@Asi I had no idea what to write, especially with Anna. XD
She's there alright...In the background
WATCHING.
o.o
She's right behind you right now... //creeper mode//
~~~
"With you on that one." Annabell muttered in agreement, shifting slightly on the cafeteria bench. (hint hint. XD)
"The people here are all crazy-The Leaders especially." Annabell added with a sour note, remembering her conversation with Eight.
"I hope we get some better peop-" She paused. Was she wishing the Leaders to their deaths? ...She decided not to let the relavation bother her.
"Anyway, I can't believe this Truce thing. Talk about "doing as the Romans do". I'm honestly surprised one of the Leaders isn't in a toga and commanding them to release the tigers." She couldn't help but smile a bit at her own joke.
Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at the screen, and gagged when she saw the battle was already viciously under way, with the challenger, 116, quickly disposing of of 134's weapons, and cutting him up with his own weapon, something that resembled a sickle.
Annabell quickly tore her eyes away from the screen. "I shouldn't have looked." she commented, now stubbornly staring at her pants instead, picking at some specks of dust that were against the black cloth.
"Seriously, they still haven't even bothered to clean up the blood off the ground between matches.", Annabell grimaced.
The screen behind her blared the winner was the challenger, 116, who managed to win against his weaker opponent by death.
Riley thought about what he knew about the Leaders. Eight, Definitely. Two, crazy? ... Seemed a pretty sound assumption.
Following that, he turned slightly white, Annabell's talk doing nothing to quell whatever nerves he might have.
"Oh," he let out his breath slowly when he heard that the match had ended, willing it to take with it his worries. "I guess I have to go then." Riley definitely didn't want Annabell to know it was him who was on next, though he supposed she'd find out soon enough, he didn't tell her, merely raising a hand in quick farewell before allowing a teleporter to whisk him off to the arena.
He looked at the ground, unable to stop himself. On doing so, he was promptly surprised more of the audience had not emptied their stomachs. "Hey," he turned to the guy the previous people had told their challenge to, "I am not stepping on that field until it's cleaned."
The guy, named Steve, then preformed the amazing feat of head-desking without a desk, table, wall or any such head-deskable object.
Because a SIM had been set up for use on the arena, they were able to alter the stage, such as creating a perfectly flat surface for the ordinary fights, so that no other elements could get in the way.
Unfortunately... It turns out that they were evil.
@Asi
Steve is now my new favorite character. |D It's official. XD
~~~

Annabell simply blinked as Riley teleported away without another word, a bit taken back by the sudden disappearance.
However, she got over it quickly, waving it off and reminding herself that teleportation was common, and most likely something she should start getting more used to.
Upon the sudden end to the oh-so-deep-and-involving conversation they had been having, it started to slowly sink into Annabell's mind that maybe she should have questioned the boy a bit more on his exact knowledge of this place...There had been something wrong with his memories, but Eight had fixed that...Right?
She wasn't completely sure, but it was worth a shot.
Also, she doubted that Riley knew about a certain loose cannon sister...
Annabell wondered when she was going to stop being the bearer to bad news-It was hard trying to deliver sensivity information when you do know how people will react.
She made a note to break it to him later.
Maybe.

@taffy789 Haha X3

"Right," Riley sighed; he could read minds, after all. He turned and checked out the rankings so far.

One.
Two; Spike.
Three; Col.
Four; Damon.
Five; 113, Zach. (CR7)
Six; 116. (CR4)
Seven; 162. (CR6)
Eight.
Nine; Karen, 129. (CR8)

He knew he ought to chose high if he wanted to help Raven... In that case, the best option available to him would be challenging the person in Three's place. (Challenging Two sure would be amusing, but dumb as...)
Riley looked upwards at the leader's box; Three was there all right. But on seeing the guy, he recalled a piece of advice he'd once received; that even if you knew what was coming, there wasn't always a way to avoid it...
... Forget that, Riley could see even from this distance he wouldn't be able to find a way into that guy's head. No, he wouldn't challenge Three.
So, Four, then?
He told his decision to Steve, who's icepack was melting into his hair.

.... (Now what the hell do I do? o-o Uhm.)
...

Both males took their places in the (unfortunately still icky) arena. The current Four seemed surprisingly cool about the situation; he actually had the nerve to stand there buffing up his nails while he waited.
Actually, this guy... Riley continued to stare at Damon, uncomprehending. What was with him? Damon was wearing... A shiny silver jacket with large gold buttons over a deep, deep purple shirt and black leather pants.... The shoes matched the jacket and his scarf the pants... And that ridiculously gelled hair... It looked like he was going to a fashion parade, not a horrible fight to the death! Was he a part of some kind of religion where they believed you needed to die in your best...?
Well, the girls in the audience were going crazy in support of the super model. Riley had never felt like he'd been in such a stupid situation, having to fight a guy who looked like, well, THAT.
Riley stuck his hands in his pockets and sighed a little, exasperated. What had he gotten himself into....?

