Quests Are Sometimes Asking For and Rewarding Retired Items

Hi all! 😊

Not sure if this is a bug or an intended change, but I've noticed that quests are now sometimes asking for and rewarding retired items. Is this intentional? If so, sorry to bother.

Huh, weird. I just got a Colubra Constellation as a reward for completing a Going Global quest. I know that's always available in October, but the item is technically listed as retired.

@tryvegan4theanimals I'm seeing the same thing... Yesterday I got asked for a Star of Bethlehem travel and today for an Independence Day Popsicle. I belive this is a bug, because if I remeber correctly, when the Quests got intruduced to the site, we got told that we would never be asked for retired items.

I also reveived a retired travel today (Hedge Maze).

In the space of the past 20 hours, I've received five or six retired items as rewards. Smitten smores, old travels, toys etc. Don't get me wrong, I like a rare reward, and I have historically received sandrodon rewards from the toybox requests, but the key word is rare. Getting so many in such a short period strikes me as really strange.

It definitely doesn't feel intentional, especially if quests are asking for retired items (I haven't experienced this yet).

I got asked for clouds on a travel and awarded an Raspberry Snowman Treat on a ice cream quest.

Fixed and changed! Quests will no longer ask for retired items.

Today no retired items as rewards for finishing quests ☹️ (yesterday every 5th, 6th was retired item, today I have done 20 quests and none)

@dragiigy I have a feeling that'll be the newly reinstated 'rarely' that OrderedChaos mentioned. You probably won't find any retired items for a whiiiile.
