"Come ON, Traitor," Loyal whispered. Their card had been pulled, but his sister refused to move from the spot. Using his left hand, he yanked their center arms. "Let's GO."
bubble_tree • 28 November 2011 at 10:13 PM
@smilies Not sure. Wouldn't that mean more people to handle and ~probably kill off? π I suppose you can, then.@redfire77 Alrighty!@cqpkytty Mmm, okay. π EDIT: Wait, your BOTH going in? Wait... I'm lost. Are they picked as one or girl then boy? o.O
smilies • 28 November 2011 at 10:14 PM
Aww, it's ME? Jamie thought with a sigh. They want me to get up there? Oh boy. All those eyes on me.What a drag.
bubble_tree • 28 November 2011 at 10:17 PM
@smilies Hehe, Jamie. πCloris knew this was going to happen. her parents wanted a first child that was a boy. And apparently she wasn't a boy. She was the first born daughter, and neither of parents favored her. That's probably why they immediately submitted her name. They wanted her gone.'Just wait,' Cloris thought. "I won't be gone for long...'
cqpkytty • 28 November 2011 at 10:27 PM
@bubble_treeOne of them was picked, so they both had to go.I.E. "Loyal" slip was put in the boys, "Traitor" slip in the girls. One of them was picked.---Loyal finally dragged Traitor to the stand. Nobody volunteered, as was expected. He was sure that everyone thought of this as a convenient way to get rid of a pair of "mutants", as they were called by their peers.

Jason pulled at the sleeve of his youngest brother,Charlie, trying in vain to keep him moving. Even at the age of seven, he knew what this was about. They all did. Jason's younger twelve-year-old brother, Eric, scowled, but was actually very worried about Jason. "Don't worry, Eric." Jason whispered to his sibling. "Out of all the names, who would pick mine? I didn't even go for (commission? π) this year." Finally, the male tribute's name was called out. "Jason Rocher." Jason stumbled backwards, filled with shock. He felt his father's hand tighten around his shoulder, trying to comfront him in this bleak moment. Eric stared up at him like he was looking at a dead man. Which, he probley was. Jason quickly turned to Eric and whispered. "Take care of Dad and Charlie, okay?" Eric nodded meakly at his brother's words. Jason hugged his two brothers, gave a nod in his Dad's direction, and pushed though the crowd onto the stage. And all he could think was, "I can't believe this is real." "The District 9 Tributes Everyone!" (Is anyone else in District 9? XD )

Veridis stared in disbelief and outrage when they called her name and she realized her parents wouldn't be able to buy her way out of this one. She'd never really paid any attention to the games: watching was compulsory, but that didn't actually mean she WATCHED. "Excuse -me-!" She was insulted when a Peacekeeper grabbed her arm and yanked it free to stride onto the stage. She glanced at the other boy and was extremely frinked off to see he looked bored out of his skull. And he was only, what? Fifteen? Veridis was practically hyperventilating. This was like a freaking bombshell! Like, O.M.G.! Her poor darling parents! Her amazing talented friends! Her beautiful career and LIFE stretching out in front of her! O.M.G.! Her family business! Her poor darling mother and father, what would they do without her? Who would there be to give her friends tips on the newest trends, who would point out the best shopping deals? And that freaking P.R.I.C.K. was BORED!!! Everyone was looking at her expression with AWK-WAAARD faces.

Cloris was called by her district escort in a funny accent, like all the other Capitol citizens. "Claris Sss-eye-ties" it sounded. But then the escort corrected herself and said easily, "Cloris Cities." When a Peacekeeper attempted to grab her arm, she swatted it away and the Peacekeeper yelped out in pain. She had a strong hit for a 17 year old. 'One more year and I'll be lumber-jacking all day for the rest of my life," Cloris thought. She walked steadily up the stage, watching her parents become eager for her to leave. Surly, they would've visit her in the Justice Building. Maybe her younger brothers, but that was it. Cloris eyed her parents with a poker face and their excitement died off as they clutched their sons. "The District 7 Tributes!" the escort announced after the boy was called up. (Where's my D-7 tribute boy? XD) Cloris glanced at the boy and quickly faced forward again. If he was smart enough, they would stay together in the arena.

