Just ran around the house for the past 7 minutes exclaiming in all caps. So, so excited. Can't believe it was just last week in blogs I mentioned I wanted a toothy scary fish... and here one is! *faints, dies, and is revived by the awesome*

good luck with the writing contest everyone! it's got heart-shaped eyes, oddly adorable. I like the colours. and it does remind me of an angler fish, ever since I watched Finding Nemo as kid I've been creeped out by them lol.

The only complaint I would have about it is how all stages looks the same, there's nothing to tell the creature is growing. We could put stage 4 as stage 2 and stage 2 as stage 4 for example, and there will be no difference. Only stage 3 as a difference (the bottom of the tail)

Should the last two stages be swapped? The third stage's longer tail makes it look "older" in my eyes, but I might be wrong.

As a kid I probably would have creeped me out but I like the heart shape and the fins. Great color scheme!

I love seeing more of the CDWC stuff! While I'm not much of a writer, I love seeing people's creative side come out in writing. 😊 Also its fun how some have been on a shorter time span, where people gotta challenge themselves to write fast but good.

@jadeikamono 100% the reason why I became active in them originally. (And it was easier back then... the forums were a LOT more active. and I still didn't make it in time.) Sorry you prob won't make it for this one... but you could get a head start for the next. good luck!

Love the creature but personally never really a fan when 2 stages look exactly the same :/. The last 2 stages look the same just turned.. other than that its pretty cool

just want to give a counterpoint to those against similar looking stages. On creatures I like, when well drawn it gives a sense of how the creature moves or seems animated. Makes it a bit more real in my mind. (Wish there was a toggle item instead of freezes tho.)
