Raven jerked her head round to look at him. "I didn't say weaker," she snapped. "What makes you think it was ever strong?" She stepped to the left and pressed the side of her arm to the wall. A touch screen appeared and she started plaring around with it. "Ooh, look, I can change the terrain now!" She exclaimed excitedly, distracted.

"Somewhat defensive, Shadow?"
'There's something up with this girl and her power.' Zach realized, and watched Raven start messing around with the terrain.
"I know. Make it underwater. With man eating eels. Like that one game. With those strange green pipes everywhere." Zach trailed off, trying to remember the name of a game he hadn't even heard about or played in years. It, like many other things, seemed to be merely a memory, very faint.

She glowered at the question and didn't answer.
Raven then blinked. "I don't know that one..." But she set it to underwater, pressed a few more buttons and snatched an air tank, strapping it to her back. "Pity that water doesn't allow any intelligent conversations," she smirked, and slapped the diving mask over the lower half of her face. "Flippers?" She giggled slightly, her voice muffled by the mask.

"Wow. I was just being sarcastic. I didn't even realize it had an underwater feature. It seems kind of useless, unless you have water based powers..."
Zach paused, a shiver being sent up his spine.
He didn't know if he should even trust this girl or not. His power would be near useless fully submerged in water, since, in fights, he mainly relied on reflexes to dodge attacks. Everything was going to be slowed down in water, and it wasn't as if he could even fight as expertly...
He reached for the dial to change to terrain.
"The water seems fun and all, but I really don't want to get wet right now." Zach smirked, keeping his cool.
"I say Grassland or Mountains. MUCH more useful training."

Raven pouted, removing her mask. "You're gonna back out? Don't tell me you're SCARED," she taunted. "Kitty don't wanna get wet. I got all dressed up too. But I'll let you off JUST THIS ONCE," she smirked, letting the tank drop to the floor. "But now it's my turn to chose," she poked her tongue out at him and her fingers flew across the screen, adjusting the setting expertly. "Done. Now we get to chose weapons."
With a simple touch, a wall flipped around to reveal an extremely diverse selection. "Pussies first," she laughed.

It was Zach's turn to scowl.
"Well, genius, I already HAVE my weapons, if you haven't noticed the two swords I still have in their cases on my back." he grumbled.
He didn't care what terrain Raven picked, because his power would tell him what it was ahead of time, if he focased it. Sometimes, if it was dangerous, it would tell him by itself.
It wasn't going off now, so he didn't bother to check what terrain she'd picked.
"Now Shadow, don't waste all day trying to decide, I know how young ladies such as yourself can be so indecisive!" he mocked her, grinning.



(OCC :How do you spell the word that the cases for the swords? XP )

Raven frowned. "Those old things really the best you can do? Oh well," she stepped forward, and immediately found her old favorites. She'd lost them that time... They'd taken her AGES to save up for. You didn't earn wages at IOD, but there was a stupid complicated point system for weapons, because the weapons master was a picky jerk. The guy also made sure you could USE them before he'd let you have them. In the training rooms however, you could use whatever you wanted. (The stuff wasn't real, they only worked in the grainy rooms. Like she'd said, AMAZING technicians.)
But then, now that she was in the First Division, she could use a lot more... She considered using a flamethrower for a while, for a laugh, but it wasn't really her thing... Besides, the terrain...
She smiled and fitted the weapons into her uniform. "Ready."
She stepped through the door and into...
A waist-deep swamp.
Or would have, if she hadn't designed the terrain. There were was solid land, and then the ground would suddenly give way and you'd fall into the icky camouflaged water.
So she stepped onto a spot of dry land, which looked just as stable as the patch a few inches to her left, which wasn't.
"Ever been to A-L before?" She called out to Kitty-boy. "It's pure hell, unless you like being completely coated in mud!" She laughed.

"Hey. Rise and shine, sleepyhead," Blaine prodded Annabelle gently on the shoulder.

"Of course. I've been here for...A long time." Zach called back, grimacing at all the mud.
Well, that was ONE thing worse than water.
Eh.
He wasn't good at first attacks. So he just stood there for a few seconds, staring at the muck with distain.

"Call me sleeply head again and I'll end you." Annabell joked, muttering sleepily into the rock, and instincly moving away from Blaine.
"Five more minutes Mom."

