@fiapmon Welcome to Eggcave! I hope you have fun here! You can check out the Newbie's Guide to get a better feel for how the site works, but for your questions: Creatures below level 20 can die if their happiness gets too low (try to keep their h...

@dragonpets Hi! I would prefer to stay around 50k ec for the Karnakai as that is how much they're based at in Nut's Value Guide! If you wish to trade them for a creature around 150k ec in value there are creatures at @Kaizen UFT!@hinokazes !! thank you so much ;; I am soo happy its your favorite...

Hey everyone! ^-^Not sure if this has been a suggestion or an idea to the 'Ark Gods', but wanted to throw this out there as a potential idea.I know some sites do monthly subscribing, where users would subscribe (monthly or annual) and they'd get a monthly bonus or perks for subscribing. The...

@mindassala thank you!!! and there will be more to be added ;D@snowywinter that's great that it works on your tablet! i was quite worried about how the html would look on the phone so i recommended that everyone uses desktop mode to use the dressing room. as for your issues, i personally hav...

@myriadium Oooh! These updates are super exciting! I was already finding fun new combinations on the creatures with travels just randomly testing it out (and it was working fine on my little tiny economy tablet.)Only snag I had is when I tried directly typing in the changing room link at firs...

Hi there! been an on and off again pet site player for year (neopets and marapets had me in a chokehold as a kid and more recently sites like pokefarm have been a fun distraction). this site looks fun happy to be here π

@platypupthere used to be a list on the fansite Eggcavity, I *think* it is something myriadium might be working on on hers (I need to fix my computer. it doesn't go to any website other than Eggcave any more >.<)https://eggcave.com/forums/topic/79309https://sites.google.com/view/cavegg/But...

As it says in the title, Please make creature names clickable in Halloween Fair Prizes...Most of the rest of the site has been updated so that creature names link to their associated Archive entry.Hopefully I'm not wrong in assuming it wouldn't be a conflict with the Adopt code since it's avai...

@myriadium@snowwallI was actually waiting to see if anyone else had issues, or if the work was a placeholder. As far as I knew I've never had a Google Doc not display properly before. I'm a bit embarrassed as I'm not as tech savvy as i used to be, but it's not displaying much on mobile. (And I...

@minnie298a yay great! glad to hear π@snowwall ooh thank you for letting me know about this! i might contact you thru PMs once i'm working on this because i actually don't know much about web dev; was just planning on using google sites to show everything off. if there's anything i can do to ma...

Honestly, plain text was easier for me. Beats searching all of the names by myself, anyway, but I'm worried about future Halloweens!See, I use an older browser. The newer the site, the more chances the site refuses to work (sometimes literally saying "nah, go away, browser too old, we can't guar...

I wondered how you managed to feature so prominently on the monthly feeds. Now I know! lol I've been feeding yours on nut's list. Gonna start feeding here. Gotta be in it to win it! π 4

hello halloween haunters,i've recently felt the urge to catalogue everything on this site, and as such I was able to gather the names of all the travels for all your Travels of Terror needs:[b]https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRR9HwZEovr6lKWkfbDW2puWJU3IMvIbxPQIgmDfc9whjE29fam...

Oh my GOSH!! I am OBSESSED!! The art is STUNNING, and the description is so vivid and fun!! I'm a SUCKER for marine creatures, I am very delighted by the leafy seadragon inspiration!! I'd kill to have these on site!!

@twilight_raptor Creature-Level equation:ceil((Views + Clicks + Feeds) / 3) / 100)where ceil means round upSo taking your profile Tawny for an example, it's stats add up to 4755, divide that by 3 equals 1585, divide that by 100 equals 15.85. Round up to 16, and that's the Tawny's current l...

@nut The free XC is slightly limited. I think it's 30 days of inactivity and your creatures are removed. I'm not 100% sure on weather that is XC exclusive activity or just any site activity though, which would change how it impacts things. As I said above, I don't mind the credits being given out,...
kitariki • 19 September 2025 at 2:03 AM
@nut Oh that's true! There seems to be about 4,000 creatures in the exchange, so that's a lot of free credits every day... I think the other site's click exchange has a "placeholder" creature if there are no others in the exchange and it makes you nominate how many credits you would like to spen...
nut • 18 September 2025 at 9:07 PM
part of the reason I think the exchange stagnates (and sorry if it's already been said) is because of the weird feature where if you end the day with 0 xc you get 10 xc again the next morning? honestly this has always been weird to me because there are SO many inactive users whose eggs are just lang...

Okay so I have been hyper fixated on this site for a few days now (partially thanks to online training that was very slow). I think the suggestions are great. Increasing the number of creatures per page and/or feeding directly on the page would go a long way to make it easier to click. I also enjoy...