When they had announced the next match, Annabell couldn't help it, she glanced up at the screen.
'It is better to look now', she figured, 'At least it's not when blood is being spilt, and who knows, it might be someone I know..."
She drifted off, her eyes widening in surprise, not expecting anyone she knew to be on the screen, neverless somebody she was just conversing with literally seconds ago.
Annabell let out a nervous cough, and then turned her face away from the screen. If anything happened-Gosh, she hated these thoughts-she would hate to even see a face that was even mildly familiar to her die... But, hopefully, Riley knew what he was doing...As long as Eight didn't fry his brain as badly as Annabell had figured.
Still...Curiosity set in, and, instead of the TV, Annabell set her sights on a couple of Four-Fangirls a few tables away, ready to gauge their reactions to see how the fight was going... Annabell was interested to see how the "undead" guy could fight.

(I always feel as if Annabell is a stalker. XD Somehow... XD )

Meanwhile, deep in the wastelands known as A-I....

"Hey. Heyy... Hey!" He walked over to the bed, sighed, and pinched the guy's unconscious cheek. No response. That irked him.
"Don't freaking ignore me! Oi!" He began shaking the sleeper violently.
"... Mmphh...." The sleeping person lolled unresponsively in his grip, and started drooling slightly.
"Aiyahh! Gross!" He leapt back, dropping the sleeper in disgust.
'He' was about 17 years old, on the tall side, but not awkwardly so, olive-skinned, had deep brown eyes and a wild mane of golden hair, and walked with a strange, liquid motion, a lightness of foot which seemed unnatural.
The room he was in was dark and spacious, but not large. It was also coated in a thick, thick layer of ice. It was for this reason that he'd been elected to go, because most everyone else had slipped over and hit something at least once, or had some issue with the cold.
Struck by a brainwave, he walked over to one of the abstract ice sculptures that filled the room, and found a part where the ice formed a bowl and water had gathered. With some effort, he snapped it off, and, (ignoring the fact that he was steadily losing the feeling in his arm), brought it over to the sleeper and poured the contents on the guy's face. "Wake the HELL up!"
The other, black hair now dripping wet, groaned and rolled over. "... Leave me alone...." came a mumble. "I want to sleep..."
"Zan, it's not going to happen," he told the sleepyhead impatiently. "You CAN'T go back to your unconscious state now. Rai- uh, 'Riley' wants us, so you better move it!" Driven past annoyance, he lifted his foot up over 'Zan's' face, intending to stomp on it, but before he could, his leg froze solid.
"Kyaaaa! Zan!" he yelped.
"I'm awake already," the ice-power grumbled. "Just give me five more minutes, alright?"

Back at the arena, Falchion's base...

The fight started. Neither of them moved.

Col shook his head. "Damon's power is self-regeneration to the point where he's practically immortal (Kind of similar to myself in a way). This challenger seems to me a mental kind of type. When Damon figures that out, he'll realize he has to go on the offense, if he still can," he muttered under his breath. "Ah, I don't really want to watch any more, I'm starting to feel sick..."
The battlefield looked seriously icky. Eww.....

@Asi

It seemed that Eight had completely lost interest in her complete surroundings, as she hadn't spoken one syllable since Thomas' death, even at Two's appearance on the field followed by Col's revealing remarks. Then again, it was debatable how much she really knew about all of the Leaders, or if she even cared enough to find out, truthfully.
So instead of paying close attention to the battle like she had been doing, Eight now switched to humming a tune that sounded like a mixture of "Happy Birthday" and "Paralyzer", while sneaking around, absent mindly doodling on anything she could find in the Leader's Box. The seats, floor, walls all quickly became victims of Eight's ballpoint pen vandalization.
In fact, Eight was sneaking up rather closely to Col's arm while he was busy whispering to himself, and attempted to tattoo a flaming chicken onto his arm.

(I would imagine Eight's doodles are a mixture of incomplete statistics, animals, and stick figures dying terrible deaths. XD Because she's just that sweet on the inside. 😃 )

Back in the rebel's base, A-I...