"How old are you?" Raven giggled a little, but kept flicking a knife in and out of it's concealed sheath.

Blaine winced. "Fine, then, AURORA, but if you really want that bed, we should get moving soon. Then again, you'd be pretty good bait... You look like her too. Well, the hair... Nice haircut by the way," he was tired, and one of the effects of that was talking too much, or so Zan always said.
You're definitely talking too much, Zan agreed. Mother.
Blaine ignored him.

"108. My power is immortality. You couldn't get rid of me if you tried." Zach answered in monotone, the reply coming off of the top of his head.

"Who's Aurora? Isn't she like, a Disney Princess or something?" Annabell sat up, rubbing sand out of her eyes. "Okay, I think we killed enough Ferals. Hopefully, we'll be able to leave."

"EWWW," Raven pretended to be grossed out. "I guess those anti-wrinkle treatments really do work then! Do you use Clearsil? How come you're still like, fit and stuff? I thought old people started to melt in their eighties. Do you have a fridge you like to sit in?" She giggled in a strangely girly way that wasn't really like her, then focussed again. "Seriously though, how would immortality stop you from getting lost? I'm not a goldfish." She hopped back a few steps, without looking where she was stepping, but each time she landed on solid ground.

"Yep. You got me. I'm really a vampire." Zach said that in the same tone, without glancing at Raven, but something made him pause and look at her weirdly.
"..... Wait, out of all the clueless animals-slash-inanimate objects you pick, you say goldfish? I would've went with lamp."

"We GOT RID OF at least four to five." Annabell still didn't want to be reminded that she was slaughtering people. She still felt guilty, even if it was kind of fogged up by the fact she wanted to survive.
"Oh, and i've never saw that movie before."
She didn't say anything out loud, but she did give Blaine a face that said, 'So you've watched a movie about Princesses? And are bringing it up?'.

"Mm," she said thoughtly. "Vampires go for the pretty ones right? Should I take that as a complement, or should I kick his ass for spewing such a load of crud?"

"Really?" When he was younger of the most exciting things in his life used to be when one of the nicer (lady) scientists brought him a cheesy DVD. He shrugged. "Well, I kind of did prefer the Little Mermaid..."

"I only believe in luck." Zach replied, not glancing at Raven.
He took a few steps forward in the swamp without even checking if the ground was solid with his foot.
He didn't need to. His power already told him everything, including where the ground was solid or not.

Zach moved his foot out of the way calmly, and then bent down to pluck the knife out of the mud.
"Thanks for the knife Shadow." Zach chuckled, and started twirling it on his fingers.

Then turned the page.
It was full of hearts and the symbol for the Olympics.

So, awareness, intuition... Or seeing the future? If the latter, that was bad. He hadn't seen the avalanche earlier, but maybe it only worked sometimes, or if he was concentrating.
She was tempted to get him while he bent over, but decided against wasting another knife, although she had plenty.
She walked around to her left, wondering if he could keep up.

Zach watched Raven as she walked around, blinking.
"This is getting boring. Zach is unamused." he muttered under his breath.

"I think the teleporter should be back soon... Hopefully." Annabell smiled.

Zan was in a sardonic mood. "Because she hates your very existence?"
Blaine blinked twice and slowly raised a hand to his face. Had Zan just... Taken control?
Shut up, he hissed to the feline prescense.
I was just having fun, he answered reproachfully.

Raven frowned. She knew the layout. Memorized. She wasn't going to fall. She ignored him and stopped when she was less than a meter behind Zach. She poked him hard in the back.

Blaine muttered, "Sorry," then turned away.
A person suddenly materialized a short distance away.

She started to stroll off in their direction.

She turned the page.
And inside the bright pink highlighted hearts, was the symbol for the Olympics.
"An Olympic sport." It made alot more sense now.

@trish Definitely Blaine. He always loved the 5OO meter sprint! 😃 Working up a sweat= his thing! 😃

Zan and him had the exact same thought. Blaine reached out to grab Kaylie's arm, to stop her. "Definitely Feral!"
But the Feral teleporter forward and kicked Blaine back, the latter was caught by surprise, but managed to get an ice shield up just enough to stop one of his ribs being broken.

Raven laughed, stepped forward again, and leaned forward to rest her head on his shoulder.
