Mature Adult Creatures

June 23, 2011 at 8:05 PM

We are excited to implement the biggest gameplay change ever to Egg Cave. Creature levels finally have meaning. Today marks the era of the Mature Adult creature.

All creatures Level 2000 and greater are considered "mature" and can gather food for themselves. In other words: they cannot die (regardless of happiness level).

Additionally, Tim's Food Shoppe will no longer provide service to creatures Level 2000 and greater.

Level 2000 and greater can gather food themselves??? YAY! Less cooking for me!

NOTE: This update has no effect on the Essence of Litsdnats potion in the Cash Shop Park.

crooton1 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:07 PM

Wait, I just realized alot of my eggs are under that, so never mind! Thanks Ian!

thepells4 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:07 PM

I'm gonna go through my cove and see how many creatures I have over level 2,000! 😸

thepells4 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:10 PM

52 of my creatures are over level 2,000! πŸ˜ƒ 15 about five that are frozen or not fully evolved, but still! xD Yay!! πŸ˜ƒ

crooton1 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:11 PM

Haha, eggs can collect food. πŸ˜‹

crooton1 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:12 PM

OMG. Lololololol. xD

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:12 PM

Ooooh, I like the fact that levels do something now. Think that covers all but a handful of my creatures too. 😊

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:13 PM

egg creatures that are >lvl2000 are strong troopers, yup 😊

crooton1 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:14 PM

Haha. xD

thepells4 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:15 PM

lwarlen • 23 Jun 2011, 8:16 PM

icymuffin • 23 Jun 2011, 8:16 PM

Awesome new feature~~!! πŸ˜ƒ So this will be the 200th blog... :]

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:18 PM

@icymuffin indeed it is! 200th blog! yay.

crowvict • 23 Jun 2011, 8:19 PM

Yay^^ This is so amazing πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Š Thanks for the new feature!!! @icymuffin 200 blog xD So cool^^

luvduv • 23 Jun 2011, 8:19 PM

This is great! I have to tell all my friends! @princeling @bunnyshadow @dancer These people are the best!

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:22 PM

49 out of 136 that need to get over 2000 in levels, and some of those are close. Shouldn't be to bad then to make all my creatures immortal

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:22 PM

Though once that happens I have no idea what I'll spend all my ec on. Tim's is the only really place I spend it. >.<

crescentfeather • 23 Jun 2011, 8:23 PM

Yay! Lufanda will stay with me forever! *snuggles Lufanda* Hang on... if I paid for a Lvl. 2000+ creature at Tim's, will I get a refund? ☹️

hvernon • 23 Jun 2011, 8:23 PM

Pooh I will never have a 2000 lv creature

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:24 PM

all >lvl2000 creatures currently being taken care of by tim's will be taken care of until the respective end date. 😊

crescentfeather • 23 Jun 2011, 8:25 PM

@ian no refund? ☹️

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:25 PM

@hvernon just try hard and put your creatures on a lot of web sites to gain views, clicks, and feeds and you'll be there in no time πŸ˜ƒ

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:25 PM

@crescentfeather no refund, sorry.

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:27 PM

@Ian Question: Will there eventually be other places to spend ec other than Tim's and the Travel Agency? Just curious.

crowvict • 23 Jun 2011, 8:32 PM

Hehe xD I just realized that only a few of my eggs are over 2000 xD *goes to start raising my eggs^^*

thepells4 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:33 PM

I think I'm gonna let my creature levels increase naturally. I wanna use forums and stuff on other sites, but I think it's too risky.

Ian • 23 Jun 2011, 8:34 PM

@orderedchaos yes, these are the features that are planned next.

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:35 PM

Oh thank goodness. I need a good ec sink.

cavernofeggs • 23 Jun 2011, 8:39 PM

Is the new update views, feeds, or clicks that apply?

thursdays_dove • 23 Jun 2011, 8:46 PM

SUPER SUPER SUPER like this new feature!

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 8:48 PM

So frozen creatures above level 2000 are not immortal?

crooton1 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:49 PM

@Whitefall, Yes, they are! 😊 Anything over level 2000 this immortal.

Orderedchaos • 23 Jun 2011, 8:49 PM

@whitefall No, they are. It says ALL creatures over level 2000 are immortal. 😊

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 8:51 PM

Yes, this is great! πŸ˜ƒ Only two more eggs, then I don't need Tim anymore! 😱 I wonder what I'll spend my EC on after that! 😱

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 8:52 PM

I gotta work on my eggs on my storage though, but that's okay. ;]

peppermintcowboy • 23 Jun 2011, 8:53 PM

astro2468 • 23 Jun 2011, 8:54 PM

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 9:03 PM

So eggs will die, just not the ones with Levels 2000+. ;] Not bad.

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 9:05 PM

^ I sounded evil there. πŸ˜‹ ^

Meteoroid • 23 Jun 2011, 9:07 PM

Yay, a nice way to put levels to use. This would make a level generator much less redundant and practical now.. Thanks for the update, IanπŸ˜ƒ

elluwah • 23 Jun 2011, 9:12 PM

Fantastic update! So pleased that it goes off the creature levels too, about time the levels mean something. 😊 Yay!

cubexline • 23 Jun 2011, 9:15 PM

Meteoroid • 23 Jun 2011, 9:16 PM

Gotta say those, these updates seem to be going on a roll at the moment. I bet a lot of it must deal in part with the release of V2

whitefall • 23 Jun 2011, 9:18 PM

@meteoroid - I agree. ^.^ I think he's releasing a new feature everyday now! 😱

silverserpent • 23 Jun 2011, 9:24 PM
