I didn't see any topics on this, so I thought I'd create my own! I'm just curious to know what people do for their PFP creature. For me, I just keep the same creature for my PFP, but I know that some/most people like to change it up. So, I wanted to hear what other people do for their featured creatures. If you keep it the same, why and is that creature special somehow to you? If you change it up, why and which creatures? Or do you pick random ones periodically? I'm curious! Please post your thoughts.

I am changing mine so they evolve into different stages guessing pfp is short for profile feature picture or something like that

I need to immortalize them so I always change mines with other mortals.

I should change mine, but I want my Hibisvul to evolve since I made the species she is often on the leaderboard for being the first one 😊)

I keep mine the same. A little part is laziness and a little part is indecision on who to change it too. In saying that, the creature is special. She was my first CC creature, and I worked hard to get the Halloween seeds I spent to trade for her. At the time I had a fluffy black cat, and Weft is named in her honour (yes, that was my real pets name, it's a complicated story).

It kind of depends, for me. If I have a newer creature that takes a lot of views to grow, I'll put that one as my profile picture to get that small stat boost (also put view-heavy creatures in my sig on another game). That's what my Calla is doing there now. But if I don't have a high-view creature I'm trying to evolve semi-quickly, sometimes I'll keep my previous one there even if fully grown, and occasionally I've put my 'favorite of the moment' there regardless of it's stats needs or whatever (like my Fetti, I was so excited to show him off when I finally got him).

Usually for creatures I need to evolve via views or level up, I'll put them in as my PFP. During holidays, I might change my creature to fit the event as well.

As a little "bump" for my post, I thought I'd do my own! Hopefully this discussion continues, I think it's pretty interesting. For me, my PFP creature is always the same. It was the first "rare" (monthly) creature I had gotten, and I named it after my username, so that's why I keep it the same......or so I like to say. I'm just too lazy to change it, and it fits with my username/aesthetic.

It describes me the most ig? and I liked it that's all x'Di sometimes dislike when people changes their pfp mostly BCS i recognize them though their pfp (its like a person's face c😊

My go-to PFP creature is my Clocat. She's my favorite creature and just really special to me. ❤️ The only time I don't use her is if I have a creature I really want to evolve through views (hence my current PFP... little bird must grow).

@wonder404exe I've been on a specific forum since I think around 2013, and yeah it definitely gets confusing when someone changes their picture after a long time. Once someone even said to me something like 'I didn't realize that was your post because of the unfamiliar picture!'. I normally don't like changing my pfp very often, whether it's for that reason or laziness or just not sure what to change to. (I think I've had the same one on Facebook for like 3+ years, though admittedly I rarely go on there anymore.)

I just keep it as one of the current month's cave creatures. No particular reason why, I just like doing it. If one evolves by views then I'll set it to that, but if not I'll just pick whichever one I like more.I used to switch between my favourites a lot when I was younger, with event-themed ones every now and then, but that randomly changed to "pick a monthly and stick to it for that whole month" for whatever unknown reason a few years ago.

@twilightshineI just want my profile picture to be some reflection of me. (And I've almost always used animals or scenery elsewhere, occasionally a symbol. So being able to do so here was rather convenient.)And so far the couple creatures here that I've picked have done well I think. Each only showcasing some small element, but none the less important to me.I like keeping mine the same for the most part. Don't feel the need to change it.(It was so easy to find ones perfectly suited to what I wanted to portray.)And I wish other people would because I am one of those people who sort of prefer a visual aid when identifying other players. - BUT I understand that the unique mechanics here that it is really useful for upping a creature's stats and why others would want that boost. (Me, I prefer my creatures evolving by a more natural flow.)I understand also the people who like to change things up based around holidays, events, or moods. I think it's kind of fun. (At least people here generally don't change their usernames on a whim. I've been on forums where people did that for certain holidays and events or even in-jokes and it confused the heck out of me, even on the ones I was in on. like WHY?!)My Ookull isn't done growing, but it's been fun picking travels for it in the mean time. (i just haven't changed them as often as I planed.)

I usually set a creature that need views to evolve as my PFP. I'll probably change it to my Sockey if I don't have any I want to evolve.

@wonder404exe @twilightshineOmg this makes me wonder what creature people associate with me ^^I change mine pretty often for the same reason that, growing up, all my stuffed animals would be on the bed- I don't want anyone to feel left out! xD. I like switching it to the newest cool creature I get but also use it to evolve creatures, especially those that evolve with views!