"My foot is so numb, I can barely walk," he complained continuously to Zan as they made their way through the tunnel system. "Do you know how much that sucks when you are Speed? Thanks a lot, Zan," he grumbled.
After ten more minutes of this, Zan finally stopped walking and turned his cold, ice blue eyes on him. "Chase," he spoke in a slow, disinterested drawl. "I don't care."
"... Chh." Chase narrowed his eyes, but turned away and didn't respond. He didn't even know why he bothered being so polite to that ice-jerk, who called Chase by his true name and yet wouldn't tell him any but his 'chosen' name in return... Seriously rude.
They walked in silence right to their destination, where upon arrival, Zan manipulated ice to push the door open without having to even lift a finger. What a show-off.
'Riley' was sitting forward uncomfortably in a comfy-looking chair, his attention commanded by a large psychic screen. Chase immediately recognized the two girls in it; one sixteen year old, the object of 'Riley's' interest, and along with one very small girl.
"She won't join," Chase stated.
'Riley' shook his head. "No, it's not that. They're heading for the Glaeroes."
"You think they'll bother Mael?" the other questioned, surprised.
'Riley' only shrugged. "Nothing to worry about. On the other hand..."
"Your user was revived. Your power is draining back into him," Zan interrupted, as if he were the one who could read minds.
Riley's power sighed, unable to deny this. "For now... You two will have to take care of things while I'm away." Under his breath, he muttered something, but Zan seemed to hear and glowered in return.
The apparition that had so closely resembled Riley vanished.

Hmmm, why isn't Charge part of this team? ._.
Sure, he is actually has a taste for blood, he enjoys killing for fun, and hates being controlled or following orders, but he can be a very sweet guy. D:
Not fair. >3<

~~~~
Zach winced as he moved his arm, causing the healer to scowl at him, reminding him once again to try to keep his shoulder muscles as still as possible.
Gene's power...The runny-that-usual blood hadn't gone away after she'd died, and, apparently, the tissue had been badly damaged too...While Zach should've been thankful he could still use his right arm, he was actually more concerned about the large scar that was sure to form on his shoulder, mostly likely appearing in the same "dented-looking" fashion as the new, smaller scar on his left forearm, yet another gift from his lovely battle with Gene.
This was great. Just like freaking Christmas.
Of course, with a more sarcastic tone.
Zach couldn't help but listen in on the healer's chatting as he waited for more gauze.
"Haha, so he survived Gene? Funny...Now he has to deal with Eight's... "Tour"..."
Both of the healers broke into a fit of giggling and laughter, causing Zach to grimace at the wall, which was what happened to be in front of him at the time.
He'd heard rumors about Crazy Eight...Not too pretty.
Maybe it would have all been better if Gene had finished him off after all? Anything to avoid meeting the crazy of the Falconians...
Raven looked at the screen and sighed. Of course Riley would have to go and fight that guy, Damon, the fourth strongest Falchion (she remembered him from the orphanage mission...). She had full confidence Riley would be fine, of course, but... She really didn't want to see her best friend kill someone, especially in a cruel setup like this.
The fight, after a long period of standby, had finally begun. Damon wielded a two-handed sword, which was rare as it meant the user had little defense, having to block everything with the one weapon. Normally, when using such a weapon, one couldn't do large, powerful swings because it would leave you too open, but he was so fast that normally, that wouldn't matter. In this case, Riley was just as fast, and using a pair of short twin daos, a bit like chopping knives, their lack of length allowed him much greater maneuverability and he often managed to slip past Damon's guard... Only for the wound to disappear instantaneously.
Riley's own defense so far had been flawless, and Damon had not got a hit on him. However, with the amount of force the leader was using, one hit could be fatal...
Raven's hand shook. That determined look on Riley's face... He looked so much like the 'other', it was unnerving... She shivered though it was not cold.
Col was actually kind of sleepy, so he yawned, leaned back in the chair and fell asleep, completely oblivious to Eight's intentions.
Eight's eyes lit up at this new prospect. She uncapped her marker, grinning.
This was going to be fun.
~~~One ballpoint pen graffiti fun-time later~~~

Eight stood up from the sleeping body, grinning to herself, and looking over her "masterpiece" with a look of contempt.
On Col's face, he sported the, always comical, glasses, fake eyes, and mustache, which he pulled off quite nicely, if she did say so herself. Yet the doodle that stuck out the most had to be the one inked onto the middle of his forehead, a picture of a flaming chicken sitting on the lever of one of those old "push down" TNT detonators.
She only got to his face before growing bored and leaving the Leader's Box, which was actually to Col's disadvantage, for, if the ink had been anywhere else, he could have noticed it before he walked up to anyone.
Nevertheless, Eight giggled softly to herself the entire way out of the Leader's Box.