@bubble_treeYay! Thanks for accepting (and BTW, her full name is Peaches Mendi)Peaches listened, almost in a daze, for who would participate in the next Hunger Games. Whoever it was, she was going for it anyway. Why? She had been trained from birth to do this. This was her moment. An obscure name was called out, nobody who was one of her fellow trainees, anyway. With a confident expression, she stepped out to the platform. "I volunteer," she called in a clear, crisp voice, so that the crowd, and the whole of Panem, would hear. She was going to go, and nothing would stop her now.Heck, she had been called to one of the previous Hunger Games, but somebody else, who was a victor, volunteered for her. But she wasn't ready for that time, anyway. As a voice with a Capitol accent affirmed her decision, her heart leapt. She was finally going to go. Most children never even had the honour, despite their training. Even if she died, she would still be revered. Goody.
taffy789 • 29 November 2011 at 12:48 AM
@bubble_tree So we can make a second character too? π Like in the same District?
dewpaw • 29 November 2011 at 12:49 AM
Spirit watched as the girl volunteered to go. "Wow." He muttered, he would watch the games to see who she killed, because she seemed deadly enough. "Spirit Evans!" The Capitol escort called his name. Shoving his hands into his pockets Spirit began to climb the steps to the stage. He nodded to the girl, as the escort gave him a big slap on the back. "Someone looks excited!" She giggled after announcing "The District 4 Tributes!"

Silvia was Pi-IS-ESSED this year for the reapings. Her aura must have been radiating violence bcause instead of people keeping a few feet in distance no one would walk a yard close to her- other then her family. Her mothe was being a jerk and her father didnt care if her name was chosen. Only my little sister, Selena cared, Only Selena. Suddenly it was silent. Time for reaping."This annual 100th hunger games girl tribute is... Silvia Zales!"No volunteers. Typical district 8.She walked silently up onto the stage and everyones eyes followed her, she could here people whispering "Its sylvia, she might win, she has the sharp pretty looks and the guts to kill"I was actually excited, now i can take all my anger out on people. My time to kill- i meant shine.Silvia smiled coldly at the audience and waited for the capitol escortee to call the boys name.(who'll be the boy for District 8?) @bubble_tree

@bunnyshadow Most of us don't have district partners, so no one at the moment. You can make one though. π I'm allowing you guys to make another so we can fill some spots. @taffy789 Same as above. ^^^

Peaches looked at her male companion. She knew him well enough, he was Spirit from school. She could tell by his almost terrified expression that he would hate to be killed by her. In the end, though, they would both be desired as 'Career' tributes, so they were safe. She had studied enough of the older Hunger Games to know that District Four tributes were desired for their skills in the competition. When the end was dawning, she'll just pick off the other tributes, one by one...Stroking her peach hair, she sighed, and asked "Do you have a strategy? Mine's to pick off as many as possible on the first day, then take care of the rest soon enough." She quietly pondered the moment he would be at her mercy.
bunnyshadow • 29 November 2011 at 1:09 AM
Silvia was thinking about her strategy at the games for the last few days. She's decided to show people how violent she can be to scare them, then find some knives, maybe a bow and arrow and wait for tributes to come. No need wasting your energy trying to find them. She's also decided to see if she could join a career pack tyen pick them off when their asleep.

The District 7 Justice building looked somewhat rotten from the out and inside. Certain parts had to be redone in wood, not metal, so some things were rotting off. Cloris was taken into a room, circular by the looks of it, and waited for on of her brothers to come in.The first was Michael. He was 14 and was spared because of this Quarter Quell, and was the first boy, but second eldest. Michael sat down on a chair next to Cloris. "If you die," he started. "I'm going to die. I don't want to be left with them. So don't you go and die just to get away." Michael was referring to their parents. All their parents wanted was a mature, loving son. But with the way they raised their four kids, that was impossible."I'm not going to die." Cloris looked him in the eyes. He was trying to look away, but his sniffling was too obvious. She pulled his face back to face hers. "Hey. You're not going to lose me in there. Those stupid Careers can kiss my sorry butt when I win." Michael chuckled, but then there was the Peacekeeper at the door. He started dragging Mike out, but stopped when Cloris pulled Mike for a hug. She held him or another minute or so and kissed him on the forehead. "You be good," she whispered. Tears pooled in her eyes and as Michael crossed the doorway, he threw a small clip with a paper, then the door closed. Michael had thrown her an small plastic ax clip along with a picture from when they were kids.No more visitors after that.

The other tribute, some older girl whose name Jamie had already forgotten, was chatting non-stop. She'd been at it for over an hour. He'd zoned out after about 5minutes and vaguely wondered if she was still talking about the same thing as she'd begun, which was hair styles in the Capitol. He didn't risk finding out. This was going to be a nightmare. What a drag.
dewpaw • 29 November 2011 at 1:18 AM
@celesteSpirit shrugged, she obviously thought her was scarred. Not true. He was prepared to kill. "I'll try to pick off as many people as I can. Slit some throats, burn some skin." A lock of hair had gotten in his face again, "Pfft!" He blew it out of the way. "So, who are our Mentors?"
