the shops, I now have over 1k items in my strongroom and I certainly can't remember what every single thing is! Being able to see at a glance if I already own something or not would be extremely helpful.

@wonder404exe and @heatherm19 I agree. That's why I thought it as a CC item to buy (like a Leaf of Vaka). But it could also be something you could add as a preference if you want it or not.

I have 12,800 items in Strongroom, 4,823 unique items. It's getting tough lol.

yeah I agree because some items are expensive and they start adding up after a while ESP like for me a sort of but not really new (middle?) player, I keep buying dups because IDK if I already have them or not.. it'd be way easier for me to collect if I know which are new and which I already have

and w cc travels- I cant tell which are cc travels and which aren't (im not sure if they tell somewhere or something tho...) because when you hover over it, it just tells you the name but I have no clue how to search it up or if its just a normal travel agency travel

@allydogfog it's easy to tell if it's a CC travel or not. You can go in your Strongroom and select "CaveCash Items Only?", and all your CC items will appear. And you'll see the first thing before its name is a CC symbol (or the last after the name, if it's in your Inventory).

Also, if you click on the CC travel or item, as if you would put them in a creature, the following message will appear: "This is a Cash Shop item, which means that, in the case of it being a Travel, it can be put on and taken off creatures multiple times".

@raitonchidori im talking abt the trading ones, like if you're offering for a 'cc travel' from another player in the trade center it only shows the name of the travel and I dont know which are normal or cc ☹️

like for example your trade with star of Bethlehem- I cant click on the travel since its not mine and I can only tell if its a cc travel when I have it in my strongroom

im not sure if it shows on egg cavity (I know people on eggcave use that site sometimes for wishlists and stuff so maybe?) if you search it up but I dont use egg cavity and have no access to egg cavity either

Frankly, I think a really simple fix for this one could be utilising the strongroom's quantity display in the stores. I am constantly searching my strongroom when I'm browsing the stores to see whether the item I'm about to buy is already in there or not. If I could see a quantity on the purchase page, I'd already know that I have (embarassingly) 5 of those Seren bath toys.

Similarly, in regards to CC items, all it takes is that little money icon that the strongroom already shows us. Feels like this suggestion has room to be easily interpreted if we use a feature that's already on-site.

superb idea !! Especially due so meny releases of new items. I still believe, one, maybe two per week would be enough, no few days in a row.

Maybe one day even the number of specific item you have "on stock" 😊

This may be an old post, but the subject is fresh on my mind. Restocking for the Daily Quests today has my wrist in so much pain I've nearly been in tears on and off throughout the day. All that back and forth to the Strongroom page. It would certainly help if there was a counter on the page. (I don't know if it could even be implemented. but it would be so helpful. If not on the main shop's page, on the haggle screen?)

It would also save so much time... time i could have better used for feeding creatures.

I liked the option that was mentioned for the toggle on/off.

This would be SUPER useful. I like the idea of being able to toggle it off and on too, that way you can just use it when you're needing it.

@Ian Eeeeeekkkk just came to see if anyone mentioned it, saw it in the Toy Shop! I admit I was a little skeptical with the suggestion but it looks *awesome*, very unobtrusive. (Although for some reason the 'x in stock' text is now super tiny?)

No, misunderstanding. When I am in a certain store, I would, we woukd like to see, have many particular items I have in my Strongroom. Not how many are available.

The new feature tells you how many of a thing are on your account (SDB, Shop and inventory) when you hover over an item in a NPC shop on a computer.

After a little playing around on my tablet, it will also pop up if you "hold" on an item. So it's still there on mobile, just slightly more cumbersome to use.

Edited to add two things:
1 - I also spotted the notice on the haggle page, just above the box you put your offer into.

2 - My opinion - Honestly, this isn't something I thought I would want, but now it's implemented, I really like it. While I like to try to keep a certain number of each item for questing purposes, it's going to help me stop accumulating 20 of an item. Instead of just buying one of everything in a shop, I'll just buy those that are below my self imposed "quota".

Well, I think it would be good on CSP travels too. It would be good on Items Database as well, in front of the "Find in my strongroom", like (3), meaning how many you have. But seriously, these would be just details, I think the Shops change already help a lot.

By the way, also why not on The Archives? Then we'd know if we already have that specie, if we want to collect one of each, or how many of that specie we have, if we're hoarding. Well, I can dream.

I've just added the You Have: X feature under the Items Database too. Any other areas you'd really like to see it?

Maybe user shops, perhaps, too? I don't want for it to be overload, but just really useful where you need it, you know?

@Ian I was going to suggest user shops... It kind of feels weird to go from shopping an npc shop with the useful counter and then going to a user shop where it's not there and I have to go back to searching my strongroom item by item. I'm curious to see if others have that experience or if the user shops aren't a big deal for most people?

(Omg as much as I love this new feature it has led to SO much more buying! Go to see if something specific is restocking, end up buying like 5 things I didn't realize I had literally zero of. lol!)
