@firegirl

I'm good, thanks for asking.

A bit tired. I woke up at 3 am to watch the gold medal hockey game in the Olympics. 😃

Stoked though! For my week off school.

Jealous of you peeps. I won't get a week off until spring. I guess it's not too far off, but stillll ;-;

Bah. And somehow I had the brilliant idea of taking speech class despite being the most socially inept person you could ever meet. Now it's killing me OTL

@karamel I know the feel. x'D My week off went by way too fast. And I was too busy enjoying it to study for tests. I'm so lazy sometimes.

@dragonii

Anime is amazing. I just spent my whole week off watching anime. 😃

@april__ /Your week/ flew by? This week has gone by too slowly; I feel as if I've been at school for an entire month already. >_>;;
You're not lazy at all--you're using this (or that? xD) week for what it's for, which is a break. xP

Good luck on your tests, though~! I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. ❤️ I've got a mini French test next Tuesday, a Chemistry test on Thursday, and then a huge French test on the next Monday. I just had a Mathematics test on Monday and a Latin test the next day. /cringes

@icymuffin Just these last few weeks to go until your break, then~! Make sure to relax as much as possible during that week. c:

Oh gosh! D: Well, maybe it's a good way to be... less socially inept? *hugs* xD I wish you the best in that, though.

@dragonii One Direction isn't actually talked about too often round here. Maybe it's because I live in England? xD Or maybe it's just my school. We often talk about the upcoming test(s!) or how we "failed" the previous one(s), or we're frantically revising. Our short break is 20 minutes, and our "long" break is 30 minutes, but we're always let out late because the teachers always discuss homework at the last minute. No rest for the weary, I suppose! 😋

@dragonii
I just finished clannad and the after story. My favourite anime is wolf's rain. Yours? I've done cosplay as princess mononoke. 😃

@karamel

Oh boy. Good luck to you! You'll do great!

I needed the break to catch up on sleep. Full time student and full time job equals me being too tired to function when I get home. XD
I have a midterm worth 40 in both my economics classes. Ugh.
The only course I hate. XD

@april__ Haha, thank you~! ❤️ You too. I guess we'll just have to hope for the best and do what we can!

I still can't believe how you can juggle being a full-time student /and/ having a full-time job. D: Look after yourself. *hugs*

Hey, just remember that mid-terms are there partly because it shows you how you're doing. So if you don't do too well, just learn from your mistakes~ c: I know the feel. xD

@dragonii Ooh, okay. How's home-schooling? Do you like it better or do you sometimes wish you could have public schooling? o: Some people say that they hate home-schooling because they have no classmates and stuff, but I find it helpful at times to have one-on-one teaching.

Eh, it's us British/English people. We're just so easy to fangirl over. 😋
(Just kidding.)

@karamel

That is true. But as my economic class is made up of one mid term worth 40% of my grade, and the final worth 60%, it's pretty stressful. No room for mistakes really. DX

And it's not easy to juggle, I sometimes end up having to nap in between classes in my car, lol!

And we shall hope for the best & do well, cause we're awesome like that.

@april_ my favoright is bleach (love tite kubo's works) and vampire knight. There is one other but I'm not sure if I can bring that one up. ^v^;

@karamel home schooling is its usual, I guess. :T I honestly don'the many opinions on being homeschooled. But I do guess I have more time to do side study's. Idk

Sorry,I can't think, i just tried to salvage chicken liver that my grandma fried... and faild and I don't want to eat chicken liver ever again. Gaah.

@april__ Oh wow; best of luck to you. D: Study hard, and all will be well! ❤️

I can never take naps frequently unless I have some form of alarm clock with me. I'm always paranoid about whether I'll over-sleep and/or be late, and I end up spending most of my napping time half-sleeping + worrying about whether/when it's time to get up. xD

@dragonii True. I used to be quite interested in home-schooling or online schooling, because I prefer to do things at my own pace instead of following the teacher's pace during lessons. :I

*pats your stomach* I know what it's like to eat stuff like that. Chinese traditions involve... weird parts of pigs and birds, let's say. xD

I'm also quite fond of Angel Beats. Very quite. ❤️

@karamel

I do that too with naps! Even with an alarm. I set three on my phone in case I sleep through but I'll wake up several times panicked about being late.

