Hope everyone has had a good first week for 2017

I've only had one day off so far this year.
I had slight hope my job would calm down this month before I start working and studying next month, but nope. Its okay, money.

Its so hot today so I was actually glad to be working. I was out in the liquor cool room for most of my shift xD

I'm going to the carnival tonight!! 😸

The first week of 2017 has treated me well ❤️ It seem like New Years was just yesterday though lol. & yeah, that's the best way to look at working.

I wish I could go to a carnival! A few more months to go before one of those popup again. It's pretty cold tonight, and we're suppose to be getting some snow.

I was wishing the same thing in the summer. I have to be more careful of what I wish for, lol. It's currently 24 degrees here fahrenheit, which is reasonable. Last year around this time it was like -5.

We haven't had snow for almost a week. I'm rejoicing.
It's still icy and gross when I go to work in the mornings, but I haven't managed to crash my truck a second time. Which is good, because I don't think she'd survive again, haha.

This is the longest I've been in the house in forever, and I can't take it anymore! Tonight I might just go downtown and find me a nice place to eat so I can enjoy me a nice a meal.

I hit ice on my way to work. I go to work for 6 am, so it was pretty icy. I'm so happy I have a truck.
Everyone tried to convince my to get a car but I'm big on going off roading so I needed four wheel drive. Which has been a life saver in the snow.

I hope you manage to keep your new gift safe as well and I encourage getting out the house. I go stir crazy when I'm in the house for more than a few hours.

I've never had school cancelled due to heat. Even when it was ~40 Celcius we had to go to school. I don't cope too well in the heat and I'm the fool who wants to be an Archaeologist XD

Archaeologists typically do things in summer as there isn't as much grass growth as in other seasons.

I've had school canceled for both the heat and cold throughout my life. There was this thing back in high school that if it reached 85 (or 90) degrees Fahrenheit before 12 pm, then we'd be released early.

& being an Archaeologist sounds interesting. I've heard about it before but never knew what it was until I Googled it a few seconds ago lol.

I hardly ever have snow or ice where I live. It gets cold, but doesn't snow very much at all. Or it just stays warm all winter, which is also kind of annoying.

It's getting colder at where I live, and just like every year, I get a cold (I'm kinda used to it since it 😋 ). But Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year) is in less than a month, which means that the holidays are coming soon 😃

It snowed rather heavily yesterday. I was almost pelted by multiple snowballs thrown by younger children while trying to get inside the school and the school bus. Snow during school is always fun.

It's still snowy outside right now. I can see that snowballs have been thrown at our windows during the night. Fun, fun.

I'm lucky because there's a lot of Archaeology in Australia with the aboriginals and there's a surprising amount of jobs in the field when you think about it. Mining companies, builders need to hire archaeologists before building on a site and that goes for other building projects as well so it's typically involving the Government.

It's the Summer Season and oh no.. It was around 36 degrees today @.@ And the last week has been, phew, boiling .__. Would die for snow right now...

@mastergemma - Not exactly, but it just depends on how they're thrown and stuff. It's just pretty annoying, especially since it's all little children.

That, and if I'm going onto the school bus, I'd want to be getting home quickly and not with my head coated in snow.

Speaking of tattoos, I really want another one. I want a collection of small ones. But at the same time, I'm worried about special occasions where I might not be so happy to have little tattoos showing. One is fine with me. But ugh, decisions.

I'm not rostered on for tomorrow, but tonight one of the guys finishing said "see you tomorrow" and I said I wasn't working. He asked if I was sure because the manager had said I'd be there. So I'm thinking I might get called in. We'll see....I kind of hope I don't xD

That's what I have. I'm happy with it. It didn't hurt nearly as bad as I expected. More of an uncomfortable feeling than anything. It all depends where you get it I guess.

My little brother and I got the same thing. We're going to get phoenix tattoos. He's getting a water one, and I'm getting a fire one. Since he's a fire sign and I'm a water.

I also want to get a sleeve, and a whole bunch. I'm addicted. Haha.

If I get a tattoo I would want a bracelet one but then I don't know what sort I would get. Would I get something related to Pokemon or gaming or maybe even a tattooed moon. Actually, the moon would be cool but it would have to be done well.

I'm planning on getting my ears pierced at the end of summer though so I have that to look forward to. I didn't care less about earrings until I saw a pair that I had to have. I couldn't find an image of the pair online so I found a similar pair and edited it horribly.

It's kinda similar. The gem in the middle is topaz in colour and there's a smooth band of gold on the outside of the patterned part.

If you live in Canberra, yes there is snow, but apart from that it's summer and freaking crazy as heck weather around here o.o One day it's hot as heck and the next there's rain pouring and lightning flashing I swear XD It's sosoosoososos hot fight now I'm dyinggggg xox

Where I am it doesn't snow except for the highest mountains but yes, we get the heat. Not often in the 40 C but we do have streaks of 30 C+ days. Right now it's cool but on Sunday it's going to be 32 C.


So for the fun of it, I decided to make an excel sheet of my creatures. So far I've only completed my main account and only the SUM parts of the sheet. I'm planning on adding a few conditional formatting rules so if I write cave common or LE, the cell will turn a different colour specific to what I wrote in it.

If anyone wants a copy to help track their creatures I'll be happy to upload a blank copy with all the formulas and a guide to what the formulas do. I just need to find a website to upload the file to.
