@indigofudge interesting color match and design. Hope it gets made!

raitonchidori • 1 August 2025 at 1:13 PM

I don't care if April 1st has been and gone, this must be a creature!

silky • 31 July 2025 at 9:51 PM

Yes!!!!!
The eyes are so cute - and the egg is somehow cute! hope this gets somewhere!

silky • 21 July 2025 at 9:46 PM

Yes!!! Me too! I really hope that it comes out! ( I would definitely get it )
I think it would be better as an April Fools day creature but if it can't be that, I hope it at least is an April Monthly or something

indigofudge • 21 July 2025 at 9:25 PM

@silky

there usually is!! but it doesn't have to be an April Fool's creature. Maybe it could just be in the month of April. thank you for your confidence!!! I'd LOVE to have the Silligoose chosen. hehe

silky • 21 July 2025 at 8:48 PM

Wait is there an event on April Fools?
I dunno how you'd get the Silligoose ( I really want one when they come out )

indigofudge • 21 July 2025 at 8:45 PM

@silky

that's so CUTE!!

silky • 21 July 2025 at 7:52 PM

Yeah! Maybe one is colour at the end, and the rest a B&W ( like you said)
Maybe the 1st stage is in the TV ( like the hat is displayed on a old - fashioned TV )
But that idea i'm not too sure of

indigofudge • 21 July 2025 at 7:43 PM

@silky

oooo!!! maybe the final stage could be in color, to represent the passage of time in film technology? i'd had them all black and white as an homage to old hollywood silent films/physical comedy films like buster keaton, charlie chaplin, and laurel and hardy

silky • 21 July 2025 at 7:29 PM

Oh yeah! I love that!
if it were in colour or brown like really old movies that would be cool?

indigofudge • 21 July 2025 at 11:49 AM

@silky

Thank you!! Yes, the art is linked in the post 😊

silky • 21 July 2025 at 1:04 AM

Yes! love that! Is there a way to see how it looks tho?

indigofudge • 15 July 2025 at 11:37 PM

@nut

thank you!! and oooh YES, that would be a good gimmick!!

@dragrawr

THANK YOU SM!!!! I'm really into old physical comedy-- Donald O'Connor's performance of "Make 'Em Laugh" as Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain? PERFECTION!! And the black and white physical comedy films are so iconic!! I was...

dragrawr • 15 July 2025 at 11:30 PM

@indigofudge UR JOKIN!!!! I love this so much oh my gosh... The description is everything- we need an old-timey comedy goose ASAP!!!! ❤️

nut • 15 July 2025 at 11:29 PM

indeed, a dapper fellow 🎩

I like the grayscale idea, almost makes me think of the site trivias where you have to identify a pixelated grayscale blob haha (ultimate april fools joke?)

indigofudge • 15 July 2025 at 9:21 PM

@shirothekittehlover
thank you!! And omg yes, though that was unintentional! I've been playing EggCave for eight years but I fear I am not caught up on all the creature descriptions. Maybe the Silligoose is a cousin of the Nibinne? Thanks so much for replying!!

shirothekittehlover • 15 July 2025 at 9:17 PM

@indigofudge
Sounds like a counterpart to the Nibinne :0 love the everything!! ^^

indigofudge • 15 July 2025 at 12:33 PM

@Isis

Thank you so much!!! Yes-- geese are my favorite animal, and I wasn't finding any creatures that were specifically geese. We have Honks, of course, but those are ducks. So I thought I'd combine my love of Old Hollywood with my love of geese and design the Silligoose!! Thanks Isis, and YESSS...

isis • 15 July 2025 at 12:30 PM

@indigofudge

This would be a super fresh concept for the site, I don't think we have anything like it! You can definitely see the influences you mentioned reflected in the design and I love it 😃 It's so cute how the goose grows to fit into the hat, and that name is just perfection 😆 I think the...

About Silligoose Eggs
Isn’t this egg just the silliest thing you’ve ever seen? Nestled safely in a bowler hat, it appears to be in grayscale.

Hi @bloominqcorvine and welcome back to Egg Cave!
1. The items (food, ice cream, books, etc) can be consumed by any creature, and they can give 1 stat to your creature, depending on the item (if its food you gain 1 feed, if it's book you gain 1 view, etc). Some players also collect items.
2. The...

@jajce
I don't feel the XC is as utilized as much as it could or should be. The Monthly Challenge/Daily Tasks has helped a bit and I definitely see an difference in my credits when it's a task. I've also noticed an increase in use during events that feature feeding (Valentine's day and Halloween)....

@distorted
Happy 5 years!!!
I've really been enjoying rewatching some nostalgic shows at the moment, haha. I've also been watching some animes, though! Your Lie in April (depressing experience), My Hero Academia, and Toilet-bound Hanako-kun just to name a few. 😊