Riley didn't particularly like his new blades. They looked far too much like giant chopping knives for his tastes... When he and Two had entered the armory, the latter had taken a short look at the array, a long look at Riley, then told him to wait there while he left. Riley had seen many swords there he would have liked to try out, but Two came back with two thick bladed and gold in color antiques. Riley wasn't about to talk back to Two, though, so he merely accepted them... But man, were those things heavy! Riley suspected Two had had these lighter, thinner, sleeker silver versions forged just fit him, but he had no idea why the leader had chosen what he could only identify as two short, one-sided swords- daos.
The fight wasn't making any progress with Damon's power. The way things were, Riley could only be pushed back. If only he could use his own power to gain access to the other's thoughts... But the wall was far too solid, Damon's mental defenses, unlike his physical ones, were too strong for Riley to break through. As for stamina, both males seemed to have an equal footing, as they were tiring out at the same rate. It was really remarkable that with so little training, Riley could go head to head with someone like Damon; he had to hand it to Two.
However, Damon abruptly changed direction mid-attack; instead of going for Riley's shoulder where the latter would have blocked it, he went for one of his blades, and with a quick flick of the wrist, sent one flying from Riley's grip. It hit the ground point first and stuck hard. Now Riley only had a single short dao which was no match for Damon's monster two-hander... If Riley was going to die, he'd blame it all on Two's lousy weapon choices!
Something strange was happening, however... Riley wasn't feeling tired anymore, and then, when Damon attacked again, going for the kill, Riley found that actually, the one dao WAS a match, he was even doing better than before! Or maybe Damon was distracted by the increase of power besieging his mental barriers...

Annabell noted the conflicting looks upon the faces of Damon's fangirls to be a sign of an even match. They switched from looks of horror to glee-then back to horror-so fast that the entire thing became too tedious for Annabell, and she gave up and started to watch the match herself.
Yep, just as she had guessed, the fight was even.
Things looked bad when Damon knocked one of Riley's knives, (there might have been a better word for the weapons, but Annabell's memory failed her at the moment), out of his hands-an act that caused the fangirls to cheer-but the boy had recovered nicely-which silented the fangirls, if it's worth mentioning.
Annabell made sure to study Riley's movements. It sure did look like he was powerful, as a lot of people here were, but...so many questions still weighed on Annabell's mind.
Questions that she intended to find out, as it seemed that, throughout all this time, she'd been left in the dark about one thing or another...
Which was funny, considering she was the "spy".
If being completely in the dark about so many things didn't annoy the crud out of her, maybe she could find the humor in the irony of her predicament.

It was a long fight. The arena filled with the clashing of swords. With Riley's new-found energy, his speed increased, and Damon was forced to match this, until their movement's were too fast for the commentator to follow anymore, and the audience just stared blankly at the scene, completely clueless.
Damon was definitely having a tough time. At one point his right wrist was cut so deeply he would have lost the hand if his power hadn't immediately restored him. However, this was taking a great toll on his energy, while his opponent almost seemed to be more vigilant than ever. Only once had he managed to hit Riley, when the other seemed distracted for a moment, glancing at his lost dao as if weighing whether or not he could get it back. Damon had swiftly replied in the negative by slashing him across the shoulder...
Riley narrowed his eyes, knowing that another lapse in concentrating would mean his death... He couldn't help but notice, however, that Damon remained strangely confident throughout the whole fight. Does he not fear dying? he wondered.
There it was! A chance for a fatal blow! There was just one split second in which Damon's guard dropped and he could slip past to deliver a fatal blow.
He hesitated.
Does it make a difference if you take one life?
In that hesitation, Damon smashed through his sword against the unprepared Riley's, the impact knocking the latter to the ground.
He tricked me, Riley realized, calmly assessing the situation. As things stood, he was going to die... This would be about when the hero would against all odds, despite heavy wounds, get up and begin their counterattack....
Damon walked up to him, and Riley suddenly realized it had not been a ploy at all. The sword was shaking badly in the leader's hand. He knew that Riley could have killed him.
"Not everyone's a hero," Damon said softly, pointing his blade at Riley. One quick slash would do it.
Without thinking, Riley reached out and grabbed the blade. It cut into his hand but he ignored the pain. Damon's eyes widened. if he hadn't been so surprised by Riley's actions, he could have easily sliced the other's fingers off, but as it was, the leader was unable to so much as blink before Riley yanked the two-hander from his hands and tossed it away. (It flew into the audience and narrowly missed skewering a fangirl.)
Now they were both weaponless.