If only we could be sure we wouldn't over sleep. Naps woul dbe so much more relaxing.

@april__ I'm the same about lateness! I have to write everything down on a Post-it note (regardless of the fact that it's all in my homework diary + planner) and check it practically every five minutes to see if I need to do anything at that time. x3

If only we had some sort of "built-in clock" that acts like an alarm clock,--we can set reminders that pop up in our mind, set a "body alarm", etc. That would be pretty cool.

@karamel

That would be pretty cool. I approve of this idea.

I have to constantly double check everything to make sure I got it right. I'm so paranoid I copied down the wrong page numbers or even set my alarm to PM instead of AM and ect.

I will double check & triple check everything.

@karamel my mom belives in learning at your own pace.
But there are times I think she has forgotten that.

I just... the worst part is having a up set stomach and being the second one to be dependable in my family, so I have to watch two little kids. Blah Q-Q

@april__ The next stage is to actually /make/ it... Which might be hard, since I think humans are necessary for testing this? xD

Yes yes yes. When we get letters home for school trips and whatnot, before leaving the house, I have to read the letter twice to make sure I have all the details memorised.
And sometimes even double-checking what I've written isn't enough--I ended up doing page 175 to 177 instead of 115 to 117, because I thought that one of the 1s was a 7. x3

@dragonii Yeah; parents can sometimes put more stress on their children without realising it. D:

Sometimes watching little kids is fun! x3 Having the responsibility and getting used to it will definitely help you in the future, too.

@april__ man I didn't refreash the page and I didn't realise you posted. 😋 what's Angel Beats about?

@karamel yes they can.
I can watch them its just, I'm feeling lightly sick so it makes it a little harder to watch little kids.

@karamel

Double checking is a pain for me because I often mix numbers up.

And I suppose that is a problem. Oh dear. I kind of really wish I could see where humanity was going to be in a couple hundred years. Like all the advances we were going to make.

I get too interested in science & all that exciting stuff.

@dragonii

Angel Beats is kind of a sad anime. And kind of hard to explain, but it's great. Clannad is the saddest anime I've seen, but anime movies... Grave of the Fireflies. There are no words. >_<

And as for watching kids, save me. I've been at work since 5 am and then I get off at 4 to baby-sit until midnight.
I am so stoked for sleeping, and wish me luck that he's in a watch TV mood today and not let's play in the cold snow and run around. x'D

I'm young so I don't know the hardships of having to do actual jobs.
All I do is babysit siblings.

@dragonii

I know the feeling. I've dealt with a lot of rude people today.

Some lady came into the office and then flat out said, 'Yeah, I'll have someone else take care of me who doesn't have piercings on their face.'

Like excuse you? v-v I was nothing but pleasant to you.

She wasn't even the worst of it today.

Some days I really love my job & others I wish I could just disappear. x'D

Thank you for the luck! And a 5 and a 2 year old? That sounds chaotic.

@dragonii

Yeah, she did. She said she'd like someone who finished school was what she said to my mum.

Well, her surprise when she found out I was in my second year at University... x'D Judging doesn't get you anywhere.

And well, it's good that I love kids. I have a lot of patience. They're cute & funny. 😃 And easy to please. They don't hint at things, if they want something they directly tell you.

I'm thinking about doing an Early Childhood Education Program after I complete my current one. 😃

I've completed two. I have two more to go in my current program. Can't wait tobe done with these courses, lol.

This kid I'm baby-sitting is really clingy and needs to be curled up next to me when he's watching TV. But he's cute, so it's okay.
