Thank you for the welcome and all the travels, Daisy! They should help a lot as I try to complete quests for an Olimpt - it's been a dreamie of mine for as far back as I can remember, so I'd like to try and redeem it myself 😸

On that note, what is everyone currently working towards here on EC? Aside from questing, I've been wanting to get more into item collecting. One part of me is like, "but it's so expensive and there are so many retired items" while the other part has found such joy in restocking from NPC shops xD

I've also been considering whether to use different Travels for my critters. I've always loved Goldentree Meadows and liked an unified cove, but seeing tabs like Daisy's Gallery or Blue's Creature Cabinet makes me want to do something similar! Lovely work, you two ❤️

I think you may enjoy personalizing your creatures with (different) travels! It could be a new, fresh thing for you to do with your cove. When I first joined, I didn't add travels for a long time. I liked the simplicity of just the pet, as they felt lost when a travel was added. But with the "right" one applied, I think it can work out nicely! Not that all of mine are up to my standards yet lol. :,) That said, I really admire the same travel coves. It looks more cohesive to me for obvious reasons, and I'd love to have one myself, or at least maybe a cove list. But gosh, choosing just one favorite is rough! :-S

Maybe for item collecting, you can simplify it and only collect sets of the items you really, really love. Like when there's a set of four similar items and you like the idea behind the set if that makes sense. It wouldn't be working towards a complete collection, but it should be easier and possibly more fun. 😗

I'm currently working on travels and names for my creatures who are in need. :-)

@shine I used to have a (mostly) all Goldentree Meadows and Star of Bethlehem cove & was so committed to it for so long, but since coming back from hiatus earlier this year I’ve started finding unique travels for each pet and I’ve been having so much fun with it! It’s a lot of work to look through all of the travels and find the right one for every critter (and then also having to track down those travels, especially if they’re old CC travels or something, rip) but I know that once I’m finally done it’s going to look so good and feel so rewarding :’) That’s what I’ve been working on, along with working on my creature wishlist, renaming and reorganizing, and adding to my Pthali collection ❤️

You bring up a good point about something new and fresh 😊 Although, it wasn't all that hard to choose a favorite for me. I'm a huge Tolkien fan (my username used to be calaquendi, a word for "light elves, elves of light" in one of his constructed languages) and the Goldentree Meadows have always reminded me of Lothlórien, the forest where the golden mallorn trees grow. I have a vivid memory of the first time I read his description of the place, it very nearly drove me to tears and just typing this up I'm getting emotional again.

Besides that, I love how the soft colors go well with just about any creature - SoB could be hit or miss for me... and when I started out Goldentree Meadows was still in circulation so it wasn't that expensive xD

I do love your suggestion for item collecting, it's a smart way to go about it that should still be engaging and fun! I've been looking forward to Galleries ever since the feature was announced, and this would be like a mini gallery in a way. I could even shoot for a specific number of items used if I wanted to - thanks for the input 😊

@pjbuzzy I totally get you! I'm thinking I may actually do varied travels on a side account, so this way I could have a small "dream" cove with Goldentree Meadows on everyone while still having my fun with travels. I've always wanted a small cove but there are so many creatures I like, not all of whom are quite "a dream come true" tier, and this way I'd have the best of both worlds! I could even change my self-imposed rule ("no repeat creatures", mainly so I'm not blowing a ton of CC on the same few CSPs and freezes xD) to apply to my main only.

That's a beautiful sentiment for your reasoning behind Goldentree Meadows. :-] It's a gorgeous travel. I've always wanted to read LotR and you definitely make me want to even more, I just have such trouble starting and finishing things. 🥴 I'd say especially books, but it really is most things LOL. I love the vibe of the series and appreciate descriptive writing, so I think I'd like it cuz I'm someone who gets lost in the details (for better or worse).

EggCave goals... I keep telling myself that I'll enjoy having a lot of EC in my strongroom and that I should work to keep topping it up, but my common sanctuary (@commonlyknownas) is currently eating my EC out of my hands before I can think of saving it. But I have been finding a weird fulfilment in collecting a different common every month and adding it to the cove, so I guess I don't mind being poor in exchange.

I do a few other things to keep EggCave interesting - like personal daily goals? A new shop slot every day, a new auction (maybe two) on my trading side, x amount of quests (highfiveguy and I are currently competing with each other in that regard lol).

And also welcome Drag!! 🐉

For goals..
Since I'm a newer member (it's my third month - I joined in late June this year), I see new pets daily! I think a few days ago I saw a Fetti and totally fell for it. Like it is so beautiful! I still need to look through the whole Archive to see all the creatures but I'm lacking time lately.
I do try to collect all the Pets that I see and like! Which seems to be more than I thought at first.
And I try to give all my Pets beautiful travels. I mean, not everyone may like my taste, but that's fine!
And I also do try to get some Vend Creatures, namely the Unusith and the Olimpt!
I also managed to get my very first self bought in the Vend Creature! So I'm kinda proud of myself for that cx