Annabell's eyes widened, but her surprised face turned into a scowl when, instead of remaining on the two guys, the camera angle started to focus on some commotion in the stands.
Apparently, some of Damon's fangirls started a fight over his sword, and a huge squabble over the thing started in the stands.
In all truth, the fangirl fight looked more intense then the actual fight they'd been watching only moments ago, so Annabell couldn't blame the camera man for thinking it was so much more interesting.
After watching the fangirl fight try to get broken up by some one-squadsmen, Annabell decided this was actually a saving grace so she didn't have to view whatever might come next.
As she turned away from the screen, she noted that the Damon fangirls behind her had taken off, perhaps in the direction of the arena to join the fight for the convented item...

Riley smiled bitterly as the cameras switched away to the petty fight and gingerly attempted to pick himself himself up off the ground, but collapsed from exhaustion. He hadn't realized exactly how tired he was until then.
Damon had been watching the squabble with a curious expression on his face, but turned back to Riley. "You... Are you going to get up already?" he put on a good show but he was quite pale and breathing more heavily than normal.
Riley thought about it for a few moments, then managed to push himself up into a kneel, staring blankly at the ground as his vison fuzzed for a moment.
"I- I don't want to fight anymore," Riley coughed, his voice was quite weak but Damon heard.
He was a little shocked for a moment, thinking he was mistaken, but then he smiled slightly. "Oh?"
Riley didn't eleborate. He was tired now, and the fight seemed more meaningless than ever. Why were they fighting?
"Then you won't mind," Damon pulled free the dao of Riley's which had been stuck deeply into the ground in an impressive feat of strength even without having fought for close to an hour. "If I do this..." he hefted the weapon, a third of the length of his two-hander and much, much lighter. He made a bit of a face at Riley's lack of expression while watching. It was unnervingly calm, but he did not falter... Finally, this was it!
Without warning, Riley tackled him. Damon was caught utterly on unawares, as the dao was twisted out of his grip and.... Riley knocked him out with a swift blow to the head by the guard.
Slowly, he sighed in relief. He didn't have to fight anymore, and no one was seriously hurt. He used his last dregs of energy to roll a few meters away and come to rest on his back, so that he could see the space where the sky ought to be before he too lost consciousness.

By the cameras flipped back to the arena, it seemed that the battle had just ended in a double knock-out, much to Annabell's relief.
Then, much to Annabell's confusion, the words "Double K.O!" flashed upon the screen in bright pink letters, followed by the entire stadium starting to viberate to Risk Astley's hit song, "Never Going to Give You Up". It was after that the screen faded to black.
Behind her, somebody muttered, "Look's like Eight broke into the screening room again this year.", a bit grudgingly, if Annabell had to say something about it.
The screen was now flashing a bright yellow "Please Stand-By" signal, telling everyone that it will be announcing the final Leaders in a bit.
"...."
Annabell couldn't really comment on the final minutes of the fighting, honestly....

(Nope! XD )
(Let's hope they moved Riley's and Damon's bodies. XD)

Suddenly, Annabell watched as the TV screen flashed back on after a few minutes of waiting, revealing a very annoyed looking Effie Trinket impersonator.
"I'm sorry about that interruption!"
Her little act couldn't even hide the annoyance in her voice, and it showed through the high-pitched way of speaking.
"We still have one challenger, 142!"
The following battle was actually very exciting, if Annabell had to say anything about it. (Or at least, the bit of it she watched.)
142 had choosen the guy in sixth position, 116, who had been ranked one below him on the scale.
It was a well matched, well paced battle, with both contenders clearly fighting to their hardest-yet 116 still never showed his power, even when 142 sent chunks of the ground flying at his opponent.
Though, it was key to note that 142 started to get slowly more tired...
Until it was finally to the point where 116 caught him off guard, slashing a nice sized hole into his challenger's body with the sharp sickle.
Somebody had just defended their spot.

-Done. XD
I actually liked these characters I used, 116 and 162. XD Yet I imagine them both to be a certain breed of psychotic... XD Though that can be changed, always. XD )

One was in her office, the screen in front of her paused on that exact split second where Riley could have lashed out and kill Damon. Her hand holding the remote was shaking so badly it fell from her grasp. Her eyes stared blankly ahead, seeing nothing.
Two stood by the doorway, watching her reaction.
"He could have been too slow, or not seen it," she argued to herself aloud.
"He could have," Two conceded. "And later?"
"He could have been too weak to finish Damon off."
Two smiled. "Yes. He could have."
"He must be an Unnoen," she said abruptly.
"That's not true. That curse has been failing for a long time now," he told her.
She whipped around, stunned. "How do you know?" she whispered.
He did not reply, only smirked slightly.

"And on that bombshell, this year's tournament is offically over we will now announce our new leaders!" The Effie Trinket cosplayer informer the crowds. (At this time, all the disgusting gore on the arena disappeared, wiped utterly clean).
"NINE! Karen Inertia!"
The screens all cut to the young, dark-haired girl who had taken ninth pace. Having fought with a SIM, she was completely uninjured and so was in the stands. Feeling the camera on her, she scowled before turning her back on it and marching out the exit. Damon's fangirl types fought for the screen time.

"EIGHT!"
The word served as both a placing and a name, and when the screen flashed to show the leader, no live image of the girl appeared, only a stock image-a very photoshopped and tampered past recognition one at that-was visible on the screen.
"Effie" was no fazed by this, however, and merely continued.

"SEVEN! Abigail Williams!"

The screens now cut from the fighting fangirls to number 162, who had been waiting in the stands next to another competitor and new leader.
The girl straightened up as her name was called, forcing a bit of a smile on her face, and complusively brushing the strands of her light brown hair out of her face.

"SIX! Dylan Pullien!"

Dylan's response was much more condescending.
With a ghost of a grin upon his lips, he gave a small, two-fingered salute towards the camera-successfully earning him at least a few fangirls-before turning back to continue to chat with Abby.

"FIVE! Zach Bringer!"

By this time, Zach had been released from the infirmary, and was too seated up in the stands. As if hearing his own name called over the speaker to a roaring audience wasn't weird enough, Zach now had to stare up at his own face on a giant screen above the arena. Frankly, Zach was sure this entire "winner/loser" feel to the Truce was overated.
Then again, it wasn't really like most of the losers felt anything, being dead...

(If you're wondering about Dylan's last name, I just typed in random letters. XD )

"What do you think of the new kids?" Two casually chamged the subject, earning a glower from One.
"They seem all right," she replied grudging. "I wish I could meet them in person, then we'd know. But seriously, Spike, tell me how you found out about the-"
"What is that?" he interrupted. She was about get annoyed at him until she saw an odd emotion present on his face. One followed his gaze to a screen showing the leader's box. It took her a few seconds to register what she was looking at in her brain.
"Oh my..." she looked as though she didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"FOUR! Riley."
Damon's fangirls hissed and spat at this. However, it was obviously they didn't care one little bit for the life of the actual person, as many of them left to liberate souvenirs from his office. Besides, it probably didn't hurt that Riley wasn't bad-looking either.
Raven sighed in relief when she heard her friend's name. She hated watching him kill a person, but it was better than him being the one killed... And he was one place higher than Zach, thank the gods. Though she had worse things to worry about than a guy who denies his own hair colour. Like how Two was going to eventually kill her after torturing her for fun, and stopping the rebels, presuming she managed up escape the first....

Col awoke to a very strange sight. Two was standing over him, a very frightening smile on his face as he snapped pictures on his iPad, muttering, "I am going to frame this and stick it on my wall..."
Two paused, seeing him awake, and offered him the iPad, the smile growing even more scary as it took a malicious tone... This was probably the expression he wore while cutting people slowly with red hot knives... Col hesitated, then reluctantly took the iPad...
He nearly dropped it in shock. His immediate reaction was to delete the picture, but on finding Two had already taken around fifty, he wouldn't have enough time, before the camera... The camera! Two, forseeing what was about to happen, quickly snatched his invaluable IPad back, as just as the camera switched over to, "THREE! Col," he burst into blinding white flames, shocking everyone who didn't know of the leader's ability. More scary than that, however, was that if you listened very closely, you could hear Two laughing softly in the background, a mythical sound which, as rumor has it, is potent enough to make birds fall from the sky...

Zach had to admit-watching the leader's box suddenly spring up in flames was rather interesting.
"Oh~ It's look like Mr.Flaming Chicken woke up! How fun!"
The loud, peppy voice literally came from inches away from his ear, and Zach jumped, the girl catching him off guard, as he'd been currently to preoccupied watching the white-hot fire.
The fact his power was able to detect an explosion before it happened but not a rather loud girl sneaking up behind him was one of the many things that bugged him in the world.
"Anyway~ Welcome!" Eight smiled, moving uncomfortably close to Zach, grinning like a mad woman. "Five, huh? Good luck with that~ I doubt you'll have as many fans as Damon had-or would he technically be four now? I don't really count it, since Three's disappearance was so close to the Truce...you were in squad three, right? Bet you knew him. At least a little. Exploding chicken boy idolized him, more or less."
Eight pursed her lips, that had been painted dark blue to match her hair. "Anyway, i'm in charge of showing the newbies around! Unofficially, yet, you still have to, if you want to be released."
Eight motioned down, and Zach hesitantly looked, sensing something terrible...and facepalmed at the fact his hand was now handcuffed to Eight's.
Sometimes he really hated his power.
She motioned behind them, where the other two new leaders stood, Abby looking a bit uncomfortable, and Dylan watching Eight with mild interest, both of them also handcuffed together.
"We have to go find that IKEA girl, and I can go show Riley around myself later~" Eight flashed yet another smile, then jumped up, pulling Zach along forcibly, wishing he had a buzzsaw right at the moment...

(Eight works in mysterious way. XD Where's Karen? 😈 )

Karen had reluctantly ventured back into the stands to search for some of her friends when she overheard the leader Eight talking to that boy who'd killed Gene in his match.
Stealthily, she mixed with the crowds hoping to remain undetected and escape.

The camera turned to Two, but he waved it off, and the camera of course obeyed; who wouldn't? He then left, presumably to get fresh air *coughsmokecough*.
Effie Trinket quickly reassured the masses about the flames; "All part of the show, folks! So that's it. You all have one week of vacation, just make sure you don't do something stupid like fix a public SIM with irremovable gore, causing the toliet system to get blocked by the amount of sick thrown up into them... Because if you do, you'll be the one scrubbing those toilets for your entire break," she gave a scary, Two-esque smile.
Somewhere, the SIM programmers shivered coldly, knowing there was no escape from their fate.

There was honestly no escape from Eight.
Or that's what the said leader claimed as she spotted Karen in the crowds, and ran to her with the speed of a jack rabbit, or some other small, rodent-like creature. This was pretty impressive, considering she always also dragging Zach at the same time.
When Eight was just a few inches away from Karen's back, which was still turned in flee mode, the peppy girl called out to her in the same fashion she had gotten Zach's attention.
"Karen IKEA~ How's our wonderful new Nine? Well, better than the old, currently, but I digress~ ...Hey where are you heading?"
The blue haired girl was once again was rather uncomfortably close to the Karen girl's left side, and Zach was forced into this as well, being bound to Eight's right hand.
He smirked, noticing that Eight already had the handcuff halfway around one of Karen's free wrists, the metal barely hovering above her skin, about to snap close.
...It was about at this moment Zach realized, in shock, the handcuffs about to be slammed around Karen's wrist were attached to his free right hand.
...He decided to keep every ounce of his attention on Eight for the rest of this forced tour torture.

(If this sounds awkward, it's because it was, to write. XD I didn't know how to approach this exactly. XD Oh well. )

"... It's Inertia. The t is silent." Karen was a girl who recognized defeat when she saw it. Sulkily, she allowed herself to be led away. She payed the other new leaders no attention as they did not interest nor concern her.

(If this looks short, it's because it is 😋 I am too lazy to think of anything else X3)

"Isn't that a property of matter?" Eight blankly questioned, blinking and snapping the cuffs closed at the same time.
She then slipped away from Zach and Karen, no longer handcuffed to the former, but them together.
"Isn't this just lovely? We are all here together~! I'm glad I can show you all around~" Eight smiled at her small, captive group, glancing around at the gloomy, defeated faces as if it was Christmas Day.
"Come on, everyone~! I'll show you all the cool leader perks!"
Eight then started to skip ahead of the group, which had to trudge behind after her as if they were on a death march.

Behind him, Zach could make out a whispered arguememt between numbers Seven and Six...
"Can't you materialize out of here? Hurry up before she realizes she messed up!" The male voice argued.
"You really think I haven't tried that already? This thing restricts my power!"
Seven's voice hissed back at Six, angered.
...
Zach didn't need his power to work to know that the leaders were going to get along "SO" well.

The first stop on Eight's tour(torture) train was the training rooms.
She quickly explained that each leader gets there own room to train, suited to however they liked.
Then, upon pausing a moment to think, she added:
"There are no limitations to how you can practice, really. Two uses the people who disappoint him as torture dummies. I think Col's might be supernova proof. And I am certainly a fan of wiping memories of random people and feeding them to alligators." Eight trailed off upon the last sentence, and Zach was not completely sure if she was lying or not...

This leader was officially barking. Karen's face was like stone as she soldiered through the tour. Endure, endure... What if she needed to go to the bathroom? Though according to the tournament host, most of them were busted by vomit anyway... Just don't think about that, she told herself sternly.
At least the boy she was handcuffed to wasn't so annoying like the other two, arguing. He was also supposedly a lot stronger than herself...
Well, the tour was pretty actually amusing so far, so long as you didn't take Eight's words to heart... In which case you would probably end up running away screaming every time you saw a leader...
"..." she chose not comment on the training rooms. She was in First and used them a lot, so Karen knew how they worked.

The second stop was the cafeteria, where Eight explained the leader-only perks to the cafeteria-a bigger serving of the weekly ice cream, and even tastier grub! She claimed that One got lobster if they requested it, yet the lower ranks had much more limited choices. No by much, however...
The leader then lead them away, towards the offices.

"...So, how did you kill your opponent, Six?" Abigail was trying to make small talk with her bond-buddy, attempting to make conversation in the void that was only filled by Eight humming "London Bridge is Falling Down".
Dylan let out a short laugh, as if waiting for this question.
"Easy. I killed them with kindness." he replied, a smirk growing on his face.
"Like a deadly power could ever be kindness." Seven rolled her eyes.
"Obviously. "Kindness" is the name for my weapon of choice...So I can kill with kindness." The smirk grew wider on Six's face. "I think Five over there would understand..."-he nodded towards Zach- "He looks like the type to also name his weapons."
Perhaps it was the cocky, insulting tone Six had choosen to use, or maybe it was because he was a bit crabby after being forcibly handcuffed to another person, but Zach didn't hesitate to answer Six's statement.
"Yeah, I do. Their names happen to be "Shut" and "The Fu-"
"Hey~! There's Spike-y's office!", Eight suddenly squealed in delight, as if she was a child meeting the Mickey Mouse costume at Disney World, " I kinda doubt he's in, but his lock is super fun to see! It's all high-tech! The closer to the top, the better locks you get. I only got a keycard, but I never really think that makes sense considering I'm information!"
She then proceeded to pout, and obviously made it clear that she wanted a cooly locked door.

In truth, Two was, at that moment, inside, but one would not know if they entered, for he was buried underneath a pile of paperwork reaching higher than the sky.... On his computer. Thank god things were nowadays electrically done, if not, Spike knew for a fact he could really suffocate from the amount of crud he needed to work through daily... 'And with all this work, they still all think I have time to plot against them, sigh...' he thought tiredly.
In theory, he could dump this work on other leaders, but in practice... Who would actually be able to do this stuff? The old Nine, Evie, was constantly sewing the clothes, Eight, not on your life, Clay too silly and uncapable of so much serious work (the results were worse if you used force) and Damon never got it done as he was busy with pedicures, (and threatening him was too tiring), and Fain obsessed with swinging swords all day (even Spike did not threaten the old Three during swordtraining, which was most, if not all, of the time). He'd managed to get Col and Thomas to do some, but Col was leaving soon on a mission One wouldn't tell even him about, now Thomas was dead (good riddance, even if he did do paperwork), and even Gene too... Of course, that had been his motive for getting Riley up here! A silent, reliable, unquestioning worker like him was perfect. Two dreamed of the day when he would be able to take his time and enjoy torturing people again, without the ominous feeling of paperwork building up weighing down on him and disturbing his peace of mind....

(Now please, a few moments of silence for Riley XD)

Now Karen looked at the new Five with mild appreciation. At least someone else seemed moderately sane, in her book.
After reflecting on the conversation for a moment, she did mutter under her breath, in a strange tone, as if she was a computer recording something; "Kindness -is- deadly..." and, "Naming weapons, lame...", and what logically followed; "Six, lame."

"Now let's go watch Damon's fangirls rip each other limb from limb as they fight over the stuff left in his office!" Eight cheered, and made Zach wonder to himself if he would have to get his new underlings to fix the walls to his new office.(He had seen what those fangirls could do. They were worse than a herd of rabid moose.)
"Uhh, Eight?"
A small voice quickly coming down the hallway interrupted Eight's excitement.
"Oh, Jamie!" Eight grinned, waving to her assistant rather enthusiastically.
"It's Jane-you know what, nevermind." The assistant shook her head, frowning.
"Those papers you gave me to look over before the Truce? I found something off-very off-in A-C..."
Eight blinked, as if the information was processing in her head. "Jamie, I already knew this. That's why I gave them to you TO LOOK OVER." She exaggerated the last few words, sounding exasperated, and pulling her face into a pout. "I was going to bring it up during the next meeting, there should be one soon, with the new leaders!" She motioned to the handcuffed train following her, and then turned back to Jane.
Jane fidgeted a bit upon realizing her mistake.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know you already knew...these can wait-"
"But if you're so keen on interrupting me-I guess I can go. Let me just finish up her." Eight finished her over-dramatic monologue with a tired sigh, obviously faked, and then shooed her assistant away before turning back to the new leaders, a grin on her face.
"Sorry I had to cut it kinda short guys~!" The leader then tossed two sets of keys at each of the handcuffed pairs, waiting for them to get uncuffed.
